Briefly, many of the remarks being made against Pitney Bowes would simply not be accurate. For one, its relationship with the USPS does not guarantee a smoother operation for either Pitney Bowes or for any location where post office services are offered (authorized shippers). Any issues with the USPS are a shared responsibility with the customer, the carrier, and the authorized shipper or service. Also, the new Pitney Bowes "Amazon" QR system has put Pitney Bowes on the map in a rapid way. This transition too makes it a more efficient company and to offer such a critical system for returns is absolutely noteworthy.
Every time I order something and the company uses "Pitney Bowes" i already know its going to take longer than the date the actual company gave. Like if you order something and it says its going to get there on May 10th be prepared to wait til next month. Terrible service. I dont know why companies use them as a carrier. Horrible decision ever made.
Pitney has had my package for over a month, and there is no way to get a hold of them, that I could find online, unless you have an account. USPS website says that they're waiting for the package, but they won't get involved, and tell me to contact Pitney. I don't understand how this company stays in business. If USPS, FedEx, UPS, or any other did this, they'd lose so much service to the others. This company is a shamm & don't care when, even IF, you get your package! Really hope no medical supplies are ever sent through this sh*t company! And, don't let the Overall Rating fool you... Most people leave it as the defaulted 5 stars, but leave negative reviews.
Pitney Bowes has lost 3 of my packages in less than 2 months. They seem to never make it to USPS. This is disgraceful and if I had a choice I would never purchase anything that went through them ever again. Unfortunately that isn't possible because you usually don't find out that the company you're ordering from is using Pitney bowes until AFTER it's been shipped. Anytime I see that Pitney bowes is handling my package I get nervous. This company needs an overhaul Starting at the top.
I often order items from abroad and the seller use various companies to handle overseas shipping and taxes. Out of all the companies that the sellers use this one is by far the slowest. They take way too long between each single step. They take days to pick up parcels and days to hand them over to local shipping companies after custom clearance making the process of having stuff shipped overseas even longer than it needs to be. Compared to the other companies that offer the same service they are just too slow.
By far the worse customer service I have ever received. How is this company still in business? I Called three times and received attitude and no support or direction to questions I asked. The one person who I spoke to twice hung up the phone and gave me a major attitude the whole time. I still have no idea where my package is it was supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago and their website says that it's in their possession these people have no idea what good customer service is.
For the last 2 weeks our stamp machine is unable to print. We have called over 10 times to try and get some kind of technical help and have been unsuccessful. No one can tell me whats wrong with the machine and I cant use it. Then the people over the phone are very rude and are not willing to find answers and the heavy accent makes it difficult to understand.
I recently purchased a computer online and was given a Pitney Bowes tracking number. My issue is that the computer is being shipped to the wrong address, I tried to resolve the issue with the seller but was told that they could not do anything because it was already shipped.
I tried to contact Pitney Bowes but it is impossible to speak to a real person, especially someone willing to help. I reached out to them on Facebook explaining my problem in a message and was told to just keep tracking my shipment and was given a tracking link, I replied that I was tracking my shipment and needed to speak to someone about the wrong address, but they never replied to my request.
Pitney Bowes has to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, they do not want to be bothered, and they couldn't care less about their customers.

For months we have tried to get our equipment functioning. We have requested a termination of our lease. I have spent hours and hours talking with technical support, sales, I have called and left messages with managers and their corporate executives and do not receive a call back. It is appalling how they treat businesses and I would love to share my experience with anyone from the corporation or the general public.

Would give zero if I could, Wouldn't recommend. Stay away. Packages take forever... The tracking is false, they literally had it by my house then sent it back two hours away just to delay it by two more days... Never using them again or any company associated with these guys. STAY AWAY.

They are impossible to get in touch with, won't return calls, won't respond to emails and require you to open a case for any issues. Then, 20 days later they close the case with no contact or help. They've charged our business twice for the same items, charged erroneous late fees and are generally terrible to work with. If you can find a better place to work with, please, please do yourself a favor and stay away from PB.
Ive been waiting for my package for 25 days and it's been sitting in a city only a couple hours away from me. I sent an e-mail to both the place I ordered from and the shipping company that had the package before pitney bowes, and no one had responded. I spent over $100 and now have no way to get my money back and don't even know if I'll get my package. I am super upset and confused, why does it take so long? Why is it just sitting at the facility a few hours away? Why is there no way to get it figured out? Avoid using this company as best as you can it's literally a scam.
I always order my scrubs from figs and never had any problem with the shipment in the past but since they switched to this Pitney Bowes, my package has just been bouncing back and forth from US to Canada every day. You call their customer service, they don't even know what's going on. I ended up cancelling all my items because I can no longer stand the frustration and stress I was getting. So, yeah we're not purchasing anything from FIGS anymore until they change the carrier which is Pitney Bowes!

I never imagined incompetence at this level. They have had my parcel FOR 47 DAYS, and for the last 17 of those days it has been just sitting at one of their facilities within driving distance of my home, although they won't release it to me. Before that, they shipped it to several locations that made no sense at all. A complete nightmare. Avoid them at all costs. They are the very worst. The worst shipping of all my 58 years.
We had an issue with Pitney Bowes not applying payments as defined on the payment voucher. They could not tell us where our payment was applied. They would not follow up after saying they would. After many emails and receiving interest charges, we just gave up and made another payment to match their books. They would not provide us anything to reconcile against. I have only had such poor service and that was with another company and another Philippine call center.
They ship products away from destination by 80 miles then it heads off to USPS 150 miles away. It's taken 7 business days to get it to a USPS facility in Atlanta which is a FN black hole for packages. 3 day shipping my foot Never again. It's still 200 miles away. Pick your routes better.
Using GSP and Pitney Bowes for first and last time.
I paid for priority delivery from USA to Europe, but Pitney sent the item using "ground" transport service. This make no sense for international delivery.
In that way it take almost one week to cross USA, in case the parcel destination is Europe.
Currently the parcel stuck in Amsterdam, and 3 days later I have no updates.
The price is about 35 % more than If I handled custom taxes and VAT by myself.
Avoid this company when possible.
I've been in business in our local market (Western Canada) for over 25 years. To date - this is the worst vendor i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Unrealistic, predatory contract practices, unbelievably bad communcation.
Someone for the love of god shut down this damn business. I ordered a package from Canada not knowing they were partnered with PB... well, one month counting and its still not here. Has been 5 minutes from my house for little over a week now, been "en route" twice... several days apart... wtv. Well see if it ever shows up. :/
If I could give zero star rating, I would. This is the biggest scam ever and frankly I am appalled by the processes and level of customer service and support offered. Customer services agents are poorly trained, often do not understand the basic inquiry, pass customers from one department to another and just waste everyone's time. A basic request becomes a never-ending, impossible to complete task that takes weeeeks to complete (e.g. Close the account and get the return label). Regretfully, the organization i work for has multiple accounts with PB, but I am working very hard on getting ALL of them terminated. We simply do not want any dealings with this company.

Our small non-profit company has a long and chequered history with PB, mostly involving their convoluted accounts and credit programs - very confusing. Most recently we decided to go with another provider. For the last two years, PB would not cancel our account or give me instructions about how to return my old machine; we just stopped paying. They sicced a collections agent on us, who apparently figured out rather quickly that our company owed PB nothing, and the very next day at work there appeared a packing box for my old machine. A couple of hours later an agent showed up to pick up my old unit. I got better service from the PB collections agent than I did from the company itself.

This company is the absolute worst example of customer service. They have officially ruined any hope I had of a nice Christmas. They have lost/delayed every package I had ordered. They are absolutely awful! I gave plenty of time and ordered long ago and they still as of today updated that not one thing will actually arrive as planned. Complete ignorant garbage company.
This is the worst shipping company I've ever had to deal with. False updates on tracking, just horrible customer service. I will inquire about the shipping company used when ordering anything in the future. I will not do business if this (and I use the term loosely) business is involved. If there was a lower star rating I would put have put that.

SavagexFenty ships with Pitney and every order I've placed has been lost or heavily delayed, with tracking not updating, sometimes even for weeks. This shipping company is a joke. The last package I ordered was on Sept 24, shipped out a couple days later, tracking didn't update for just over a week and all of a sudden it was in New Jersey from California. And I live in California. Now that it's in NJ the shipping stopped updating again. I will never be using this company to ship goods and at this point I won't be ordering from companies that use them to ship orders. Two thumbs down.
My package was supposed to be delivered in 3-5 business days and it has now been 2 weeks with no tracking updates. The second package arrived within 3 business days with no problem, and was shipped on the exact same day from the same warehouse, just with a different carrier company. Ridiculous! There have been no tracking updates in over a week, and that update showed it was departing from a town 2 states over, which does not take over a week. Will never use again.
We had a lease with them for a postage stamp, couldn't stop our contract without huge fees and when it was over they charged us $86.99 for pick up service.
Conclusion, everything has a cost, it's really not worth it.

I had never heard of this company until I signed up for Ipsy. I thought it'd be fun, but the shipping delays and damaged products (do to improper package handling) have made each month less fun and more of a headache. I'm disabled and rarely leave the house due to my medical conditions, so I do most of my shopping online. I've NEVER experienced such delays and issues! A package will sit in a facility 30min from me for DAYS! Really guys? I could walk there faster to get it! I hate this company so much and wish they'd go out of business!
