Briefly, many of the remarks being made against Pitney Bowes would simply not be accurate. For one, its relationship with the USPS does not guarantee a smoother operation for either Pitney Bowes or for any location where post office services are offered (authorized shippers). Any issues with the USPS are a shared responsibility with the customer, the carrier, and the authorized shipper or service. Also, the new Pitney Bowes "Amazon" QR system has put Pitney Bowes on the map in a rapid way. This transition too makes it a more efficient company and to offer such a critical system for returns is absolutely noteworthy.
Every time I order something and the company uses "Pitney Bowes" i already know its going to take longer than the date the actual company gave. Like if you order something and it says its going to get there on May 10th be prepared to wait til next month. Terrible service. I dont know why companies use them as a carrier. Horrible decision ever made.

No way to contact them; my package was not delivered. They have the wrong status updates. Avoid at all costs!
Absolutely worst customer service care out there. Extremely rude. Provide no help, just transfer you multiple times.
OF THESE NEW AUTOMATIONS, FRUSTING COMPANIES THAT DO NOT CORRECT ANYTHING BY MONOPOLY OR GLOBAL GUARANTEED DELIVERY CONTRACT. Satisfying a standard class of customers (waiting at home), but not others who take other security measures to avoid having their packages left in the entrance of the building or who do not wanna be deliver to their private address, when you receive dozens of them.
They have NO customer service for customers who are waiting for their packages. Nor any way to recommend or arrange future deliveries.
Amazon uses Pitney Bowes for packages from the United States to Canada, but (absolute nonsense) these do not deliver to Amazon collection points at Canada Post outlets (without notice before ordering).
**** They never seem to warn their customer AMAZONE.COM.CA... (THE SITE) that they aren't shipping and Amazon doesn't seem to do anything either, even after hundreds of complaints.
Sometimes the package spends a week in town, without Pitney telling the customer. They also do not deliver to the official Canada Post parcel reception counter (by rental address, PO box AND RECEPTION DESK), on Amazon or E-bay, they say they deliver.
They sometimes call on the subcontractor Intelcom in Montreal, which does not deliver if you have a delivery point at the post office or a PO box with receipt of packages.

Basically anyone who has dealt with Pitney Bowes has had a lost package or 2, OR your package will get lost and not show up for a month or 2.
