They advertise "don't waste your money" then make you go through this long process just to ask for card info at the end. These guys can't tell you anything special and it's certainly not free. Scam, false advertising, terrible quality.

I didlike that it didnt show what i was paying it with but still see the charges on my credit report. I even try to reset to default, thinking it will not charge me anymore. But need to call in or to email just to cancel. Wasted my money. Suggest not to do the trial. Or have one person do it and then a bunch of people use it to make worth the money.

Absolute waste of time. Big Scam. Useless. Poopy. Snoopy. Sue themand take them too small claims court. The only way to get rid of these scumb bags. People just want to look up old friends. It claims to do it seconds. Try days.

If you sign up for the trial offer, the website wont work, and when I called four days in a row and never got to speak to someone, I tried their online support and got nothing but a $27 charge on my card for a service I couldnt even use!

To cancel the subscription you need to call the phone number! There is no way to cancel any other way. So you are at the mercy of the company since they can just tell you they will cancel it tommorow or in a few business days. Which could be terrible because it can make you accidentally pay again for the subscription which is 22$ a month before tax!

The billing practices are extremely deceptive. You will get several red notifications stating that they're having some "difficulties" and they are unable to cancel your membership at this moment. They're counting on you to forget to come back later. After I canceled my membership for the third time, I should have had the entire month left before the expiration date because I cancelled the day after they autobilled me. I just wanted to be sure that it didn't slip my mind the following month. When I went back to my account it gave me a prompt that said I had to "reactivate" in order to view the reports that I had saved, which should have still been accessible to me for almost an entire month. I sent the company an email and they told me that somehow you can still access the reports. To just try to click them anyway. I didn't even attempt it because that is extremely shady. To make it appear like you have to reactivate your account in order to get the rest of the month that you've already paid for. Oh that's sneaky. They're counting on you just believing that and reactivating. Not to mention the information in the report was nothing more than you could find on any Google search anyway.

I bought the 7 day trial of PEOPLE LOOKER in hopes to find out if I was being scammed. I ran a pic of my wife and the report showed nothing everything was blank. Bad part since this is a pay App it shouldn't have pop ups to try and jam other apps down your throat. These pop ups are so bad that it is hard to establish if the box your clicking has to do with your search or some off the wall app.

Today I received a notification from my financial institution stating I was billed $23.02 for a purchase from this website that I did not authorize. I sebt an email explaining tge situation and stating that the charge was not authorized and requested that any information or account in my name needed to be cancelled immediately.
This company responded to my email and granted my refund to my card in less then an hour! I was extremly surprised at how quick and professionally this inquiry of mine was handled. By far the best customer service I have ever had in regards to a fraud charged that was made to my account. Thank you for your quick and immediate response and services!

Use of this website and its services has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! First of all, I got no results on numerous phone numbers! Big disappointment! Second of all, its a large task finding out how to cancel my subscription! Huge scam! You hope I just give up and let it charge me! Well guess what? I didn't. Cancel it or I will be reporting this for fraud. I suggest you make it more accessible to cancel it. Your website is complete trash and you hope someone like me forgets to cancel it so you can make your spare change to pay your rent. This company is truly ran by a sad person. I will be going through my bank and getting a refund of every penny I spent on this horrible website, along with leaving this review. What a scam. When I first put in my card details here I was expecting a pleasant experience, and to get the results I desired. Well, let's just say it didn't go my way. No features even work! Waste of my time, money, and effort. I spent hours upon hours trying to figure out how to use this website, I spent hours trying to cancel the subscription as well. I will never suggest this awful website to anyone! DO NOT USE IT!

Continue to automatically bill you even if you uncheck the box during signup, have to call or email to cancel subscription and will be forced to listen to a 50% discount offer to desperately try to keep stealing your money. Absolute 100% shady business probably closest they can get to an official scam without crossing the legal line as to not get shutdown. DO NOT SIGN UP

Mediocre site. Most info very dated. Not worth the money. Customer service hard to get hold of. There are plenty other people who offer more updated info at a less expensive rate.

No info at all. The little info they give you could be found, unlike on their site, correctly on the web. Wrong phone number and addresses. Stay away from them. Horrendous.

You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves! Trying to lure people in by making them think they are searching for unclaimed cash. And then stating that it doesnt cost money to find out if you have unclaimed cash in your name, but then are directed to payment page and then never find out about the unclaimed cash. How do you get away with this? Am I supposed to trust in your company and service when the first thing you do is start out with a LIE? NOT A CHANCE! And below it states that writting false reviews of against the law, BUT YOU DELIVER FALSE ADVERTISING!

Sometimes we do not have an address available, or may be lacking a birthday for the person you're searching, however that does not mean that we do not have a record with other information available for that person.
If you've submitted your search with a specific city, middle name, or age and received no results, try removing some of that information and running the search again.
You may find that we have a record for that individual in a different city than you were looking for them in, or we have a result for them, but it does not have an age attached.

By adjusting the search parameters to be wider you may be able to find a record that was not showing up at first.

I contacted peoplelooker yesterday and wrote about the 22.86 dollars worth of refund and they haven't replied back yet. I say though I received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The info I got wasn't up-to-date, like the other people search websites that I looked at, but my customer agents get bak to me and explained my problems. I would RECOMMEND them for their service!
I noticed the age for Sydney M williams was 30 the other websites posted her age as 32 so accuracy isn't the best and won't complain. As for the refund though, I am waiting on a reply back. The same info I got you can actually get for FREE! Paying didn't give me much more info, but also gave me financial and criminal info which I didn't really need! I really DON'T NEED TO KNOW what's going in their private lives and NEITHER SHOULD YOU! My gut feeling is its a potential scam though, like the other websites I looked at.

WHEN LOOKING FOR THE BEST RESULTS HIRE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR! These people search websites they all collect PUBLIC INFo, and you can google the same info yourself at just a little more time!

BIG LETTERS IT SAYS FREE! Absolutely not free. You have to subscribe to a membership, not free, give your credit card, that's not free, and on your membership that at the cheapest is $24.95+ tax for a month. They won't charge you until the 8th day. THIS IS NOT HOW FREE WORKS!

I would of tried your service cause I needed a complete history. But when you did not show just initials or name "free" like you advertise, I thought they might double Bill me, over charge me…who knows they lied in the first sentence. Gave me a bad vibe for this company! Use at your own risk, and IT'S NOT FREE FOR ANYTHING!

I held on while it took 2 & 1/2 minutes to update-long time on their end. I have exceptionally great wi-fi all because it was “free”, and after all that I was to buy a membership, with the first week free. Why do companies feel they must mislead consumers! We aren’t idiots. The company hopes you will sign up and tell yourself I’ll cancel in a week but they are hoping you forget, you get busy. And that is shady!
