All the thin crusted pies are cooked fresh in their charcoal heated oven. They offer several
Unique specialty pies that are so good it is impossible to choose which one to try first.
They also offer salads and drinks- a unique line of birch beer and root beer in glass bottles
Available in diet and regular that is excellent.
Call them for take out and twenty minutes later your pizza is ready.
The restaurant is nothing special- kind of like a plaoce to sit and eat your pizza.
Frank Pepes pizza in Fairfield has been a favorite since childhood. The tasty thin crust cut in strips instead of slices, and delicious sauce was something I looked forward to. However within the last year or two it has gone downhill and fast. I don't know if they are using cheaper ingredients but the flavor isn't what it used to be. Also being busy is a good thing... if you can keep up with it. Almost every time I go now the pizza is either undercooked or overcooked and several times recently they have gotten my order completely wrong. Its always super busy and it seems as though no one knows what's going on. Don't get me wrong the staff is friendly and helpful, its just the place isn't running smoothly as it should. Some or all of these things can be excused IF the pizzas weren't so overpriced! A single topping pizza could cost almost $40! I have gone back time and time again hoping things go back to how they were to no avail. Hopefully one day they can stop trying to squeeze profit out of every square inch they can and they go back to serving a quality product.
