I ordered bifocal glasses as a matter of urgency (mine were broken) after 7 days of no contact I am told they are in the post? How long does it take! I have used other companies and received within three days. I will certainly not use this company again

Poor quality lenses, poor workmanship, cheap frames. All made abroad most likely India. Also shipped from outside UK. Note; the UK address is only that an address it is not the companies actual address, check it out if you don't believe me there are many off-shore companies located at the same premises and more than one online glasses supplier too. Very slow at delivering anything with a high prescription. If they don't have the frame you ordered in stock they will make your glasses in whatever they can get hold of and send them to you! Yes they did that to me! Had to raise a Paypal claim.

Wish i had read the reviews before ordering. Rubbish frames glass not even fitted in frames, promptly returned them for a refund, they have emailed but now they seem to have misplaced my return. Will report them to trading standards but will forget about refund thank god i did not spend much, they also tried to get extra cash for so called complex prescription. Avoid this company at all costs.

Don t touch with a bargepole. Glasses plastic and lenses made to totally wrong Prescription. Could have harmed my eyes they were so bad. Sent back for refund or replacement glasses, as per my script, but now they can t trace them. Wanted the Mail Tracking no but I can t get the e mail reply to send. Have tried all ways. Weird. Only 1 E mail address, phone is answering machine and if you do get to speak to anyone, you ll have a language barrier.

My prescription had just changed slightly and I needed new sunglasses. The opticians tried very very hard to sell me £300 ones. Bought my glasses from here, they cost me £30! I thought I'd buy a cheap pair to see what they were like and they're better than perfect. I cannot recommend this company enough. They phoned if there was any kind of query and were extremely polite and helpful on the phone. They even phones after I'd had my glasses for a week to ask if I was happy with them. Great service, great sunglasses at a great price.

Not good, took 3 months to complete mu order. Lost one pair of glasses by their courier, didn't bother to tell me. Would not refund me, which i think must be against the sale of goods act. Said i had to order an alternative as they were no longer made, so i did, only to find out after a month that my prescription would not work with the glasses ordered. Eventually told them to send me any frame of their choice that would work. Glad i never have to deal with them ever again.

I can only agree with the other negative views on this site. The price increases the moment the order is placed, the so-called money back guarantee is effectively worthless, and the glasses less than perfect. They are far keener to take your money than solve the problems they create.

They may well be able to supply standard single vision lenses since that's all they guarantee, but there is no guarantee for anything more complex indicating they can't be sure of getting it right. If they mess it up as they did in my case you've lost your money. Distorted vision and aching eyes after ten minutes use seems to be their idea of perfect glasses. It's very much a gamble when you place your order, you may be lucky or you may end up with glasses that are unusable.

An update to the above. Glasses purchased from Asda with the same prescription and at a lower price, with perfect vision.

Buying glasses has always costed me a bomb as I have a high cylinder value. Until now I had to spend 250-300 quid, but Perfectglasses go this done for me in less that 85. They did not have -4.50 cylinder in the online option so I rang them an customer service was prompt enough to get me a quote and an alternate payment method of the extra 20 that they charged me for the high prescription. The glasses arrived in two weeks and can't find any fault in it. Now that I know the drill, I have placed another order and will highly recommend this company for the quality and price these guys offer.

I have had two pairs from them and delighted with both, semi rimless with all added extras like anti-reflective coating, anti-scratch, uv protection for £20.00 each. All the way through your order you are kept informed by text and email about what the status of your order is and if you have any questions they are quick to answer them. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as my experience with them has been total satisfaction. My two pairs I ordered were a great fit and i am over the moon with them. I will not buy from high street opticians again, give them a go it is worth the money. My local opticians take £25 for anti-reflective coating and as you can see i got glasses frames everything for £20 what a difference. I will definitely buy from them again.

I have over time come to realise what size & shape suits me it does help that PerfectGlasses shows all the info clearly to make the right choice. To get a good fit (which I did from PerfectGlasses) look on the inside of your old glasses arm, your correct size is printed there. I loved my glasses, good fit, good quality & about half the price I paid at a well known high street chain.

I have recently bought glasses from this company. In fact this was one of four pairs bought over the last couple of months. I must admit I initially found the process rather daunting, " what if the don't fit?" "what if the don't suit me?" all these things go through your head. Once you get going though the process is very simple. Loads of choice all at great prices and with plenty of options. If you have any queries you can give them a call and the can and will call you if they have any issues to deal with.
All in all they provide a service that I cant really fault. As I said earlier this was one of four pairs I bought and every one of them has been spot on.

I would recommend Perfect Glasses everytime

Ordered and paid for glasses end of February. Despite repeated phone calls to their London phone number, I still have no glasses. First reason given was lost in the post, that was one month ago. Promised to send another pair of glasses as priority urgent. Guess what I still have not received any glasses. Really poor service.

Perfect Glasses are a great place to buy good value for money glasses. They offer a quick service and there is no risk, if you do not like the product that arrives, you simply send it back for a full refund. I have used this company many times and I highly recommend this company.

The worst buying experience ever

Ordered a pair of glasses on May 17 for £121.95, paid via PayPal. Received a pair of incorrect, unusable ones with the wrong prescription on June 2. Immediately sent them back (using my own cash) and asked for my refund.

On June 18, PerfectGlasses offers either a refund of £36 as a "gesture of goodwill" or the glasses. Still chasing my refund, but going to try through PayPal now.

Anyway, avoid this company at all costs. Unacceptable experience and it's not worth the stress.

Update@ June 19,2014: Escalated my refund to a claim and PayPal has backed my claim and provided me a full refund. Good for PayPal! No thanks to PerfectGlasses. Avoid them!

Having been to the local optician and had my eyes tested I purchased one pair of general use specs (mainly because of the high prices). I saw an ad for PerfectGlasses.co.uk and took a look. I was so impressed with the range of glasses and prices I thought I'd try them out. Within a week my glasses arrived. Exactly as I had ordered and of the correct prescription at a fraction of the cost at High Street opticians. I will definitely be going back to this site in the future.

Very happy with my glasses. They took a time to arrive between the website claiming they were finished and actual receipt. When I phoned to enquire they were a bit vague, just saying that the glasses were in the dispatch phase. They could provide a better service if they had some form of detailed tracking, otherwise the natural inclination is that as a customer you start to think you will not see either your money or your glasses.

Fashionable glasses and excellent delivery service. I was given an accurate 1 hour time slot of when my glasses would arrive via text, which was extremely handy. Will definitely order again when I am in need of some new sunglasses!

I am so thrilled with my new sunglasses! The frames are gorgeous and they fit so comfortably. I love the design across the frames and they're so comfortable to wear. I was told approx 25 days for delivery but they actually came sooner which was brilliant. I look forward to taking these on holiday with me. I made sure the information I gave was correct and current by having an eye test done just before sending the information off. The glasses I ordered arrived really fast, within a weeks. The glasses were made exactly to my prescription and the price was less than half of what I would pay for the same at a high street. Having ordered reading glasses online in the past with less than brilliant results I decided to try and find an provider that was not just ok but GOOD (or better!) so I simultaneously ordered (same prescription) with Perfectglasses and one other previously untried. The glasses that arrived from Perfectglasses were absolutely perfect so much so that I have immediately ordered a second pair. Excellent!

I paid £98.95 for a pair of sunglasses, the refund is £74.69
They deduct £12 for lenses, £4.31 for the fee and i guess the rest is postal charges?

Basically they cost me £24.26 to return

Not happy, do not use this company, it took over 2 weeks for delivery, very poor service
