Awesome store they carry everything you could need for a large variety of animals. They also carry adoptions in store. Such as snakes, lizards, frogs, mice, hamsters, gerbils, birds, fish, cats and several other aminals. You can purchase your animal and all the thungs you need to take care of it all in one store.

I recently started an aquarium a five female betta fish, three different breeds of Bettas. I went to petsmart to get supplies, and things that were needed, and they had many choices for what I was looking for. An employee approached me and was so incredibly helpful, that I now have five happy healthy fish swimming around. I wish I could mention names, but she wasn't wearing her name tag, she said it had broken off. Anywho, the point of this is, petsmart is super helpful, and has many varieties for what you need.

I have been looking for a very small puppy but they usually have larger than I want. But there looking for me one. After I get back from Spain I will get one. The only thing about these places they usually has a Oder. Need to clean with a disenfectant

Awful experience at Petsmart Altamonte Florida. Bad attitude of the employees, they didn't honor their own sales and didn't care about what I was saying. And worst corporate customer service, after I sent them an email explaining the behavior of their employees and how they did not respect the sale they called me and offered me to send a can of food, I asked them to, please read my email and they never called me or sent me an email again. Way to go!. Of course I will never come back to any Petsmart again.

They constantly put lives on the line. They jeopardize their employees who get paid minimum wage to work with animals who may be sick, scared, or just leave feces everywhere and they let children and adults play in an environment covered in $#*! and piss and on somedays blood. Please don't take your animals here because they don't give two $#*!s about health and hygiene and your pet would be happier and safer going to a vet or legit groomer or just a nice rummage sale for what they need.

The stores are always clean, shelves stocked, help is available if you need it. I really am not crazy about people being able to bring their pets in, not all owners are responsible, training their dogs to behave. Especially owners of small yappy dogs, just because you can pick them up and carry them, put them in the cart, doesn't mean they shouldn't be trained. And all too often they aren't.

It is nice place to shop pets. I love cats and I order a persian cat. I got my sweet cat on time. It was difficult to my favorite color and finally I got that color by petsmart. You guys are realy very smart.

I took my 8 month old Shihtzu to petsmart to be groomed and bathed. My regular groomer was booked. I showed the groomer a pic of what I wanted my dog to look like; we agreed she needed a 1/2 inch cut. I told her to please cut all around the face very short too. She then said it would take 3 hrs... my mouth dropped open. My regular groomer has her done in one hour. So I left and came back when she was done- 2 hrs 15 min later. She looked AWFUL! Her body fur looked choppy and uneven. Plus def not cut to 1/2 inch. They trimmed her ears and looks like they didn't touch her face. It's all long and scraggly. She doesn't smell like she had a bath, but she's soft. I was charged almost $60, took over 2 hrs all for a totally crappy job. I will never take my dog back there for grooming and I will be telling everyone I know don't go there for grooming.

I go to the PetSmart in Onalaska, WI. Love going there and love to pet the other dogs that come in there to shop. Staff are generally pretty good and well educated but there was one clerk a few years ago that was nasty a lot of the time. Glad I don't see that one anymore around there. I like that they have a little place near building where the dogs can go potty during the visit to the store. That's convenient for the dogs. Mine usually has to go potty while there. Though I don't bring her in every time I go there if I just have to shop for dog food. I'll bring her in though if I shop for other stuff though if I don't want to do a quick run in and out of the building and I plan on staying for a bit. Love the layout of the store, nice staff, and always clean.

I ordered an item online on Cyber Monday. My order was received confirmed by email the same day. Then on Wednesday I received an email stating that the order was canceled with no explanation. I called and was told the item was out of stock. I checked online and the item was still presenting as available for order only at an increased price. ( this is the same day my order was canceled). I called again and was told that the item was available but I would now have to pay the increased price which is about $150.00 more than the price I was originally paying. I was told that a manager would call me back several hours ago. Still waiting. I this a bait and switch situation? I am very unhappy about this. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift! I will not order from them again!

Petsmart took full amt of my online order, but only 1/2 of order is assigned track number and email notice, no mention or record of other 1/2 of order, no tracking for it etc. yet cust. Svc emailing that it was already shipped and rec'd by me... LIES... and i can't even get online to look at my order info, their site has crashed and error message is all you get for a wk now. Can't even get a person on the phone to talk to! All I get are email replies that either have nothing to do with the issue (canned replies) or lies that 'it was shipped' yet no proof even that they sent the other 1/2 of order... plus no stock issue, because in all the stores, yet they aren't refunding the missing 1/2 of my order! I now have to file claims everywhere, and will NEVER use them again... If you don't want to lose your money and get ZERO PRODUCT in return, shop elsewhere!

Why would Pet Smart sell an aquarium with the starter kit inside with a filter and filter cartridge and not sell the replacement cartridges at the store. When you order online, you now have to pay a shipping charge. The filter cartridge in question is a Rite size-P. The aquarium is a marineland 3 g Nook aquarium kit.

I got a glofish beta and brought him home and he was fine that night we the next day all his fins were falling off and he couldn't swim right he was always laying in his side couldn't go up to the top of the tank so i thought about a bigger tank and a little friend to get him so i got him and bigger tank and a african claw frog and he still acted the same and he died about 3 and 1/2 days after i got him

Tip for consumers:
don’t ever get fish from petsmart because everyone i know who get fish from there die in a couple days

Went to the store on August 19th (2022), and the bearded dragons had NOTHING in their tank. No substrate, no hides, and not even a WATER BOWL. We called and apparently they were "cleaning the tank", but even when cleaning the tank you should have water (as it looked like they were in there for more than 30mins due to the amount of poop).
Also, they cohabitate their leopard geckos (which is very stressful for them), use reptile carpet (rips out the claws, and didn't even cover the entire tank floor), and their "advice" to care for leopard geckos was mostly incorrect. An employee said that 10 gallons is good for their whole life, very wrong! They need at least 20 gallons, and thats more surviving, not thriving. And said you could use almost anything for substrate, even saying that a T-shirt is good enough… A T-SHIRT.

All in all, please do not buy from this store. It only supports their horrible reptile care.

I used to buy crickets from then, never again because I do not want to support them.

Thanks Petsmar for your great servicei been bringing my pet dogs here often for his daily checkups, i am glad and feel happy with bringing my dogs here he gets well received and good care nice grooming. And all thier shots i buy their personal belongings and food here

I bought 6 fishes 3 years ago, 5 of them are still alive and huge! I never have to worry for diseases, I just bought a bigger aquarium because of the size of my fishes and I was worry to add more fishes, concern of diseases etc. it was no problem at all! Its been 2 months since! Prior I had aquiarium and when I bought one fish at a different store, all of my othe little fishes died even the algae eater!

This is a fortune 500 company. They offer a wide variety of products and services across the nation. But they don't know anything about the products they sell or the foods they sell. The vets in their banfield offices will only tell you that your pet should be on a perscription food that is over-priced and is lower quality that most other foods you can find (outside Petsmart) that work better and are higher quality ingredients for a cheaper price. Their hotels have one small room that all the dogs run around in. The floors aren't scrubbed, and are instead only hosed off. The rest of the time, they dogs are in crates in the back. The grooming salon is about the only great aspect of the whole store.

I know as I have shopped there before on many occasions! I am on their list! I have bought things foe my dog, my cats, my birds!
I have even had fish before! Their fish are nice and healthy. Their burds are healthy, They have a cat section too and they are healthy looking. Their puppies are nice too! They have so many items it's super amazing! A;; their products are good quality! Their prices are reasonable too! Their clerks are friendly and helpful!

I find the store in Corvallis oregon to be ver rude i ordered a tank online said it was available at that store and i could pick it up there so i called to make sure they had it i was told no they did not nut there was one in salem so okay that would have been fine but manager says that they wete not going to pay to ship it to there store from salem really rude attitude needles to say i frove to salem to get the tank i paid for and have decided i will not be shopping at petsmart anymore treating me like that shows they don't want my money

I needed koi fish food so I had to buy it at pet smart it was $30.00 with tax for a 1.32lb bag. When I was almost out I ordered from Chewy it cost $13.00 for a 2.25lb bag and that includes shipping. Unbelievable!

I ordered Friskies cans of cat food online and then picked up the order in the store in Houston off of Tidwell. When I got home, 6 of the cans were badly damaged. I called the store and they said the only way I could refund would be to bring the cans back to the store. The manager was rude and a total,$#*!. I told him I was not returning the items because it was not my fault. Those damaged cans should have never been on the shelf for sale to any customer. I asked for a refund and he refused! I am NEVER shopping at Petsmart again. This has happened to me in the past, always give the dented cans to online orders.

Tip for consumers:
Terrible return policy and never order anything online. Customer service absolutely sucks!

Free shipping on orders over a certain amount is a misleading joke, you think the order is coming Fedex you get a tracking number, arrival date and emails with fedex all over it. At the last minute you get an email from fedex saying the order will be a day or more later than they promised. I called Petsmart they sorry I called Fedex and finally they admitted that they are not bringing the order because smartpost means that they turn it over for delivery to the US Postal Service, what a misleading joke, stay away from both fedex and Petsmart

I ordered an acrylic aquarium that Petsmart's webiste indicated was in stock to replace a leaking aquarium. I would not have ordered the aquarium if I knew it would have to be built. After more than two weeks the aqurium has not shipped, Petsmart says they cannot cancel the order as it has been sent TO BE BUILT. No indication of when it will ship. Terrible customer service, will not shop with Petsmart again.

Bought from their free shipping sale, but it was only good for $100 max and it was hidden in their small print.
Failed to describe the weight of the dog food I bought, by looking at the price I thought it was 30lbs but it was actually 15lbs.
Too many tricks. Too many hidden restriction.
