“It looks like Photobucket has reworked their interface. I will give it 5 stars for now.”

Okay there was something seriously wrong with Photobucket. It was slow, clunky, and images kept disappearing and re-appearing. However, I contacted them and they told me to log into their new site. I did, and it looks much better and seems responsive enough. (My old rating was a 1 star, but I am editing it now to 5 stars because they obviously put in some effort to make this site work again)

If your not baby sitting it, it logs you out and resets, I had 8000 pictures it said I had 5000 left, then this morning it went back to 7500. People need to do better with these programs we live in a fast past society I should not have to state st my phone all day waiting for pictures to download. Such a waste of time I hate baby sitting

This site is absolute garbage... I have been (unfortunately) using this site for a few years for forums. (3rd party hosting) I upload pictures and then use their converter to upload it directly onto a forum post. Despite the absolute FLOOD of Ad's on their website and horribly sluggish speed to do anything, I still used their site just because it was the first site I happened to click on that offered this feature (many MANY better options out there now)... Now they have switched things up and kicked all of their users off that use their site for this feature. So now... its a super $#*!ty image sharing site that you have to pay for... Good luck with that business model... Have fun sliding down to the bottom of the barrel of image sharing sites... Whoever runs this place is a moron...

If you value your images, your time & your pc-
Don't use this site. I was hit with a barrage of
Malicious pop-ups on Photobucket & when I
Tried to download my albums, I got even more.
I deleted my account, but I lost all my images
Because the pop-ups prevented me from taking
Them with me.

Awful took me days to download 10 years for photos from various projects. I would never pay that 200$ a year for 3rd party hosting are you nuts? Thats is 150 dollars a year more than google drive and 200$ a year more than FLICKR, Adios Photobucket!

Worst hosting service ever. They have held my photos hostage for YEARS and refuse to let me download them without paying their fees. Even when I DID purchase their hosting services, I was still unable to download or move my photos and all of the promised "features" were horrible and half of them didn't work at all (analytics).

Thinking I was purchasing rights to 3rd party hosting for $59.99 I find out this is only for storage. Requested a refund - no such thing. STAY AWAY! Lots of other sites that do 3rd party hosting for FREE.

They suddenly not longer allow 3rd party embedding except when you pay a fortune. I was a paying customer for years, and suddenly I had to pay 15 times the amount to receive the same 'service'. I think not.

Listen, I've always known that Photoshop wasn't the greatest, but when I tried to use a picture on another site it just told me I need to upgrade for $399 PER YEAR just to use these pictures on other sites. This isn't image hosting, it's a scam. Besides that fact, the site is out of control with pop-up advertising that you constantly have to clear off your screen and is incredibly slow. Don't even bother, there are many other sites that are faster, less spammy and don't expect money out of your pockets just to host a picture.

Tip for consumers:
Don't.

After YEARS of being a free account customer they changed their storage limit. They also took away the ability to download your albums except for 1 photo at a time. My options are PAY to keep my photos there, Don't pay and loose the 300% of my photos that are over their new limit. I have over 1000 pictures there so downloading the 1 at a time is out of the question. EXTORTION is the only name that fits what they are doing. NO Stars it what they should be rated.

I have many students that rely on the images that I have uploaded to Photobucket. Now they want $400 for those students to be able to see my images. Infuriating. A lot of work and preparation went into these 3rd party websites on which I posted the images. That is a lot of time I can never get back. Avoid this website at all costs.

First it was a good free service that did what it was set to do, then later the site would never run because of so many ads, and then i couldn't see images in other sites anymore AND THEN now any and all images are blurry with this giant shameless watermark.

Honestly what's the point of this service if it's so anti-everyone except for people who give away money.

I wasn't too bothered about the 3rd party sharing thing..I just used it to back up photos, but after a catastrophic computer failure I now find I have to download images 1 at a time...WHY?
I'm also apparently over my free account threshold and have to download or delete- I will but it's going to take a while you muppets and no I'm not buying any of the $#*! that keeps popping up while I click select download select download select download....

Learned my lesson.

I've been with Photobucket for over a decade. They were a wonderful service for those of us with no web space but needed storage. It was great for adding our photo's to forums that didn't allow uploads. Since the great hostage take over of our accts. It's been nothing but threatening emails and one obstacle after another to get onto the site. After deleting many photos and showing my storage at 10% of my allotment, I still get email after email that I am locked out and over my limit. I finally managed to get onto the site and I have taken back my photos and deleted my acct. I was always well within my free storage guidelines before this debacle. They changed the rules and then told me I owed money if I ever wanted to see my pics again. Wrong. Bye Felicia.

When it first began, it was simple then gradually got more complicated, then forced videos on you and if you do not have or want shockwave on your pc you end up freezing lots of times. Just today it took over half an hour to upload a single photo and then after doing it I discovered the image wasn't appearing on a third party website. Then another discovery - I'd have to pay $400 per year to enable that. I understand the stock market is 4X overpriced and diligent investors who are compelled to short sell the big fat ugly bubble (in Trump's own words before he flip-flopped to destroy this country, see trump-fraud.blogspot.com) so that a FEW people are loaded with money on the backs of everyone else, but this $400 is way too high for most people to afford. I wouldn't even pay $10 per year for it.

Trust me - find another image hosting site. This one is going down.

Avoid photobucket. If you run a blog site or other site where you can have linked or embedded images, block photobucket. I never thought this was a great photo sharing site to begin with, but they did make it easy to upload and share, so I stuck with it despite the clunky interface and rampant ad-bloat. Suddenly I can no longer share. They apparently allow migration, but unless you want to pay a ransom you are stuck attempting to download albums one at a time through their downloader. It's slow, doesn't work half the time and requires numerous clicks through a captcha system each time. The only saving grace is that this new policy will likely put them out of business (as it should).

I have hundreds of pictures on Photobucket. I haven't been on it in a year or so because I began uploading my pics to my Google Drive instead. Today I logged on to Photobucket to move those pics to my Drive and not only is it impossible to do, there are NON STOP POP UP ADS no matter what I try to do! God forbid you change what you're working on, because several more tabs pop up, no matter what my internet settings say. Awful. Just... so so bad.

Yep- if the CEO-John Corpus- had any marketing skills- wouldn't have tried to do a money grab by blackmail right before they go OOB... What a rocket scientist-he put bombarding pop-ups that locked up anytime you tried to access your pictures and then trying to sell 'canvas" prints- are you kidding me?. If there was any signs of intelligence at Photobucket - they would have came out April 2nd with a REASONABLE $4.99/mo and maybe $9.99/mo if you went over a certain amount. But the damage is done- no turning back- would you trust sending them $400 -No way- as they will be OOB in less than 6 months. And left a lot of electronic waste- as so much information will be lost. Welcome to the electronic age...

A decade or so ago, Photobucket was one of the top image hosting sites to be anle to share images on various websites. Eventually they stopped allowing hosted image to be viewed outside of Photobucket'a website unless you paid money for a prwmoum account. Now they have even lowered the ampunt of free storage you get. I haven't uploaded to Photobucket in years yet I get regular emails now, saying I need to pay them money or delete my account as I am over my storage limit. They can delete it themselves if they're going to be so greedy.

My adblocker managed to block 253 ads and other Photobucket malware in 4 minutes. I just couldn't believe my eyes. This is beyond disgusting. I had a link from someone who was selling a car and had the photo album on Malwarebucket. It crashed my browser several times I had to add their website to my block list. Totally useless and malicious. Stay away! It was "okay" in 2015. Now it's just a piece of garbage. I'm sorry.

Several years ago when PB was still fine I got an account, uploading images. But for the last few years it got worse and worse. I haven't used Photobucket in years and nevetheless they send me mails claiming that my account exceeded bandwith, apparently in order to blackmail me into accepting to pay for the account, since it is impossible for me to have exceeded the bandwith when I haven't been using the account for a long I'm never going to use PB again.

ZERO STARS! They sent me one very poor quality canvas and two never arrived. The website states that they offer 100% Satisfaction. NO THEY DO NOT! Photobucket DOES NOT issue refunds. They are misleading and WILL NOT help you. I cannot express how much you need to walk away from this company!

I have signed up for the service for a full year (as they were offering a discount) mainly because they were advertising access to their API through the "developer" link on their website. When I contacted them to try and get the API key, they told me that they don't offer API. When I asked for refund, they said they don't offer refunds.

Interface is extremely buggy. Uploads don't work:
- Tested with a single mp4 video - failed
- Tested with a single image - success
- Tested with multiple images - 20% failed

If I could give it 0 stars, I would.
Don't buy!
