If you want to be talked down to and insulted by a group of physics nerds who seem more interested in thumping their chests about how much they know rather than engaging in productive discussion, this is the place for you! I posted a sincere question and subsequently faced a fusillade of replies that ranged from the knee-to-the-groin insulting to the smoothly-worded "tut-tut-little-boy" patronizing. There were some adult replies in there, to be fair. I would advise steering clear.
