We have been using Pilot to ship our line of children's furniture from our warehouse in NJ to stores and consumers throughout the US for several years. It has been a constant struggle. To put it into perspective, we have over 13% damage rates on our dressers.

The trust we've put into Pilot has not only cost us over $50,000 in actual damaged freight, the countless hours dealing with upset customers and Pilot's customer service, the cost of replacement merchandise and it's associated freight, but, more importantly, the damage to our brand's reputation exacerbated by social media.

Anyone reading this may be asking, why do we continue to use these guy. Because from my experience, all the national providers we've tried suck. So, Pilot, you're not alone.

Meanwhile, we continue to search for reliable, local, independent delivery companies in major markets who can do the job they're paid to do.

Don't use this company. Completely destroyed or antique desk in shipping. Have ignored our damage claim for over 120 days. Worst shipping company. No communication to us and nobody answers email or phone. And their delivery consisted of dumping in the alley behind our complex. They had guaranteed delivery into our unit. Despicable company. Beware!

2 weeks and still no product. I scheduled a delivery 4 times now. Had to stay home from work to sign and never showed. First time they say they could not find in the warehouse. Next, they forgot to load it on the truck. Next, they forgot again.
Look at the rating for this company. How is it still being used? Still waiting...

Placed an order for a television December 21,2020. Received a call today, January 12,: 2021, the day my wife took off of work for the delivery scheduled for sometime between 11am and 6pm. The caller simply said that the delivery would not be here and was handed off to another shipper. What the f... so now we have another week, among it a just days shy of a month for a delivery which started with an order at Sam's club of a TV. $#*!tiest delivery company I have had to deal with in the nearly 60 years of my life.

Tip for consumers:
Do not trust your deliveries to pilot

I had a 5 star experience with Pilot. However, I must admit a was a bit concerned after reading all the negative reviews. The company I purchased from provided me with the tracking number and I was able to track the shipment on my phone from pickup at the manufacturer to delivery. Updates on the website were frequent. Pilot provided a delivery window for the day of delivery and called prior to the delivery. I called them to find out the delivery status twice on the day of the delivery and was able to speak with an attentive rep. The delivery crew wheeled the product into my garage as requested. It was in perfect condition. No visible damage to the package or contents.

My shipment was shipped out of the Cleveland, Ohio region and delivered in the St. Paul, MN region. Checking the BBB and other online reviews, Pilot actually gets very good reviews in this area of the country.

This is a very horrible delivery company. Not only did they not deliver twice after setting up scheduled deliveries with them, but their driver also committed fraud by saying that I signed for the item. BEWARE!
I ordered a TV through Amazon and unfortunately Amazon had Pilot 'deliver' the TV. I scheduled a delivery date and time window for them to deliver the TV. They never called or showed. I had to reschedule another delivery date and time, and again they never call or delivered the item. Then a different day at 2:30pm (at a date and time that I did not schedule), I received an Amazon notification the item was delivered... at 6pm, but it was 2:30pm? I was at work and I live alone, so I don't know how they delivered it inside my house and set up the TV. Even worse they said that I signed for the delivery... which is fraud! S

Absolutely awful. Don't EVER use this company. They handle the stock deliveries for my company and every single week it's days late. We have weekly scheduled delivery for every Friday. In the last 2 years I can count on one hand the number of times we've actually received a delivery on Friday. We have it scheduled for Friday so that we can replenish stock for the weekend, which it's common knowledge that retail is busy on weekends. Every week it's the same excuse: Weather. Because that's the only excuse they're allowed to give that doesn't put responsibility for late shipments on them.

The delivery DRIVERS are another story. They don't know where they're going - they call every single time to ask for where the mall loading bay is, taking staff away from customers to deal with them. They call to say they've arrived at the mall, and then an hour later they're finally arriving at the store. They're rude to the staff, complain about having to unload the skid(s), they're careless with the boxes and damage them and often the product inside. They stack boxes 6 high with heavy boxes on top - It's all 5'ft short women that work here. We've had a driver come on to and harass one of our staff.

I cannot think of a worse company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST This company is the absolute worst! No alignment with Amazon at all. Trying to get a TV picked up has cost me literally thousands of dollars dealing with calls back and forth between Amazon and you. It's caused me to take 1/2 days off work and used up vacation time. I can't f&*(&$ing believe the mess created and how much it has cost me.

They picked up my package on December 6th didn't put in a transit to the 9th I was supposed to have it on the 11th and it's December 13th still no package they want me to do that job and call where the package is sitting they don't take responsibility of their mess up recording say there is such a great company that's a lie they get paid to do a job and they don't want to do it

They indicate a date and time of collection, they do not comply with that; I do not recommend them, they are lousy.
