“Pinchme has positives and negatives”

Sue R.
7/4/24

Without Pinchme, I wouldn't have tried half the products that they have made me aware of. With that said, I wish I had opportunity to earn more coins to qualify for more products, but half the offers listed have bad links that do not allow me to download the apps to earn extra points. Also, the listed links to earn points by taking surveys always leads to a message that I'm unqualified to take them, so they are a waste of time to click on to try to earn additional points. I do appreciate the opportunity to try different products however. One additional criticism I have is it takes forever sometimes to receive the products that you qualify to try. I'm talking months from the time you qualify to when you receive the box containing those products.

“Still waiting almost a year for the free box that was just sent.”

I was told that my free Pinchme sample boxes were mailed April 15 and January 13 2024. Still haven't got them. Maybe their being sent on a boat around the world and will take another 1 or 2 years. Such a fake place.

I've been on pinchme awhile and usually qualify and receive a few monthly samples but I still see how ridiculous the quizzes can be and usually dont waste my time. You may not even qualify for most quizzes, wasting time filling out 10 minutes of questions to find out you then dont. And 3000 points for a deluxe sample box? At 100 points for a 60 minute quiz, you will spend 30 hours, at least, trying to earn one of those boxes in a week. It doesnt take rocket science or some pompous 1000 word review calling everyone an idiot to see that pinch me is not for everyone, especially people with lives.

I've been a member for about 3 years. I used to always get good quality boxes, and early access almost every other month. For the past year, I've maybe qualified 4 times? And the quality of products has gone downhill. It seems like they want millenials based on wanting your Instagram info (which I don't have) and they want to follow you on other social sites. No thanks! And every day I get an email that I qualify for a bonus offer, but it's tied into some survey site or digital magazines. I'm pretty much done with them. I don't know what happened as I used to look forward to my monthly box.
I'll stick with SampleSource. They do quarterly boxes with nice products.

I too decided to try Pinch Me product reviews after it being recommended by a you tuber. I do like to try new products but it is frustrating to purchase many times only to end up throwing them out. This seemed like a good way to try things. I received my first box... only qualifying for 4 items. They are each a one day sample. Now how can anyone make any reviews on a product using it once!? Pinch me now has all MY personal info and what do I get... SCAMMED. I don't appreciate this or the fact that the You Tuber was duped into passing along the recommendation. VERY BAD PR!

Pinchme used to be a great sample sight until it became popular. If you have been with them for a long time you will not get samples. The few (if any) that appear for you to take will be "sold out" the second they become available. It is a waste of time and their claim that samples are now easier than ever to get is false. I'm only giving it two stars because it used to be so good.

Free Products to your door each week. What a bunch of Bull. So there samples that's cool & fine... But every week like their Promo Video states. I'm lucky to get stuff every few months. How can you be a Product reviewer site when you have no products to review. Oh and there offers are Junk & Crap. If you do find and offer you like I get "This Offer is Over" Arrrrgh. So frustrating. Pinch Me is a Dead Dog Don't Bother... If your looking for a Real Rewards Site go to Mypoints.com Been using them for years. You get Points for shopping & reading Emails. Cash the Points in for Real Gift Cards...

I've been a member of Pinch for a few years. At first it was a very nice site with stuffed sample boxes showing up monthly. Now it's gotten so big that customer service stinks and the samples that do come are pathetic. Surveys for points on their site also often malfunction and it's tough to earn enough to gain any rewards. They have all of these so-called bonus items but you have to sign up for all sorts of junk and it's tough to unsubscribe from anything. Pinch has really deteriorated and I spend little time on the site now. I suggest staying away from signing up for anything. You'll get spammed to death.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother with the bonus items. Scams.

Products used:
None in the past several months. They now send lots of one-use junky samples.

I absolutely love pinch me. I've been using it for a long time now and I always receive free products and product samples in exchange for my honest review. This site is great and I never miss my sample Tuesday. :)

I won a Super Deluxe box yesterday for completing 200 (3,000 tokens) surveys. Instead of getting a box worth of $50, I received a box full of samples (not worth any Retail value because they are sample sizes) and 3-4 full sized items. If I stretched the dollar amount, it MIGHT have been worth maybe $20. Disappointed. I would rather complete surveys on other sites and actually get gift cards/cash. Not worth your time. And, it almost seems as though the top Quizme people are computers. Nobody can get 1,000 tokens in an hour. C'mon.

They don't even send full size samples. Sent me a teeny tiny box with about 4 samples two months after I joined, one of which was a microscopic, incredibly small sample of Haribo gummy bears. For such a tiny bag these people expected me to fill out a review for the gummy bears on Target.com, Walmart.com, and Walgreens.com. You've got to be kidding me! You don't even send me a full size sample and expect me to go to the trouble to write a paragraph review on THREE different websites? No way! This place never has any samples available, not even on their big "Sample Tuesday". None of the samples are even truly free, you have to sign up for some website or download a stupid app for everything, and it just isn't worth the effort for a fun size piece of candy or a singular band-aid... huge bait and switch website. I'm done with pinch.me after this! I honestly expected better. It's nothing but another scam.

Amazing that no one talks about how invasive the QwizMe surveys are. First question is your ethnicity. Second question is your income. People are really OK with sending this very personal information into the Great Computer in the Sky that shares everything and never forgets?

As for the PinchMe sample boxes, you can get them without filling in the QwizMe surveys. The boxes have become more frequent lately. Some time ago, before the days of QwizMe, there was a long period in which no one seemed to ever qualify for a sample box.

I received first samples quickly. The second set was held up because of stock issues, but I received it after a couple of months. Third set of samples were shipped a few days ago so I'm sure they will arrive soon. Overall I am happy with PINCHme.

At the beginning of each month you get an email showing different samples you'll be able to choose from for your box. The first 2 months you qualify for a lot of samples but only get to choose a few. You then have to wait a month to get your sample box. After the second month you qualify for less and less, even if there's something shown in the email review of what you could get that you should qualify for (ex: I have 2 older dogs with joint problems, they showed a sample for dog treats to help with joints. On Facebook people comment that they qualified for it but I didn't qualify). I've been a member since January and haven't qualified for any samples since March, even though I filled out all the surveys I was told to. I give this site one star because they promise samples but give you none.

It requires you to do to much to get points and it'll have you answer 5+ questions before telling you the survey isn't for you. I currently have 5 boxes I've order since last month and I think only one has said it's been put out for delivery so I guess you can say scam!

PinchMe has not followed thru with even 5% of what they offer. In 4 years I have received a tiny package of Haribo gummy bears & a single packet of a mayonnaise sample to review. I have done tons of surveys & questionnaires. I've gotten a prepaid Visa card & had direct deposit set up on it & still have not received even one gift card of any amount. I'll keep devouring my time to Inbox Dollars cuz I've gotten numerous gift cards from them. Good Bye PinchMe

When I first joined PinchMe.com I was getting regular samples almost every month minus a few here and there. Then all of a sudden for months at a time I was getting the message "Member profile doesn't meet the criteria" or some bs like that. Funny how this month it was diaper rash cream and things I should have qualified for, but didn't. I'll be canceling my account. Sometimes you get stuff you ordered and sometimes it never shows up. When you contact them, they tell you if your samples don't make it to you, then basically sucks to be you because they don't keep enough in their warehouse to replace what you never got. I'll be deleting my account for sure.

The surveys ruined pinch me... nobody has time to be taking these surveys literally ALL day ALL week ALL hours of the day. They make it impossible to even get the points because 99.9% of the surveys you can't even finish them to begin with. So many things changed with this site for the worst... take my advice and don't do it to yourself. You are welcome.

I was getting samples and then I got to one where it was a speciality sample for some makeup brushes. I went down and did the home chef offer to receive the brushes but it never let get the brushes. I wrote them in an email and they said they will investigate it and it's been almost 2 weeks. I gave up on it and feel like they're scammers

I received a box the first few months after I signed up bit for the past six months or so the site states I'm not matched with anything. Even though, when I look through the current samples, my profile matches with everything available! When I was receiving samples, all I ever received was samples of pet food and tea ( which was not on my profile!). The past several months I have not been eligible for samples but my inbox has been loaded with emails from them stating if I go and complete these surveys or sign up for this or that, I can get samples or win things. Turned into a complete SCAM!

I tried to sign up with my e mail address that I have been successfully using since 2004, and the Pinchme geniuses wouldn't let me sign up claiming "email address invalid". Now their representatives, who cannot spell and possess incredibly poor grammar skills, keep pestering me via my e mail address that they, themselves claimed is invalid. They are obviously a scam that is fishing for people's personal information to sell to other companies.

I have been a PinchMe member for a few years now and I used to love the samples. Now though, It's become just another sample site, where you get nothing but spam emails when you select one of their "partner" sites. Not liking their partner sites one bit. I signed up for one and now I get nothing but weird emails for strange products - had to send it to my spam folder. I really am disappointed in this new format. It's not about always getting a box, but having to select inappropriate sites in order to receive something is just not my thing. Sorry, PinchMe... not impressed.

What a scam and waste of time. They get all kinds of info from you, over and over, then say you don't qualify for any polls or surveys and therefore don't qualify for the free sample boxes. C'mon! I'm middle aged with grown kids, have house and cars paid off, so have a lot of disposible income SOMEONE should be trying to figure out how I'll spend. Don't waste your time. The copious poor reviews say it all.

I really like PinchMe because it is a real website where you can actually receive free samples in the mail. You won't receive a box of free samples every month but the sample boxes are awesome when you do receive them and again, completely free. You don't even have to pay for shipping! I highly recommend PinchMe for all your free samples.

Tip for consumers:
PinchMe is a great website to get always free samples as well as free shipping.

Products used:
I've been mailed samples of face masks, shampoo and conditioner, hair masks, different great quality makeup, different face and body cleansers, etc.

In the beginning I was happy with this site. Nowadays I dont qualify for anything and I know I fit the profile. Other times I am qualified for samples I dont want or need. They have a certain way they want you to review the product. It is very hard to leave a good review. I would not bother with this website and Im about to just write them off.

I signed up less than a week ago and all of a sudden I am getting TONS of robocalls. I'm on the do not call list but these calls are coming through. It's no coincidence that this started right after I signed up with Pinchme. Ridiculous. Now I have to try to find out how to block these calls.
