Ordered lobster tails on pinterest Christmas 23. Never heard a damn thing. Money was taken 2 days after ordering from my bank account. Still to this day 3/7/24 haven't heard a goddamn thing and yes I am pissed. Pinterest seems to be a place where criminals can play their games. Pinterest needs to do alot better at policing their website. In my book pinterest sucks real bad!
Lots of teaching and helpful articles are available in the site that can improve ones way of seeing the world. What am trying to say is that the site/business sparks the creativity hidden inside ones mind. It help make your hobbies your talents and If you are finding it difficult to choose what your to go for being around the site help you come to a decision. Believe the site is worth checking out...
I've been unsubscribing from this page about 3 weeks in a row and I get notifications every day! Every other I kept unsubscribing, but I keep getting them anyways, which made me think that this is Scammer Page. It never became a drag to unsubscribe from any mail sent to me! I think you can do better, unless you guys are actually scammers. Next email will be to the Better Business Bureau.
I HATE it. If you do a basic google/Bing search for DIY or what every you need, a darn Pinterest link is bound to show up. So you click on the link it takes you to Pinterest but doesn't show you what you clicked on. Instead hundreds of similar other crap appears making you waste time looking for what you need. Then when you find it and click on the picture, it takes you on yet another goose chase! After spending an hour search... I gave up went back to me original search from google, saved the picture and did a image search. Took me right to where I needed to go.
My notification light is always lit, showing me what people I don't even know have pinned. Yet my family and close friends... nothing. I takes me DAYS to find things they've sent me. Make it easier to find that! And give me the freedom to turn off notifications for certain people.
I used to love Pinterest. That was when I had control over my designs and my order, i. E. putting boards in a series. Suddenly they were all over the place and made no sense. They won't stay in the places I put them and instantly flip back to the random and ugly design of some thoughtless programmer.
It's a great site I enjoy it. Problem is my old hacked account still remains from years ago and I can't do anything about it. I was using it one day and then one day I logged and found new boards of something random to do with health. I tried to delete them and nothing. I mailed Pinterest and then I was unable to ever log back in for some strange reason. I really want that account gone!
Things are disappearing from my boards. Then when I go to search them it says it's saved to my board - but I've scoured it up and down three times over and I know it's not there! If I try to save something to a board from a different site, I get the spinning pinwheel of death. I'll leave it up for about 30 minutes trying to decide if it wants to save it or not, and then end up just closing it out of sheer frustration. Guess I didn't need that recipe that bad, right? Lastly I understand needing ads, I'm a marketer myself. However, when it overtakes my feed and there's no content I originally wanted there, it's not doing your consumers any good. The whole point of Pinterest is seeing content you want, not what others decide you want.
Pinterest needs to clean house and check the companies allowed to advertise. The entire app is cluttered with scammer retailers. Just read the reviews for over 90% of clothing shown on pinterest and everyone has lost money. How are people finding these scammy retailers with websites that are here today and gone tomorrow? Look no further than the pics on pinterest linking them.
You log in with you age and gender and they just assume what people of a certain age wants as a 26 year old who enjoys anime and cartoons it annoyed me to see that there was no category for my age and gender, people are different we don't have to he entitled to what we like based on our age and gender.
P.s. Apparently a category for 26 year old females is quotes and poetry, really?!, no offense to people who do enjoy these things sorry.
I used to love Pinterest... spent way too much time on it looking for great ideas! Well thankfully Pinterest cured me of that with their constant "picked for you"! Pinterest tells you that you can change what you see in your settings. True... you can change it but it does NOT do anything!
Why does Pinterest and every other interesting site have to keep messing with the technology until it becomes useless. I just wanted a recipe, but now all I can see is all of my past searches and I cannot even open one site to pin if I wanted to. The review showing is correct, Pinterest is now as frustrating as everything else on the web. I tried to complain on their site and got no response at all. Too bad techs come with so much ego. My email is *******@gmail, com
Looking at Pinterest used to be a nice relaxing way to spend a few extra moments during the day. Adding up those moments have turned into hours of browsing through the Pinterest magazine of wonderful ideas. It was fun to see what others were thinking about my pins and what they were pinning. Now, it seems it is all about money! Ads! Unpleasant ads! Nails and skin care. The kind of ads that were found in the back pages of magazines years ago. You can't even hide them anymore. The site is an unorganized mess and does not make me want to spend my few extra moments to even look at it anymore. It is visually unappealing. It seems that even the colors are off. For many of us this was a hobby and a place to collect and store our wishes and things of interest. Now it is like going to a hoarders mess and trying to pick out and save something of value. Please bring back the creative people that used to make Pinterest a fun place to browse.
I went to logon to Pintrest this evening and was directed to provide how I identify my gender. Could not exit the page without completing, which I did not do. The reason stated was to improve my browsing experience. Unacceptable, who do they share this info with and what's the real reason they collect this data? Will never use Pintrest again. I feel it's an invasion of my privacy when this line of questioning is not a voluntary request.
I used to like Pinterest. I saved cute images, I loved DIY ideas I found there, and the best part about it was that I didn't need to browse tons of websites to find ideas for handmade jewelry or home decorations. Now everything changed! Pinterest is just a database of links with images attached to them!
Another part is emails. Pinterest sends pin suggestions in emails. Those suggestions are not clickable and I have no clue how to find them on Pinterest. Plus, they are way off: they never ever guessed what I might like plus they keep sending the same pins over and over.
I've been trying to contact Pinterest customer services for weeks & they are extremely slow to respond (if they respond at all). I've been unable to create pins for weeks & have done everything they suggested (cleared cache, re-downloaded app, etc.) & nothing has worked. I've followed up multiple times and have gotten no help at all. Pretty disappointing & may just delete the app since I cant use for my personal business.
Love this site. I'm a digital hoarder so I rarely go back and actually use the great material/information I gain, but ONE DAY!
It's a great place to get and share ideas. Very visually stimulating.
I shoulda thought of this...*sigh*
This companies computer systems are fatally flawed. You sign up using an email address. But if you move and no longer use that IP your email address changes. Then if you forget your password, well you cannot reset it because your email is no longer valid. Customer service, which is email based only cannot assist you. With computer systems this poor, do not expect privacy, data hacks or that your information is being sold without your knowledge.
I keep contacting Pinterest about my account and they keep giving me the run around. I was using Pinterest for my business and suddenly I stopped getting notifications. I need those notifications to see what products get pinned. I'm so not happy with this company! I'm going to switch to Instagram. How hard is it to fix my notifications?!
Your site allows scam companies from China like Jullymart, Banggood, Jude Dress, and Berrylook to operate on their site. If you read the reviews on these companies on Trustpilot you would see the terrible reviews. These companies sell inferior goods, the clothes do not represent the pictures on line, the material is not what they claim and nothing fits... they will not refund money paid. It seems Pintrest is not interested in screening scam companies from advertising on their site. I now do not use Pinterest any longer as they are consumer friendly. REMOVE all scam companies from your site and you will have more followers.
I decided to order a pair of sandals on your site. The advertised site name was pickufab. This site has dozens of other site names as well. So, I finally got my order only to find it's a cheap Chinese knock-off. I will learn from this because I'm now out money because of this. How can you not check your advertisers and product sellers? I am a low-income senior and can't afford to lose this amount of money on cheap crap. I trusted your site—silly me. I would take a picture of product but I don't know how to send it to you.
Be careful of the advertised sellers on pintrest.
Tip for consumers:
Not a true representation of the products that are shown. You get a cheap Chinese knockoff.

Sandals
Create a category and start pinning everything interesting that falls into it for you. Its just that simple. Save just a beatiful photo, or a great design you might use later when you got some spare money. The only thing you need an invite to join =/
1 year since I use it. The main attribute is inspiration, speially for travel. You just go from board to board and can spend hours. I find it much nicer that posting on Facebook.
Plus, I found many small tips & tricks for day to day life!
Honestly I used to get excited and spent hours and hours on here. But with so many changes its difficult to see who likes the pins, my number of pins gone, nothing new except a lot of advertising. So disappointed. This was my life - haha that's sad but true. I can hardly get on there now. Why did they mess with a great thing?
Horrible company. As an account member and LLC business owner that's an accredited business with the BBB (A) rating. They have zero ways to communicate or to be contacted. Rejected my application for being a verified merchant. Even though I complied with absolutely everything. They didn't give a single reason why even though my competitors with horrible reputations and business practices are already verified. Guess they only like fake junk companies like themselves.
I've used pinterest for years and it just suddenly starts deleting my recipes? Recipes I've used since 2015? I knew I should've written it down and I might as well not use the site at all in that case. Wasted an hour looking for my own posts.
