Hi Everyone... I was curious if i am the only one who's account suddenly have gotten suspended and then deleted... I hadn't been on my Pinterest account as often as i used to.The day before my posting here i tried to login to my account. Then all of a sudden i get an email saying that my account is suspended... I had my Pinterest account for quite a few years. This is the attachment i received in an email: Margo (Pinterest Support)

We consider Spam any content that's fraudulent or deceptive. Saving large amounts of unwanted or repetitive Pins, posting unsolicited commercial messages in comments/descriptions, or trying to artificially boost views/Pins/comments or other metrics isn't allowed. Unfortunately, we won't be reactivating your account.

This is all nothing but lies and then when i was trying to reply back to another representative he agreed with her... I like everyone have saved info that pertains to their interests and hobbies. I hope their dumb actions will make people to leave in droves and the site gets shut down... If i knew that i would be dealing with this i would have never started an account.

Pinterest removed the feature where you can see more pins related to the specific one you clicked on. Now, the just show ads and business products completely unrelated to what I had clicked

I really like Pinterest mostly for all the great information you can gather on there. It is a great place to store your interests and like to go back to when you want to see them for any reason.

Pinterest site shows ads from UltimeDeals and Hofeet London. Just read their reviews on Trust Pilot. I don't think you will order from them. I did and lost money but learned a good lesson.

Hi, I have been on pinterest for while and this was my first time for a update and it deleted everyone of my pin's even my wedding pin. Is it any way I can get my pins back? I'm really MAD

Pinterest used to be a great site to go for original ideas. Like decorating ideas. It's 99% advertising anymore. Just a shopping catalog. Never use it anymore, it's full of junk

I joined Pinterest about a year ago and i think it's pretty cool! You can have as many folders you want and save whatever you like! I use it to manage ideas and stuff i might use later.

I keep receiving emails from these people which I have never requested and do not want. I have tried to unsubscribe on several occasions and surprise surprise their unsubscribe button doesn't unsubscribe. I would very much like them to refrain from sending them. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PRODUCTS.

I had 10,000 followers, had 200,000 posts, been on Pinterest since 2008. I got blocked for a complaint of posting nudity, when I first started. The picture I actually posted was of Michaelangelo. I did not consider that nudity, since it was a famous statue and you could just walk through and look at it. This I explained, and they reactivated my account. BTW, this was a post someone else posted, I reposted. Friday, I got a msg from Pinterest saying my account had been suspended for SPAM. I stated my case that I had never posted spam that I knew of. Could they tell me what I posted? They sent me back a msg, telling me after review they were not going to reactivate my account because most of my posts were spam. This is not true. I even complained years ago about all the posts that lead to something to buy, or lead you to nonexistent websites. They told me to just quit following those individuals? I only reposted, posts that I liked. If some got through I guess, I did not know that they were spam. Anyway, I lost everything, all my followers, all my posts 8 to 10 years of posts. No recourse, blocked for good, can't open a new account. I am between devastated and angry. They wont even work with you, talk to you, or see if someone maybe hacked your account. Anyone else run into this issue?

I normally keep folders of cool images anyway, but now I have an organized way to save them and a lot of different ways to save them, wherever I am.

Why has pinterest turned into a porn site? First you could report the porn. Now pinterest only allows you to block the person. Beware of allowing your kids to use this site.

Every time I do a product search, Pinterest shows up and wants me to sign in. If you don't want to shares without signing in, don't show up in the search engines!

Horrible layout... short on info, big on ads. Not even recognizable as the app I used to LOVE. WIll have to find somewhere else to go for the info and ideas I used to get there. Boo!

Every updates makes it worse, it used to be so enjoyable, now it is littered with ads, you can't comment, and it constantly makes annoying recommendations. It thoroughly sucks now, don't bother.

I'm constantly looking at the same ads no matter what I search. Why can people block you if you give their ads a negative response but you can't block out the ads?

Horrible customer service. They made a mistake, want me to pay again and when I refused to pay again, they hung up the phone on me and then blocked my number.

I like the old app better, at the top it had different tabs that you could pick, now you don't have those options and the pictures seem to be duplicates, you had more options to look at from old app.

Pinterest does not adhere to your business' policies, it will make policies that help criminals scam you. Pinterest will tell you what words you can use and what words you cannot use. If a word is very important to help customers find your product, too bad Pinterest rules over you. You had better be rich enough to buy whatever products Pinterest thinks you should buy, not the products you, the expert choose. You cannot have a product go out of stock. Remember, you are not self employed, Pinterest is your boss and will call the shots about how you spend your money. Better be prepared to hire a professional photographer too. Pinterest will criticize your photography and tell you that you are not good enough for their platform while allowing others to post distasteful images and other stuff that is downright wrong. You can write an "About Me" page on your website that is unique and comes from your heart, but Pinterest will make slanderous accusations that you plagiarized that page even when that would be impossible. Last but not least, after you worked hours daily for five years to build your engagements to over 5 million a month, Pinterest will crush those numbers down to a trickle unless you pay through the teeth for mafia style protection disguised as "advertising".

The con to it is that the first time users it can be confusing but once you get the hang of it everything becomes easier. The purpose of this website is to show off things you have found on the Internet for others to use. I would most definitely recommend this website to a friend.

This site shows up far too often when I am online looking for things and is generally useless, requires an account to use and is generally just annyoing and in the way of waht I want. Not happy.

Random advertising all over my feed... Pinterest used to be so wonderful. A platform for sharing art and creativity... Now just an advertisement board
