“Lobster tales christmas 23”

Jeffrey M.
3/7/24

Ordered lobster tails on pinterest Christmas 23. Never heard a damn thing. Money was taken 2 days after ordering from my bank account. Still to this day 3/7/24 haven't heard a goddamn thing and yes I am pissed. Pinterest seems to be a place where criminals can play their games. Pinterest needs to do alot better at policing their website. In my book pinterest sucks real bad!

Over several weeks and through multiple requests, I still have not been able to have resolved a technical problem with removing personal data from Pinterest.

The company has absolutely no way to contact them except via web, and they seem to be either completely incompetent or completely uncaring.

I suggest not putting ANYTHING on pinterest that you might EVER want to remove from the Internet. They offer no way for me to delete the data, and they are unresponsive to my multiple (at least five) requests over three weeks.

My only recourse is to file a law suit against them and hope that maybe then they will get the message that I want my personal data removed.

Pinterest was such an amazing site, now the ads placed in the middle of your image search are so annoying and distracting and so obvious.
It has completely ruined it.
Looking for the newest best image search... hate Pinterest now. Please anyone... suggest an alternative.

Pinterest is a site for collecting cool things you've found online and sharing it with friends. It is similar to Tumblr, but it allows you to organize the things you like into sections or boards. There is a feed from your follows, feeds for all the different categories, and a feed from the most popular from all users of Pinterest. Anything can be pinned - categories range from home or weddings to food and fashion. You can personalize your boards to be anything you want, and they're always there to look at later. With the amount of everything on the site, it is incredibly organized, and that's probably my favorite thing about it. And of course, it has a ton of great ideas and is a lot of fun.

I find Pinterest a great site for pics for any occasion but a lot of the merchants on this site have very low trust scores. Not a safe site to order items from. I highly recommend you vet all merchants to assure you are buying from a reputable site. Trust Pilot is a great source.

I got the worst virus/malware on their site looking at home decor. I did not click on anything except someone's site. I immediately shut down the computer when the screen didn't show what was supposed to be there. When I turned the computer back on I had the FBI virus and lost the use of the computer for 2 days to have the computer people take the virus off. I contacted Pinterest and told them to check my usage history and they would know where the infection came from. They didn't even bother to respond other than an auto mailer. Beware of this site. One click and you will be paying money to get your computer back!

Pinterest, you seriously need to change the way you have your little "rearrange boards" feature set up on desktop. Everytime I go to change my boards around, it's like I play a little Nancy Drew puzzle, where the board I just moved SWAPS with another one. Are 3 year olds coding this website?

This was a great app where I could get great ideas from people. Now it's all ads. Tired of people always trying to sell me stuff. I can go to Etsy if I want to buy something. I'm a crafter looking for inspiration

I use to love Pinterest! Now it seems too overpopulated with the same posts over and over. The most frustrating thing now I'd just trying to get to a recipe once you find one! Many times the "jump to recipe" isn't there or it is still so over ran with ads and pop ups and I can't stand it any longer!

Worthless to me now!

What really bothers me is that I rarely see what other people I actually follow are pinning. I follow them for a reason. I don't like that if I search for something specific, the next time I'm on that's all that comes up. I already got what I was looking for. The nice thing about seeing who I follow is that it gave more variety of pins. No more suggestions, I don't like them.

Pinterest is now fascist & insane. They have closed multiple accounts of anyone who even questions mainstream "allopathic" (sick care) medicine, vaccine choice, alternative or holistic approaches to disease, etc. They have stripped users ("pinners") of their basic rights of freedom of thought, freedom of sharing ideas and information, and freedom to express grievances of censorship. Their narrowly defined content-based restrictions infringe on our basic First Amendment rights. They boldly censor us under the absurd guise of protecting us from fake news and misinformation'. This is just crazy. I am closing my Pinterest account in protest and outrage. I refuse to be censored. We have the power over social platforms. I strongly suggest you exercise your rights of freedom of thought, ideas, and sharing on the internet, before all rights are removed from you: Close your Pinterest account & write a review explaining that you refuse to be censored. It's really that simple.

For the past few months I have engaged in a useless struggle to fix two problems
1. I cannot send a pin to my group
2. Pins show 8 comments, but there are no comments, I post a comment and comment count is still 8 comments. Later my comment is gone. Messages from Pin group that they have commented on such and such pin, there are no comments.

Instructions from Pinterest complicated, went to Apple, paid $175.00 for trouble shooting, and told this is@ Pinterest, contact Customer Service. More repeat instructions.

So we did some research, since I cannot send a pin, sent messages to a group, go to All Pins and see first pin. There are 7 comments, non visible. I placed a comment, can you add a comment, let me know if you can see my comment? Comment count increased by five, comment count remains@ 7, I can see none of their comments, and they cannot see mine. They also cannot see the 7 reported comments.

Pinterest facilitates a website with stolen photos. If you click on a photo and save it (also on pinterest). Are you being accused of copyright?
It is a site where people exhibit stolen photos from the internet.
Not recommended.

You cannot ID a pin on your feed unless you open. Is it one of their numerous ads or from your favorite pinners? And the 3 dots don't show up to act on the pin. Another greedy sneaky motive to up the # of "hits" to report to Pinterest advertisers. Their subscribers are just useful idiots to them

Been on Pinterest off and on for years. Just got back on and am totally disgusted with all the advertising. They might as well just post advertising and forget the subject matter.
Everytime I click on a recipe there is so much advertising it overlaps the the recipe.
Totally disgusted with this platform.

So for starters everything on Pinterest is very misleading. But what gets me the most is the stuff sold on Pinterest or advertised on Pinterest. I have recently bought two items that I have seen on Pinterest. One was a hair straightener for men's beards and on the advertisement they showed Men grooming their beards with this straightener and their hair coming out extremely straight. Well it will straighten your hair but it gets extremely hot you cannot put it on your face the way they advertise you will burn. Second was a RC tractor it was advertised as fully Functional. The thing does not even want to drive on a flat surface it has no power and also it is not fully functional. It only goes back-and-forth now I could get an RC car from Walmart that goes back-and-forth for around $10 I paid $35 for this POS that I bought through advertisement on Pinterest. For this reason I will be deleting Pinterest.

I had collected what was probably thousands of pins over the years with hundreds of followers. I loved pinterest! Then, I decided to organize my pins using the new sub-boards. I also upgraded my account to a business account. I was copying pins to sub-boards with the intent of removing the old ones, and Pinterest closed my account... with NO warning. The only explanation I received was that most of my pins were spam (not true at all) or that I posted something inappropriately. Vague responses, no warning, and all is lost.

Every new account I make is immediately suspended. The first time I clicked on the email they sent so they could check it out. I'd only had a chance to pin one quote about being valuable and they kicked me out. It's been a couple of weeks and still no one has gotten back to me so I decided to create a new account thinking maybe that didn't go through and again immediately after I pinned a quote and a picture that wasn't anything against their guidelines they suspended that account except this time when I was sent the email and tried to click on it, it said access to their site was denied. So, I've signed up to iheartit.com thinking Pinterest has been hacked or something.

I use this app for my business and to get inspired with creative ideas. I have used the app for years. Now I am experiencing it by using it for my online store and I am very excited to see what type of results I get from using Pinterest.

Tip for consumers:
use this app to get ideas. I find it very helpful. To have what you are looking for all on the one platform makes life easy.

Pinterest spreading like a virus and looks like cancer that will erode freedom for content on the public domain. Many images are not even legally owned by the website yet still being controlled due to their users interest alone. This website is building by WEB USER INTEREST in images and seems it is trying to monopolize all images and control the web by its control over images due to blocking unregistered viewers. In a google search i must opt out (-pinterest) to avoid the images from this site since it then blocks your viewing after 30seconds unless registering for that site. Once registered they send overload of images much like spam to your email to increase "Interest" for more claim over the images. This site should be boycotted to save the web as public domain and free to all.

What happened? All of a sudden the view of the pins has changed. The view of my boards has changed and when I am going through boards and moving stuff around it doesn't go back to the board you were at, it goes to the top of your boards and you have to scroll down to where you were. Even the Save button has been put on the other side of the pin. What is up with that. When I first open Pinterest to see new pins, it is showing pins I have already pinned sometimes 2 and 3 times. This is not an improvement.

I have been with Pinterest for a year and worked hard on my boards about my life and things a would want to and accomplish. My account has been suspended and I took account of the policies and tried my best to make sure I was in guide lines. They nail in the coffin was last pin I know I did not pin. I have been suspicious about some pins that where inappropriate and some I have never seen. There are peoples board that a dedicated to porn nudity both men an women. But unfortunately I did report them as someone did to me? On a privat for my eyes only board In no way shape or form where my boards inappropriate. All I have planned for my family and future its pretty much dead, thanks so much for ruining my life and time. I just wanted account back. There is never a thing as being to careful. RUINED

I like Pinterest because it's easy to organize stuff. However, I find the content being catered to females more especially the health and fitness. I think it's a great site and I enjoy being on it. I just wished there were more male views on the site.
