“Lobster tales christmas 23”

Jeffrey M.
3/7/24

Ordered lobster tails on pinterest Christmas 23. Never heard a damn thing. Money was taken 2 days after ordering from my bank account. Still to this day 3/7/24 haven't heard a goddamn thing and yes I am pissed. Pinterest seems to be a place where criminals can play their games. Pinterest needs to do alot better at policing their website. In my book pinterest sucks real bad!

If you haven't figured it out. It's pretty damn annoying to try to view one picture for one second before your stupid web people auto scroll to the next page or up and down. Is this supposed to millienial cool? How about just plain jackass stupid!

I used to truly love pinterest, and would spend hours on it. But now, all my descriptions are gone. And the page is so jumbled looking that you can't focus or tell where one pin starts and the next ends. It is a visual MESS!

Please bring back the Pinterest that I love!

I absolutely love Pinterest but get very frustrated if I have to walk away from my phone and come back and it always reloads so I lose what I was looking forward to pinning previously. How do I stop this from happening. There should be an option to reload new pins or continue scrolling down the pins that are already loaded.

Pinterest is misleading. They charged me for 1 ad for a year on a product I only gave them trial authorization to use. Then insist on keeping my money I never reinitiated these charges but each time I reposted the photos with the same title they charged, 50, 25, 35, etc. Do not trust them since I started they sent 3 emails that look just like their constant junk mail. They charged me over $150 for a shirt advertisment that they knew was not connected with an active Etsy account

Tip for consumers:
Do not use pinterest for advertisment

I was a Pinterest evangelist. I got so many users signed up on their app I should have been paid. But no longer. First it was ads. So everyone understands a few ads but they have made it into ads on every scroll line. Then they started inserting random "picked for you pins" with a poorly designed algorithm. Then they blacklisted many websites because they believe in censorship. And now, on top of all of that, they have made their platform almost completely useless by taking away titles and descriptions from pins. Pins don't make sense anymore without descriptions to explain them. Who runs these changes at Pinterest? Who approves them? It's no wonder that they've lost millions in the last quarter... they don't listen to their user base! Here's some million $$ advice for you Pinterest. Get a consumer advisory board made up of REAL LIFE users and run changes by them. Someone will unthrone this company soon if they don't become more user friendly.

So I've been interested in aesthetic lately, but all the pics I could get are on pinterest, which, by the way, has just about a million ads, so I decided to create an account and it was pretty nice, and THEN after 10 minutes, I could not get in! My account has apparently been suspended. I emailed them twice. The first time, they sent me an email back saying (quote) Oof! It looks like your message didn't go through. This usually happens if it's been awhile since we've heard from you, or if your original question was closed. Sorry about that!
Well it has only been about 5 minutes! So I re-emailed them, because I was interested in the account. I have not gotten an email back and, reading the reviews, I don't think I will. Great while it lasted, which was about 10 minutes.

At first, I won't lie. I thought Pinterest was only for icing topped snacks and roasted Brussels Sprouts Recipes. I had no interest in knitting projects and to be honest, I didn't see many guys on the site.

Not that I can't hang with the ladies, but I thought there was a reason most users were women. After a while, I found books and reading boards that I liked to follow. Then designers. Then after that, if started following some wood workers and got some ideas and tips for furniture making.

The site helped me start planning the remodel of my backyard... and I indirectly got into a bit of gardening! Don't find the app as usfeul as the site, but it's a great site!

Tip for consumers:
*If you don't proactively follow the people that you are interseted in, you won't have much in your feed.
*Follow more people. Or better yet, follow boards because you might not like everything one person posts.
*Unfolloow boards or people that you feel are 'mucking up' your experience. It makes a world of a difference with your experience.

As i'm sure most people have noticed now, pinterest has been kicking people out for not having businesses, a once free community, now only for people that have a business and money. They are kicking people out and claiming it as "inappropriate pins" or "copyright" that no one can help. Scandals are becoming stronger now about their rise in money, please business owners don't use pinterest. And for those that want to show the world the pictures, memes, gifs, or inspirational works, please find a way to do so.

I used to LOVE Pinterest. I got all of my ideas, healthy recipes, and school lunches from them, but one day while I was just sliding through Pinterest, they suspended me for nothing! It sent me a gmail saying, "You have been suspended for 7 days because you broke our spam policy." What even is a spam?!? Any way bottom line is Pinterest has good ideas and valuable things, but is all that worth being suspended/ spammed? Also they need to stop suspending people for things they didn't do. My advice, avoid Pinterest and just get Google.

I used to use Pinterest all of this month, but after getting a copyright claim, I decided to close my account. Why? Because I found out on another site that people who make pins on Pinterest basically steal art from websites like deviantArt and even images from Wikis. Also, the site will literally spam you with images you may not want to see, and on two occasions, I have come across some disgusting images that I reported. This is not a social media site worth using, especially since it's full of stolen art and images.

I just closed my Pinterest account, which I used to enjoy, because of all the swearing in the comments by disrespectful and inconsiderate people who don't think about anyone else. I then emailed Pinterest to ask them to disable the comments feature as it's a big negative. I am hoping that other people will do the same to get the message through to Pinterest.

Attempted to log in and denied due to cancellation of account. No explanation given. Was told explanation would be sent via email. No explanation received. I know one might think that porno was pinned, but nothing like this was ever pinned. Still have no idea why account was cancelled nor was I given any opportunity to appeal. This could just be an error but am not even allowed to ask.

Every other day Pinterest stops loading and shows the error/no internet screen from the laptop, and VPN is needed to use the app smoothly on phones too. I shouldn't have to reiterate as to why this is incredibly infuriating. Please work on your servers, Pinterest used to work completely fine just months back- and ps: no it's not my internet that's the problem.

I used to love Pinterest, but I have to say I'm really starting to hate it. The pop-up advertisements are taking over and really making my experience unenjoyable. Ads which cover the majority of the photos or blogs, which take forever to load and freeze the page, and not just one time, but multiple times on the same article or blog. It's out of control. Do an unobtrusive side bar, if you must, that doesn't freeze the page or make it load slowly and let us get back to enjoying your site.

Pinterest has started scrambling my board's, so I have stayed off. I don't have an easy answer for anyone having this problem. Year's ago Pinterest was fantastic, you could message friend's, they would tell you when someone liked your Board's,You could arrange your board's the way you liked.I do think that because of the constant porn they took a tough stance and have gone a little too far the other way.Just my opinion. To the lady having this problem, I would just boycott them alltogether until they change back.

Try it for whatever interests you the most in life, in the world of Things. Cars, artwork. Best feature is quick save of most things you see on the internet so you have instant photofile.
My SOLE complaint, they do send you suggested pins you might like every day, but I often find something there that I DO like. I find it invaluable, and have only some thousand images on my "boards" so far. A really deep-end artist could spend days seeking and finding inspiration. And, no, i do not own stock, am not an employee or agent--just use it and LIKE it.

Pinterest used to fun, but then they bombarded us with promoted pins and sponsored content and now I see more of those pins than I do from people that I follow. On top of that, they've removed a pin that I had on a secret board of a model in daisy dukes and a cowboy hat because it was supposedly too adult, even though she was fully clothed (and remember this was on a secret board anyway). Nevermind the fact that that secret board has plenty of provocative photos pinned on it, but none of those were removed. It's my conclusion that they've removed it because she was wearing a cowboy hat and they are discriminating against that culture.

Was good a few years ago. Then they started messing with the format, saturating it with useless ads that don't match any of my interests and locking accounts. Got tired of contacting customer support with no response. Awful. No wonder they're losing subscribers and scrambling to monetize it. Was a good idea which is now poorly executed.

A great idea with atrocious execution. Never seen anything that should be so simple and straight-forward FUBAR'ED ($#*!ed Up Beyond All Recogintion) so badly. Want to create a board and put some pictures on it? Too bad for you! THAT'S going to require a tutorial. The morons that made this website obviously don't know the meaning of 'intuitive': the Number 1 requirement for any website, ever. Since 1999. If people need instructions on how to use your site, you $#*!ed up.

Tip for consumers:
Dont bother, unless you're just messing around. This website is NOT for any serious work or project.

I opened an account several years ago because a search engine sent me to a Pinterest site and I was required to open an account to view it. I have rarely gone back to Pinterest and really do not see any value in it. Now that I have learned how they manipulate searches to drive traffic to push the companies political and cultural values, I have deleted my account. I encourage all users and advertisers to stop doing business with this mockery to free speech and opinion.

I have noticed that it is becoming very political (both sides). And it seems like every3 pins I go to are no longer there; or even nothing to do with what was pictured.

I reviewed the Pinterest terms when I signed up and re-reviewed them after receiving a notice of suspension. I have many personal and business ideas pinned that I am suddenly unable to access. Rather than some form of summary suspension, it would be courteous to be contacted about the potential concerns to see if suspension is warranted first. I find it insulting to be suspended without notice or specific reason. If this is going to be a practice, then I have little reason to participate in this community.
