Planet Fitness does not notify you about anything regarding upcoming withdraws from your account. I froze my planet fitness for 3 months due to medical reasons and the virus. I did not receive any reminder about it ending (as 2020 has already been difficult for me and everyone else to worry about a gym charging your account without courtesy) and was charged. My medical conditions have not changed nor the virus so I still am not comfortable going to the gym. Also, they did not remind me that it was time for my annual fee and charged my account. It is a scam. I would totally stay with Planet Fitness if they didn't charge me so much during this time because its hard enough. I expected decency at least to do so and think about others or at least pretend.
I am a very positive person, But Planet Fitness has the most ridiculous policy when you open account or when closing account. Also, a fee was taken out of my account and I can not get a reasonable reason as to why. Will not recommend at all. And they need to hire friendly people.
Live your life as you see fit. Love who you love. With that being said, I don't want to see biological men in the women's locker room. I was told that this is allowed under Planet fitness policy. I'm out!
Please Please Please DO NOT FALL for the oaky doke. You will NEVER be able to cancel your membership so that means it's a forceful contract. You will be forced to pay, I advise you all to never sign up nor give them your accurate card information because you will be another victim as to who's paying planet fitness business to stay open. You will see money disappear but will not know where it's going to. They actually hacks into your bank account. $25.54 was taken after I canceled my membership but it's steady taking this every month and a $10 late fee if you don't pay member or not
I am a member at Planet Fitness in Belmont, NC and have been for 4 years. Since joining, there have been app. 5 managers to work there. The manager and assistant manager they now have is a joke. I addressed the manager with a disturbing issue and he discussed it with his assistant manager who happened to know the girl I made the complaint against. Now only did she lie and convince him that nothing should be done, but she also repeated the conversation back to the member I has complained about which stirred up animosity. She made a joke out of it. This shows me how unqualified this girl is to be working there, let alone be an assistant manager. She needs either to be trained or fired. No one in a position like that should be allowed to create tension for the members. Maybe if she was to be suspended for a month it would give her time to reflect on her poor management skills.
I'm very disappointed in planet fitness. I signed up for a membership in 2021. I attended once, had a medical issue and left my local establishment. I never went back, as their records would show. I wanted to cancel my membership and tried to do so multiple times through emails, trying to find a phone number to call to speak with someone, with no response, ever. As far as I could see, their website never stated that you had to go in person to cancel a membership until recently. So, over the course of two years, they have had multiple successful payments, and I'm out 333.02 cents for a service I never used, and feeling like I had no direct help. I had my bank dispute the charges and it was denied. In conclusion, I feel extremely cheated by this company for not having better customer service to assist people wanting to cancel or to even consider this service was never used and they just took my funds. Please have better customer service.
I joined the P.F. In Warsaw, In. It is clean and safe and was quite happy. Then the news channels were changed to reflect a more conservative view. I asked for the old channel back and was told there had been a complaint and the district manager would not change. I feel this is complete b.s. And that as a 70 year old woman, I can make decisions about what news I watch.
A new early am worker ( young black girl) is very polite always up front and never have to search for her. She keeps everyone thing very clean. The tanning bed and booths including the rooms are very clean

My husband received a call from this 3rd party collection agency telling him he had to pay for his membership which we sent an email through the PF website and called our local gym nearby with no return call or email response according to their voice mail recording we would receive. Our State Governor ordered a stay at home lock down and made it very clear that businesses should not be charging for membership fees. I let them know that if they want me to take them to the Attorney Generals office and report them, they have another thing coming.
Answer: They charge your card without knowing. Then don't refund it. Even also they will damage your credit rating. What a disappointment.
Answer: They come to work with a chip on their shoulder. They do not acknowledge that clients make their business. Instead,they belittle clients to try to cut clients down to their size. They are neurotic and mean and,of course, unprofessional.
