Quite the game a long time and wanted to get back. The site made it easy with a toon at just 50 bucks and it had all the skills I needed.
Amazing and super worth it!

Thanks a lot for sharing the positive experience you had; I'm glad you were able to find the account you liked, Twix.
Don't do it. Find another way to mediate it on your own. The buyer took the items off of the account I sold then claimed I recovered the account in order to get his refund. Despite sending loads of evidence to Playerauctions to show that I had transferred the account and ingame mails to show that he had done in-game activities even after he claimed he had no account access, I had to wait a week per reply from Playerauctions to simply have them pester me to let them conclude the deal in his favor.
Not only didn't get the payment, but spent almost a month maintaining an account that by all rights and promises by Playerauctions should be the buyer's, and I ended up losing money due to the buyer using up items, such as my APEX.
The Live Chat CS reps are nice and respond quickly. Any email systems are dreadful, and if there's any problems with your order, that's what it turns into. They ended up contacting me from two different email addresses as well as an online ticketing system. I answered the first one, they would message me from the second saying I had not answered them. I answered the second, they did the same from the third.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it unless you plan on scamming someone, either a buyer or seller. Despite their claims of PlayerGuard making this an easy and safe transaction, what it comes down to is your word versus the buyer/seller, and if you're like me and was selling as account, during this time you lose precious time and money which you probably won't even get the payoff for.
Photos so you can see how stupidly one-sided this "mediation" was.

Welcome back to the site, Evi! Thank you so much for this.
I wish I could rate lower than 1!
This site is based in China and have noticed many similar reviews to what I experienced! I bought a knife (CS: GO) for $200.00 and I escalated the item to their higher up so they could make the final decision as the seller had scammed me. The customer service chat kept saying to wait 2 days because they told the mediation team to reply. After 1 week, I myself contacted the team and no reply. However, when I opened a case through PayPal against PA, they immediately responded through email. Then I started complaining and they suspended me of their site! BEWARE! I have a strong feeling they are helping sellers scam customers on the site. I had been scammed there $10 before and they had done nothing! Also this is a very big warning that the seller does not receive any money! PlayerAuctions keep it on hold till we clarify delivery and it clearly shows they just took out money as the seller can't keep and I don't have the ability to take my money back unless I report to paypal! Shows how big of a scam they are! So basically anyone who opens a case will be ignored and they will keep the money! This happened to me with $10. However if a seller refunds you, then its good as I did buy one other which i didn't like and the seller accepted refund. PlayerAuctions = SCAM!

I tried to buy a clash Royale account I uploaded all documents they asked me for and because my bf made the player auction account and I was the one paying they canceled my order … instead of just asking him for same documentation so wasted my time and money now I have to wait 5 days for a refund because of there stupidity I understand "risk management" as I have ran e-commerce stores but there customer service is trash and there rude take your money else where to epic or player up avoid this site it's toxic

Hello Micah,
I'm sorry but we cannot accept your payment. The PlayerAuctions and payment accounts have mismatched names and this can be construed as fraud. We do not know if the payment being made is fully authorized so we declined the payment and processed a refund for you.
Take note that our agents were polite and expressed in detail why the payment was declined. We have copies of your message being rude to our agents and upon closer inspection your account attempted to extort unauthorized payment from the buyer via PayPal last May 6,2021.
Regards,
Richard
Sold an account for 65 USD. The owner confirmed that he got the account but the player auctions staff said he didn't. And refunded him his money
- Never use this site Pure crap

Absolutely legit. I love the benefit of being able to buy something while having peace of mind that I can question or complain if something is wrong. This is how you do it!

Thank you so much for the kind words, Nicholas! Very happy to hear about this. :)
Very nice and simple website to conduct trades between players, have not had a problem to which if I did there are safety measures to this.
As good as a marketplace can be.
Tip for consumers:
Look at reviews of the seller, this is a marketplace afterall with less restrictions on the items so there are possible scammers but thats not on the company that runs this website however they do offer safety measures against this.

Thank you so much for the nice and kind review, Callum. We encourage users to view user feedback so they will be guided when it comes to which sellers to pick for offers; thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts on that! Have a good weekend soon!
Fast and reliable delivery every time, and the prices are fair as well. I've used gold sites for years and none of them felt this secure or reliable, items are always in stock.

Great site in general, their site provides simplicity for the service they provide, From my personal experience I highly suggest this site to whoever is interested in buying gold for any game +1

The site so far looks legit. They handled a refund case and I promptly got a refund in 2 days. Not the best first deal but I'm glad they came through for me.

Thank you for the trust and kind feedback; happy to know about the decision made for your case, Chaison.
Great site, fast results. Have had many good transactions over the years and was burned once. Nature of the business alas. Use them a lot for accounts and krono in the game Everquest.

I hate writing reviews but felt like i needed to warn people. I paid for a account to find out they wanted all of my personal information. (this should be a headliner when buying something like "we need this info etc, BEFORE you remove the money.") By personal i mean a pic of your ID, a pic of you in that ID, a pic of your credit card, and last a pic of your bank statement. (I'm not buying a car, but a digital account for a game) this much information can be used to prove they are you... BUT they say to trust them, but in turn wont trust you by answering a simple question. This started throwing red flags when two people was reviewing my account. (how do i know that one person let alone two are gonna handle my information safely, and not for what they want? You provide no info on these people or if they are even vetted properly before they touch my info. For all i know they volunteer to do this. Not saying they all are bad, but it only takes one to ruin your life with that type of info.) i have pics of my account but after i took some pics i deleted my account so who knows if i will ever get a refund(i will if i have to get my bank involved). Just my opinion before you remove the money from an account finish your verification first, or your just doing the one thing you say your trying to avoid (fraud, because your still taking the money before you verify). I had all of the info but decided it was too much of a risk so i refused to send it. Don't just take my word for this i mean read other reviews with the same thing (seems they pop up a lot) Will update after i receive a refund.

Hi Lin,
First off, please don't worry, your refund will be processed automatically and in full.
Secondly, for the payment, we sincerely apologize if you did not like how our agents are asking you for it but we need those to authenticate your identity as the real owner of the payment account being used. As a company that receives and processes payments, we put this process as an ethical obligation to ensure any payment accounts being used on the site are correctly used by their legit owners and to avoid theft or fraud.
If you're not comfortable sending those to us, rest assured that we always process a full and automatic refund, but this takes 2-5 business days. Kindly note that we do not actually receive your money. The refunding process just reverses the hold placed on your money and is cleared back by your payment provider. We offer Coinbase as an alternative if you wish to pay without having to send us documents.
Best regards,
Richard
Ngl things lookin a bit sus with them askin IDs but after doin that didnt get no extra charges and it was just right. Account was right on as promised in the offer the trade was extra

Thank you very much for the incredibly kind review for us, Patrick! :)
Purchased a couple CS: GO skins and although it took some time to straighten out the trade (i don't trust the robots) support eventually helped me get the skins i had record for, and for that I will get a 5 star review.

Hello Jacob. Thank you so much for the kind and detailed review! Steam's bots are prone to hiccups sometimes, but it's what our support team is there for. Very happy to hear that your issue was resolved! :)
I bought an expensive item for pubg ( i know right) and the seller failed to send the item however playerauctions still took the payment and claimed it as delivered. I sent many help requests and even messaged the seller personally. I received no help and the seller just ignored me. AVOID THIS WEBSITE

Hi there, Dan,
We have been monitoring your case since we have sent you a PM here, and we were able to see that you've acknowledged receiving the item that was sent by our staff. I'm really happy to hear that this has been resolved for you. In case we missed anything or if you need further help, please do not hesitate to write back here.
Kind regards,
Richard
Seller states that the gold was delivered, I dispute it because no gold was delivered. We both provide our evidence. Mine was solid, video evidence of the entire event. I even refresh the message page many times while recording and you see his message "Be there in 5 minutes" pop up, then 15 minutes later, all of which is recorded, a second message "Gold delivered, please confirm." There was no trade and I had it recorded. Player auctions decided the seller was legit based off of MY EVIDENCE. They scammed me, BEWARE OF PLAYERAUCTIONS.

The site, Playerauctions.com is by far the most secure and reliable site I have ever used to conduct virtual goods transactions. However, the account setup, credit card and telephone vetting, and the secure banking vetting interfaces are very clunky and confusing to use. On my first order attempt, I was redirected multiple times and had to re-enter banking information multiple times. I had thought I was at the end of my ordering process several times, just to be redirected to another form of vetting and or verification. I wonder if the site could direct you to a simple step-by-step list BEFORE bouncing you from page to page while you are wondering if you had done something incorrectly, and for the simple fact of being aware of what you needed to do / provide. Customers making their first order are greeted with nothing that explains to them what they need to do to totally complete the vetting process. Other than that slight hiccup, the site was wonderfully thorough, and the service fast(post vetting). I would feel confident in directing friends and associates to use this website, but I will be sure to warn them of the confusing and never ending vetting process.

Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback, Andrei!
This is the #1 place for buying any and all of the items that you need in game to be able to fully enjoy your favorite games. I've been several dozen purchases on this site for different MMO's and ARPG's that I play and I've never had any issues (that weren't resolved by playerauctions in the end) on the site or in-game with sellers. Definitely a site that you can trust, and definitely a site that I recommend.

I bought an item and then it showed Payment pending for a while and the money was pulled from my bank account while it was still pending, even the seller told me he did not receive anything, so I had to cancel the payment and wait 5 days for the money to come back and try again later, after 5 days it happened again so I had to cancel again no surprise I have to wait again for 5 days. I tried another credit card this time the bank was on the phone call with me while I was buying this item; the bank approved the payment went through even the bank said that everything on my side is fine now just wait until the website takes the money, it sticks at pending payment for 3 hours, then finally boom " Payment Failed" and they took the money as well, so I had to call my bank and they said the money is through because the bank approved but the website didn't claim it so now its stuck again and I have to wait 5 days again. Contact support is probably the worst thing, they take 3-5 days to reply and they replied with the same message twice even though I have explained what happened it was like talking to a robot. Here's Pictures for proof

Hello Eden,
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience with this. Our system has to verify credit card, GooglePay, and Skrill payments. The orders are queued and will have to be taken cared of by an agent where they need to verify information to establish ownership of the account. Other times, the payment will straight up be declined if security issues are found with it, such as mismatched names or information. There is nothing wrong with your card and the payment is indeed being processed correctly from their end. However, if we are unable to verify the payment or if we decline it, the funds are sent back to you automatically as a refund.
We recommend cryptocurrency if this is your case becaus crypto that does not require verification as it's already a stored wallet payment. Rest assured, you will be fully refunded on this by next week; I'm sorry for the inconvenience you had.
Best,
Richard
PlayerAuctions runs a marketplace for buying and selling characters, virtual goods and virtual currency from massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).
PlayerAuctions was started in 1999 by a group of gamers in the states. It was one of the first player to player marketplaces around, becoming a famous hub for earlier games such as Ultima, Diablo 2, and Everquest. It survived on a small scale for years and grew entirely organically through word of mouth, until PlayerAuctions was acquired by Itemmania in Korea.
Being rebuilt from the ground up with proprietary risk management systems, and investment meant to provide a stronger support network for gamers, PlayerAuctions was re-launched in 2008 with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Korea. Since that time, PlayerAuctions has supported hundreds of games and activities within the wider gaming industry.
At the end of 2013 underwent a structure change to a Product structure which has shifted development focus to an agile development system which resulted in many product expansions in 2014 including Gaming Accessories, CD Key Sales, Cosplay, Trading Cards, and Software Downloads. PlayerAuctions also opened a new support center in Manila 2014 to directly manage and control the quality of services rendered to its users.
Thanks a lot for sharing the smooth and quick process you had, Billy.
