Not really my first time and though TBH the first payment was inconvenient the next ones were much faster and maybe because I bought from the same seller. I can definitely recommend them.

We're sorry about not having PayPal; it was removed years ago due to security considerations.
Thank you so much for the positive review, Bryan!
The power level service was correctly done. The service provider followed instructions and completed it in time (an hour later but it's nitpicking at this point). Outstanding service and I love it.

Thanks a lot for the order confirmation about the service you had, Georgie! Hope you enjoy your freshly leveled account. :)

Thank you so much for this, Keith. We're happy to know everything went well. Happy gaming!
I have been to a lot of "trading" sites. This one is by FAR the BEST. I felt very safe and secure the whole way through and got EXACTLY what I wanted. I'm so glad I found this. <*******

Great place to find some of the best prices for RMT. Not only that, it is also one of the most safest places to also do business. Highly reccommended.

Acc filtering needs improvement, but otherwise the UI is nice and navigation is easy. The checkout process is also a breeze. Only complaint I have is no option for PayPal, but GPay isn't too bad.
Tip for consumers:
There's a ~5% fee on purchases

Thank you for the kind rating and for the valuable inputs, Matthew. We always let our tech/website team know about feedback, so thanks again. :)
I recently tried to sell a game account on playerauctions. Firstly they wanted photo ID, my address (basically enough info to attempt an identity theft) which I obliged, and now really regret.
A buyer bought my game account and as per playerauctions policy they inspected it first (or so they claimed) to make sure everything was in order. The buyer, ransacked my account, sold everything off, sold off my characters and destroyed everything I had acquired, then disputed the sale, claiming I did not deliver. I provided huge amounts of evidence in the form of screenshots, logs, message exchanges etc and pointed out with 100% proof that the buyer was scamming me. The buyer then changed his story (which the evidence also countered 100%) but playerauctions keep running me in circles for weeks on end,
3 weeks now of canned responses and 'please wait' emails. Their customer support in non-existent - they've simply enabled some guy to rob me and now their giving me the stonewall where I get a reply from them once every week with some generic 'please wait' one liner response from customer support.
Do not deal with these guys. Despite the threat of identity theft if you're a seller, the will not protect you from being scammed or ripped off. They will largely ignore you if you run into a problem at all. It takes weeks to get a reply off them and that reply is always a brush off or stonewall.
Avoid at all costs!

Hello again, Gianluca,
As with my reply to you on TrustPilot, the reason your case was declined is because our team received insufficient evidence; the screenshots do not incriminate your seller and the email change could have been initiated by anyone — including you. Moreover, we found out that you neve used the 72-hour grace period/inspection time; this is provided to ALL buyers to fully inspect and take ownership of the account, and allows buyers to find flaws and issues with the order. If any disputes are raised during this time, we will require the seller to fix the issue and if no resolution is provided by him/her, you CAN ask for a refund. I'm afraid after only 4 hours, you already accepted the order and it was treated as "successful" by our system.
Under these circumstances, it was only fair for us to decide the case in favor of your seller. Please write back to your ticket thread with us if you have more questions or concerns, Gianluca.
Best regards,
Richard
So i'm writing my next review for this website. Same situation again, website is great but terrible support. After i sold one of my account, the buyer accused me in cheating (that i used hacks to level up the account) AFTER he played on it. So i had 4 month of gameplay by myself and after my customer played the game on it account got banned. I gave solid facts to the website support that i have never hacked but instead they made refund to the buyer who definitely used some programs to get game advantage on his computer and got banned. After that i sent two messages via their contact us function and got TWO same robotic messages with the same content from two agents (probably scripted). So as a seller i do not reccomend this website because buyers can scam you like that everytime and you can do nothing about it. In addition he kept my account which is supposed at least to be refunded to me.
Here's my old review:
The website itself is a great instrument to both buy and sell. However as a seller i'm having a huge problem with disbursements. The support is awful because they simply can't answer for a trouble ticket on their support page for 2.5 weeks and my money is on hold because of that. My playerauction nickname is pinkguyelite
Date of experience: July 12, 2017
Hi pinkguyelite,
Thank you for providing your name and the feedback. I'll be happy to check the status of your disbursements for you but in order to do that, may you please provide me the order ID via private message?
Looking forward to your response!

They Decilned the payment i was always using. And after a week i got my money back but not the whol -20% because transaction. This is a Big Scam. Dont buy anithing there

Hello Didier,
We looked into your order and found out that the full amount was successfully refunded to you. If there were any deductions, it was due to because of Skrill/MoneyBooker's handling fee --- this amount is not with us, and is most certainly not in the 20% range which is too big. Please get in touch with support@playerauctions.zendesk.com if you have more questions or concerns.
Best,
Richard
I purchased an OSRS account for $229 as it was fully quested and was sold my a seller I have dealed with in the past. When I attempted to purchase the account with card, I was declined and when I contacted my card company, they said there was nothing stoping me from purchasing from the website. So I decided to pay using gocoin as I had enough in bitcoin to purchase the account. After sending the bitcoin, it still shows that the payment is pending, and the only option it gives is to pay again. The bitcoin already left my wallet and I have the screenshots showing it was sent to their wallet address. I emailed all of this to support and nothing has been done, Only reply I got was to cancel the order. Which I did and I have yet to get my bitcoin back. I have msged support 2 more times with no reply.

Hello there, Kyle,
I'm sorry about the hassle; rest assured that you will get your refund, and I'll make sure of that. It's possible that the time lapsed during verification of your BTC payment.
I wrote to you on ticket 305846, could you please reply back there with the BTC address? I'll forward it to our finance team so the funds can be sent back to you ASAP. I look forward to your reply there, Kyle.
Best regards,
Richard
This site used to be good in the past, however, the payment verification process has gotten out of hand. All payments are required to be "verified," which requires pictures of your bank statement (they can't be cropped, meaning you must show all your personal purchases), pictures of your bank card (which requires digital editing to remove personal information), and additional pictures of yourself and your ID.
Honestly, the whole verification process is VERY risky and requires buyers to potentially send sensitive information over email.
Not only that, but they VERY often reject your verification due to random issues (I don't want to send a non cropped photo of my bank statement - which contains personal information nobody should send over email. I provided a bank statement which includes my name and the purchase from PlayerAuctions, but apparently this wasn't sufficient).
I've made a purchase from this website in the past and got accepted through the verification process after emailing back and forth for more than 3 days, however, they require you to go through this process AGAIN even if you had made a purchase in the past.
I have money taken from my account, but am unable to contact them in order to receive a refund. My order is stuck in Payment Verification and there is no option to cancel it.
Date of experience: January 2, 2021
Hello Michael,
Thank you for taking the time to explain the whole situation and I apologize for the inconveniences you've experienced. I was able to check and the reason you are being asked for the verification this time again is because our system spotted multiple accounts/logins from your location. As policy, we can only allow 1 account per user/household, so the verification data is being collected as a way to compare that with the other login data we're receiving.
The reason we also have this is because we need to step up our efforts to combat the rising trends in fraud; we are sorry for the hassle it's causing, but we only aim to verify payments correctly and validate the user identities behind them.
Your canceled payment is scheduled for a refund already, it was already voided when you placed and canceled the order. This processing time is with payment providers, not PlayerAuctions, but rest assured this is an automatic process. Please feel free to contact your provider to expedite this.
Thank you for your time with us, Michael. Please use the Q&A form here in SiteJabber if you have more questions you'd like to ask.
Best regards,
Richard
I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU CHOOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH
AVOID AVOID AVOID SCAMMERS GALORE AND SUPPORT DO NOT HELP
I have used a seller with 4000+ reviews and paid for the order they finished about 20% of it and then transfered/scammed/hacked my items/gold OSRS took over 250M gp/items.
Now the support staff are just totally ignoring me to 3 days and nothing has to be the worst experience ever, not I am left at my favorite time to play the game with all my stuff gone.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hello Antony,
We have received your other review and I am acknowledging again that we have received your emails. You still need to file a dispute for this by going to the exact order page and clicking Dispute — that is the official way to launch complaints. Disputes/deliberations take several days to weeks and nothing has happened to your case yet. You have been harassing our accounts with complaints of "scammers" and you want to force a decision for your concern, which we cannot do, I'm afraid, because we still have to consider the feedback and welfare of your seller.
Kindly note that you are buying from another user on our site who we still need to get in touch with so we can properly and fairly resolve this matter.
Regards,
Richard
I have been carefully comparing and they seem to have the cheapest but note that if you only buy 100m and up. They have a discount if you increase the amount which is pretty good.

Thank you very much for the positive feedback, Caleb. Yes, this is the bulk purchase feature and sellers may provide discounts for this. Glad you were able to use this!
Insaw a review once made for a seller named goldpl. I followed it and true enough he seems to be one of the good ones on the site. Order came through nicely and guy was very good to talk to.

Thank you very much for the kind feedback, Lito. Please don't forget to give feedback for your seller as well on the site, if you could. I'm sure they would love it. :)
I bough an account, the seller receive the money, then the ORIGINAL OWNER of the account recovered, and that is because the seller was selling hacked / stealed account.
Then, when i ask for a refund, the playerauctions support team start to ignore me, and dont answer my emails / tickets for a month.
I opened a Paypal dispute and a legal complain.
RUN FROM THIS SITE.

Hi Alex,
Do you have confirmation from the game publisher that the account you purchased was returned to the original account owner? (If so, this should be pretty damning evidence, and we need to suspend the seller.)
Can you send me a private message with your PlayerAuctions username and the Order ID so I can check what happened to your support ticket and/or PayPal dispute?
Thanks,
Lei

Hello Gabriel,
Our team thoroughly checked on the case and the seller was able to prove that he delivered the order as described in his offer details. He also proved the delivery of the transaction. Due to this, the case was closed in his favor; we did not receive substantial proof from your side to decide otherwise. I'm sorry if this is not the decision you were expecting and if there's anything else you need, please get in touch by writing back to your ticket with us.
Best regards,
Richard
Quite impressive in terms of professionalism and privacy. Sellers on this site are the best knowing the full ins and outs of trading ingame and avoiding unnecessary bans.

Both the site and the seller did their part well. True to their word the trade was secure and let me get the order without having to deal with anons on the net. More power this guys.

Easy site to use, the design of the site is also very simple. The best part about this site is that you won't be able to get scammed, because its well protected. Would recommend

Thank you very much for the kind feedback and recommendation, John. This is indeed what we set out to do and provide, and we're really grateful for the acknowledgement. :)
Everything from the design of the website to the content it has is great. Really cool website. I already recomended PA to some friends to buy and sell stuff from whatever game they want.

This is my second order of a Genshin account both from a guy named goldpl and both transactions were OK. A large factor is the seller you pick because you might get a bad one, be careful.

Thanks a lot for the back-to-back orders, Nathan.
I have just been scammed run away dont buy for them.
There is a very likely chance you will get scammed.
Even with the PlayersAuctions "insurance" they do nothing, and you will not get a refund

Hello Kanji,
I'm sorry to hear that the case was decided in favor of your seller. I checked with our team and found out they weren't able to receive conclusive evidence for your case. Please note that even with insurance, we still require buyers to send evidence to support their claim, as shown here:

PlayerAuctions runs a marketplace for buying and selling characters, virtual goods and virtual currency from massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).
PlayerAuctions was started in 1999 by a group of gamers in the states. It was one of the first player to player marketplaces around, becoming a famous hub for earlier games such as Ultima, Diablo 2, and Everquest. It survived on a small scale for years and grew entirely organically through word of mouth, until PlayerAuctions was acquired by Itemmania in Korea.
Being rebuilt from the ground up with proprietary risk management systems, and investment meant to provide a stronger support network for gamers, PlayerAuctions was re-launched in 2008 with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Korea. Since that time, PlayerAuctions has supported hundreds of games and activities within the wider gaming industry.
At the end of 2013 underwent a structure change to a Product structure which has shifted development focus to an agile development system which resulted in many product expansions in 2014 including Gaming Accessories, CD Key Sales, Cosplay, Trading Cards, and Software Downloads. PlayerAuctions also opened a new support center in Manila 2014 to directly manage and control the quality of services rendered to its users.
Thanks a lot for the continued support and recommendation for the site, Benby!
