They do not vet sellers and provide no assistance with refunds from scammers. I sent multiple emails asking for help and I was told I would have to wait, over 7 days of having money tied up for no reason

I'd like to note that there may be a misunderstanding with this; you're giving us a negative rating for a service you received. Our system assisted you with a refund and you are being refunded now.
When you placed the refund request, our team informed you that your seller was still within their delivery guarantee. In order to keep cancelations fair, they may only be done if the seller's delivery guarantee has lapsed/expired already. In this case, you chose an offer where the seller's delivery guarantee is 48 hours. It has not taken 48 hours yet when you canceled the order. In this scenario, if they are still within their delivery guarantee, they are required to approve your cancelation.
Perhaps what you wanted was to cancel the order without giving the seller their right to confirm the cancelation. I'm afraid this is unfair; you are not canceling an order with us, you have not ordered from us but from your seller. What we do is facilitate the trade between two entities: you and the seller, and again, to keep this fair, we need to hear from both parties. Barring that, if no response from the other entity is made, that's when we can close the order after 72 hours. At no point is this "7 days".
We acknowledge your freedom to write any review that you wish, but your appeal to the public to not use the site is contradictory to the service and protection you received. Our system provided you a refund. If this trade had been without a middleman service such as PlayerAuctions, you may have had difficulty getting your money back — if at all. It is false that you received "no assistance" with a refund. It even states in your screenshot where the order status is "Buyer canceled early", not pending or anything.
The vetting process you are looking for is also contradictory to the services we offer. If you are looking for guaranteed trades where cancelations will not happen, then there would be no point in a middleman service like us. We exist to ensure your trade is facilitated and that you receive the order — and if you don't, you will get a refund. That is what happened with this order.

Ordering requires some effort because you need to show some identity and this takes a few minutes, so know this going in, it's not instant. Thankfully, only needed to do that once.
The other side of it is a legit service though. You get what you pay for and sellers so far have been professional. No scummy crap going on and just business for these guys. I've bought gold twice and tried different sellers and both had good handling.

I may have gotten a little rude in the email calling it a scam I didn't know the replies take a few hours and I was worried about the payment but in the end I got the order and I was correctly charged. They still talked to me pretty nicely and I thought it was nice of them.
So yeah don't be a big dumb dumb and just wait for them to complete verification, check your order, check your card charge and it should be fine XD

The seller made attempts to give me a dud account and I reported it to them immediately. It took 4 days because they require proof of it which makes sense and they finally closed it and refunded me. Not the best turnaround but I guess that protection stuff really means something. I'm sorry I'm not gonna buy another one not you guys fault but this got me stressed a bit. Nice site to make some good money for your extra gold. Take note, your sale price is not the exact earning because they have a fee. As a seller you need to prepare that they charge you for the service, it's not free but the service is good due to sites security and buyers.

Playerauctions help team and inferior payment systems always seems to fail and leave a rift in your bank for the best part of week.
Then waiting on the other end is when you finally make a buy and it runs into issues. I got a refund for the account. But that is minimal in comparison to to my other investments into the account. They banned the seller. He seemed to want to cooperate but PA stopped any chance of that happening.
Looking forward to the "sincere apology and knowing how frustrating this can be" Richard. Save yourself the hassle and time and go somewhere else so you do not share my experiences.
