Got nervous at the beginning but thanks to the site's staff and the seller's replies I understood what was going on. Shortly after payment I also received the order. It pays to check the delivery times of sellers because this can be anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. Partly my fault for ignoring that.

You place an order, pay though an independent site (google pay, because who would enter actual credit card info into this site) and then they reach out to ask for a photo of your drivers license and a picture of you holding it. This is after your card has already been charged.
I placed two small orders without incident. Seem like when you increase the order to a specific amount thats when the scam kicks in. Ignore whatever bull$#*! response they post below this website is a scam

Most people are hesitant to provide credit card information through an unknown site. The only way I would place the order is through a 3rd party payment process like google pay. Why they would come back after payment is processed and ask for a photo of an ID as well as a photo of you holding it is beyond me. I'm also concerned that your site shows them at a 90%+ positive review rate even though the the review history is clearly much worse than that. 600+ 1 star reviews is horrible

Let me clarify that your payment has not "processed" yet, it's currently in charged/reserved status and this may be canceled by you anytime during this.
We have the payment verification in place as a security process to establish the identity and payment ownership of the buyer. This is to avoid fraud and/or unauthorized use of payment accounts. We do not keep your documents; they are purged and they are only used to verify you and your payment.

All my best experiences with buying and selling are here. It says specifically when you can expect money to reach you at all times. Customer support has never not solved any issues I had on site with other sellers or with technical issues. I think my only quip is needing a few more sites to sell for, but it's not a deal breaker.
Warning to everybody. This is a scam - bogus payment verification process resulting in bank charges and delayed refund if any. Worst thing I experienced on the internet. I wonder why these people haven't been prosecuted :(

You canceled your payment for the orders and refunds are not instant, they are processed in 2-5 business days.
I'm afraid this is a gross misunderstanding of how payments work. When you make payments like these, your bank/payment provider puts a hold on that amount of money so it becomes reserved and it cannot be used on other purchases. PlayerAuctions doesn't actually receive your money and when the payment is authorized, that's when it gets processed to us, also in 2-5 business days.
Your payments have been voided and I would have to ask you to please wait 2-5 business days (weekdays are the only days counted).
So no, we're not and should not be prosecuted for something proper and legal. I'm afraid your scam comment is defamatory and I hope this explains things.

I used to be able to buy quickly, and had no issues... suddenly, they want a screenshot of your credit card account website, and are certainly not in any hurry about it... "This process is usually very quick" has wasted over an hour of my time.
I'm sorry, seller- you just lost a $63 sale... and PlayerAuctions has lost a long time customer. 51 orders over the years, 100% feedback rating-- obviously means NOTHING to them.

I got tagged in a payment verification loop, where I received two or three word replies. I provided all proof required, but they got hung up on a "screen shot" from my banking app, which is blocked for security reasons. On their site they list several ways to verify payment, but refused to accept those. Yup, their right to refuse "my proof". But after 12 emails and 24 hours, way past their advertised 20 min response and resolution, it's my right to cancel the order so the seller may actually get a sale, and to leave a negative review of my very disappointing experience using the player auction platform.

Playerauctions help team and inferior payment systems always seems to fail and leave a rift in your bank for the best part of week.
Then waiting on the other end is when you finally make a buy and it runs into issues. I got a refund for the account. But that is minimal in comparison to to my other investments into the account. They banned the seller. He seemed to want to cooperate but PA stopped any chance of that happening.

I have purchased from them many times. HOWEVER, Lately they started asking for photos of my license. My card. My bank info. Which I even did that. Then after they "verified" my payment they suspended my account and never gave me what I paid for. Its now been 2 weeks since I made the purchase and still no refund. Every attempt I have made to them about my issues just gets blown off and I get told I need to send all my information again. Better run people they want that information for a reason beyond them saying it's to "protect from fraud". And I'm sure I'll get an automated response to this as well lol what a joke company.

I spent $134.77 and it was taken out of my bank account. It says the orders closed out of no where. No answers on why or if im getting refunded. Overall i'm really upset, won't be using this service unless they can prove to me otherwise...

This website is the biggest scam, after days of contacting seller I finally received details and then to make it worst they were all listed as N/A. Another few days pass and I got into the acc I payed good money for! Account password has been changed and now I'm locked out of my acc. I knew this website was dodgy asf and NSWRcompany are nothing but money scamming scums. Lucky this is internet because I'd kill you dog!

2nd order was much more pleasant. 1st one I had to go through a strict inspection process.
To be fair though both orders were legit and I got what I paid for.
Rest assured, the verification should only be done once as long as there are no security changes and that you use the same verified account.

I recently made a purchase through this company and had no issues at all with them. Make sure to check your email right after completion because they might have a few things they want you to send them to verify you as the buyer. Glad that they did that though, security is not something that should be taken for granted.

I recently have bought of of here twice in one day with two different cards and my account needed payment verification. I've tried sending them the documents and everything they needed. They never responded. I've used this site back in 2018 with no issues, but now there's an issue. The customer support is absolutely atrocious.

I had an issue with only getting a partial refund from PlayerAuctions after a deal fell through. The seller never had the account they were selling on the website and after a refund I was still out $60. It took awhile and lots of emails back and forth with PlayerAuctions to get a full refund but they've finally resolved my problem. I wont be using them again but I'm glad they at least worked with me to do what was right.

Terrible service I give over my details to the apparent most trusted on the site only to have to separate payments taken out once it takes me to a page asking me to enter an amount again which did not make sense to me.
I have had no customer service and will not recommend this site to anyone until this is solved honestly. Way to complicated process to and for some reason two purchases were opened when I clearly was trying to buy one purchase

While it may seem tedious to purchase or sell from this company you're left with a piece of mind that you aren't losing potential hundreds if not thousands of dollars on when using their service. Good and dedicated service. Seller seemed to have run out of stock while working on the gold I needed (to be fair I needed a large amount). He couldnt send over the last 20% so we settled at 80 but he only wanted to charge 70. It's the principle that counts but they guy went above and beyond.
