Got nervous at the beginning but thanks to the site's staff and the seller's replies I understood what was going on. Shortly after payment I also received the order. It pays to check the delivery times of sellers because this can be anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. Partly my fault for ignoring that.
This website, and its staff, are liars and thieves. I have been a seller on the platform for 10 years and they are the most incompetent website Ive used. You are much better off going to eldorado.gg or g2g.com
This is the only site I go to for in-game currency and account selling/buying. I've never had an issue in the many years that I have been a member. The multiple verification system is great to make sure that both the buyer and seller are not going to get scammed. It's great that there are more than one option for buyers to choose from and you can clearly see what a seller's review is. I'll keep going here as long as I play mmo's, which will probably be the rest of my life!
This website is actually the worst trading site ever. If you aren't willing to pay double the price of your purchase, you will most likely lose out on whatever you buy when it is banned, recovered, or confiscated. That huge payment that protects your product is also non-refundable, so you're out the same amount of money anyway. What a god damn waste. Has happened 5/5 times for me now and you cannot dispute the seller on paypal because the website is the middleman.

Trying to buy a $20 account and bought it 3 times using different methods. It's hard since every other service is a scam, I've been looking for an account for 3 hours. I don't understand why they ask for so much security, I know so many people would use this if it wasn't strict. I also have to wait 2 - 22 days for the $60 to get back in my account. It took me 2 - 22 seconds to spend $60.

- Name you wish it to be changed to (which should be the same as your payment account)
The address can be freely changed anytime by you.

Don't waste your time or money placing an order with playerauctions.com. They debited money from my account, requested a photo of me and my ID, which I provided, and then deleted the account I created and banned me. I haven't received a refund yet!

Bought a GTA account, my money came out of my account, I sent the confirmation, ID, bank card, and selfie in verification, despite them saying I wouldn't have to do that if I payed with Skrill, which I did.
But I sent everything anyway, and they kept saying oh can you send this image better, or can you reposition your hand in this picture?
Everything is clear to see and now despite sending photos of everything and some more than once, they haven't responded to my last 3 emails.
Seems like they take your money and then find excuses to not have to forward this onto the seller.
Will be submitting a proper complaint, and will update this review if it gets sorted soon.

Latest update - The item has now been returned. It took so many weeks, Im gonna bump the overall rating from a 1 to 2. I honestly wanted to keep it at a 1 star because I had to blast them on sitejabber for anything to even start happening. I contacted them twice through their contact forums on playerauction.com and had no response, nothing
I accepted a trade offer though their bot July 16 for a CSGO item. I waited over the 15 day waiting period to see my item on PlayerAuction site. Contacted 10 days ago and still haven't heard anything back. What a joke They are obviously trying scam people.

The verification/validation process is long and slow. It is not the Seller's fault but just another "secure processing" that is being promoted. So if you are in a rush to buy and must leave, etc. I'd suggest that you make the order when you have some free time in hand.

If the account information has inaccuracies and/or inconsistencies, it gets flagged and payment will be declined as protection for the community. The service on this website is hands down the worst experience I have ever had from any business. I recently purchased one of their products which advertised as "instant delivery" yet it has been almost 20+ hours and I have not received any information about my product and the 5+ emails I have sent their customer service have been completely ignored. I highly recommend not buying anything from their website as any attempts at help will just be ignored, and you will not receive your products that YOU buy at all. I still have no information on what I bought. The website is just a massive headache and not worth anything that you get.

I sold my fortnite account on this site for 120$, fees took 20$ but i don't complain about that. Then i have 100$ left in my balance and i cant withdraw it. Whenever i'm trying to change disbursement account i set up skrill payment name and mail address. Then i receive verification code and write it down. After i submit it's still same old disbursement account and withdraw button isn't working. (its black). I contacted support 2 months ago and ticket is still open, they reply rarely and if they reply it doesn't help with anything. Very terrible support

I mean the site works well but the moment you have an issue and try contact their support team to get your money back after receiving nothing from the seller you will get no reply... it's one week away from being a month since i posted my support ticket and still not a response sadly i can't recommend this website due to the bad support although the site itself operates quick if you get scammed or anything expect no response or help... even as someone who has purchased frequently on the site... recommend checking elsewhere

For cases like these, it's always best to go ahead and cancel the order, and this is also the reason why we make it available right off the bat. As for receiving gold in the wrong server, we recommend buyers and sellers to talk it out before the order is placed, because once the order goes through, it's usually final because the system assumes the buyer is completely aware of the service/gold he purchased, and also to make it fair to the seller.

Lets be real these sites offer the same structure and offers. I think what sets them apart is the actual security features they have. I got into a non responsive buyer and Playerauction refunded me no questions asked. Makes me feel safe and I will definitely come back.

I bought Rs account for 330 usd and spent 200-300 usd on gold well about a week after I bought the account put gold in it they stole it back contacted customer support went threw they're bull$#*! process waited 2 weeks and then they tell me that they can't contact the seller that the money isn't with them and they said sorry but the seller will be punished we can't do anything you get mad you tell them this isn't fair and they pretty much say say sorry your ducked and end the live chat

Seller was top notch and handed over a stacked account that had more than what was advertised. I was worried I'd pay more for this and when I asked about the surplus skins there, he just told me he had no use for the account anymore and just wanted the money. This site is very discreet and easy to use. It is great for saving you money because actual gaming websites will always charge more for items to make a profit. You can read all the reviews for the sellers to make sure they are trusted and well known. The site is also very good about refunds should something happen to affect delivery.
Avoid using this platform. I was a buyer/seller on Playerauctions for 3 years until I realized how much of a fraud this website truly is. They advertise to be a "secure player to player marketplace", however that's not the case. The site is rampant with scammers and shady people. On top of that, their support was garbage, usually took at least 2 weeks just to get a reply to any submitted tickets and always an appaling response, never a solution to the issue at hand.

Bought an account from a seller on the site. I tried logging into the account using the details that were provided and the account didn't exist on Blizzard.com. I disputed the order, provided sufficient evidence of the account not existing and the seller refused to cooperate and reply in the messages, but the dispute gets favored to the seller. I submit a follow up support ticket in regards to the unfair resolution to the dispute and provide even more evidence. Only get one response from the support team that the disbursement is on hold to the seller, I try to contact the seller again, but they still ignore. Now It has been 2 weeks since I sent in the support ticket and have not received any other response. As well, I cancelled an order 5 days ago and I have not even received my refund from there.
I really don't understand why the customer service recently with Playerauctions has been so poor, I have tried literally every means of communication to try and get my refund, but no response or help at all. At this point this review is my last resort to either resolve these issues and get my refund from a seller that has literally scammed me and playerauctions are in favor of a scammer...

I've only made two purchases from this website and both accounts were hacked back by someone. The second purchase I made sure to purchase "insurance" but after sending three emails with evidence and getting back automated emails each time I can comfortably say they do not care and that I was sold fake insurance. Please please do not buy from this website.

I have been using this site since 2017 and I think this will be the last time I ever use them.
Since they upgraded their "payment risk" system, I've been having issues making a purchase. Personally I feel it's just a money grab on their part to force users to use cryptocurrency. I have only purchased items for 1 game, using the same credit card for the last 3 years and now suddenly I'm deemed a "risk".
Why not just be honest and say you want only cryptocurrency? It's extremely frustrating to have your orders constantly denied.
Here's a suggestion. Please remove all other payment options in the site if it's not going to work 100% of the time. You're essentially lying to the public about your acceptance of payment systems.

We have to decline payments if there are security issues with the payment as compliance with our anti-fraud policies.The reason your payments got declined is because you have been attempting to pay many times in a given week and the block is happening as a security precaution. Thank you for your interest in buying on our site but unfortunately if the system gets hammered with repeated purchases, we have to block it temporarily due to security reasons. Please try buying again with your payment account on August 30 or later. For now, it's currently on hold.
As for crypto, we have it as an alternative and we do not actively push for it. We process many non-crypto payments on a daily basis and they still represent a larger number of the orders happening on the site.

I bought an account for 500usd. And bought the insurance too. About 2 months later, the account got recovered my original owner. I sent PA all the proof and they sided with sell who isn't even present anymore. He didn't respond when me and them confronted him with the evidence but yet some how they "sided with the sell" even though he didn't dispute my dispute. Just that alone would throw up red flags. But no. And to top it all off they closed the dispute and suspended my PA account. Wow. GG I guess? Please do yourself a favor and don't use this site.
