Got nervous at the beginning but thanks to the site's staff and the seller's replies I understood what was going on. Shortly after payment I also received the order. It pays to check the delivery times of sellers because this can be anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. Partly my fault for ignoring that.

This website, and its staff, are liars and thieves. I have been a seller on the platform for 10 years and they are the most incompetent website Ive used. You are much better off going to eldorado.gg or g2g.com

I bought an account on the website one month ago. And after three weeks the seller hacked the gmail account he sold me and stole my account! Now my 4 hundred dollars just gone for nothing!!
I sent a ticket to PA, they said they will investigate my case, but I haven't got any response in a week now. Have sent a couple email asking the latest status ant got no reply at all....
I am super upset of getting scammed, and PA is totally helpless....

I was able to check and I'm sorry to inform you that the evidence you submitted wasn't enough, as the screenshots were subjective and didn't pinpoint the seller as the one responsible for the loss of the accounts. We usually require evidence in the form of a statement by the game publisher, letting you know that the account was recovered by the original owner.

Moreover, I also saw that you did not purchase an insurance for this order. I'm sorry but we cannot issue refunds for orders purchased without insurance.

I was a long time customer of this site. I placed an order recently like usual. I then get an email asking for my phone number, I reluctantly give them it. I get a call from Player Auctions (I think) asking me personal question after personal question. I answered a few, even though I had already gone through this process before, then stop. He keeps giggling and asking do I want to continue, I say no thank you, he then hangs up and cancels my order but they took the money.

Now they have my money and I don't have the item I ordered because they cancelled it! I tried their customer service chat and the rep argued with me instead of taking care of a long time customer.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site. They will steal your money and claim it's your fault.

I purchased powerleveing for a line in World Of Tanks starting from tier 1 and ending at tier 10. This offer covered only one tier 10 tank for an absurd amount of money, and they didn't even play on it. They just used a bot program, and it took them 3 months to finish the order. I can't believe that this company would allow such garbage service.

Have been waiting multiple days for my refund, seller would not respond to my messages, I contacted customer service and was treated like im the $#*!ing low life scammer in the situation. I do not reccomend this site to anyone who does not like headaches and dealing with bull$#*!. This website is complete bull$#*! and just another place with strings attached to everything to take your money from you. Pieces of $#*! and low life losers.

Extremely simple and 100% worked. I had been finding the perfect website to buy stuff on and I finally found one. It's http://www.playerauctions.com/. It doesn't have any fee, you can add $6.99 for insurance to guarantee your money back if seller doesn't deliver. It's just simple and perfect for anyone to use. I bought an account of a game and it worked perfectly, I have been using it for few months now.

I'm giving them a single star because as a consumer, I have been unable to purchase anything, even after buying things in the past, as all of my payments are getting declined. I've tried two different cards and Skrill, every single payment gets declined. They said it's their 'risk' technology that declines payments if there are 'account inconsistencies,' but they're declining a payment where I'm directly inputting my credit card.

Then, their solution is to use GoCoin, which is impossible to use unless you own a business (part of the sign-up verification is confirming articles of incorporation or equivalent).

On top of all of this, it has been days of trying to find a solution to this and customer service has been unresponsive.

I purchased an account and all seemed fine up until a few weeks ago. When I made the purchase, I purchased their insurance in case something went wrong. Well, the account was reclaimed by the seller and when I filed the claim, playerauctions sided with the scammer. Even with plenty of evidence showing that it was no longer accessible to me, they still sided with the scammer. Not only was the account a scam, their insurance is also a scam. They will do whatever they can to side with the seller so they don't have to pay out. Do not use this site! It is a SCAM!

The service is true to what is advertised. They went over the 20 min guarantee and I think I didn't mind as long as the order delivered is correct---best to set your expectations with this.

I find that the sellers are polite and professional. They will ensure you process the order correctly and are more than willing to answer questions.

As ppl said that they are doing nothing to help even if you have an evidence is true, i'd experience it. They literally on favor of the seller, so i can honestly say, playerauction is a scam, they are protecting scammers, they doesn't care how many evidence or solid proof you got and keep asking for supporting evidence when the account is obviously reclaimed by the seller, at the end of the day, they have 0% common sense on the issue. They will turn a blind eye on a daytime robbery. Facts.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use playerauction, use your money for something better. This is a warning, so ppl won't be suffer the same fate of the rest of us who got victimized by it.

The site provides no actual protection from scammers and their way of helping you is to send the proof that you provide to the seller and ask them if it is true. There may be legit transfers from this site but the first one I went for was a scam and the company did nothing to help.

I love the fact that some one is taking our digital property, and across the board giving it value. If I want to resell my xbox discs I am able to go to game stop, but having the ability to do the same thing with my steam or other accounts is awesome.

I had a convensation with an individual and everything is smooth. I provided my info and when he had bought my account. He got it instantly and while hes enjoying the account I provided im still here waiting on my funds. I asked customer service "How much longer do I have to wait"? I still have not recieved any responds from them. Also They decided to deduct 66.44 from the payment I still didn't see. Why Take so much in the first place? And I want to know when will i be able to get my payment? Order number: *******.

Hello Ventshe,

Order 8730114 was sold with 30 days protection and sellers are the ones who set this up. You can set up this protection in 7,15, or 30 days intervals which will extend the disbursement time by that amount — this is your personal protection for the buyer that nothing untoward will happen with the order. After this period, the protection expires during which you are no longer liable for the account.

The buyer currently has 26 more days. This cannot be expedited because you offered your buyer this protection period and he/she has to receive it in full.

To avoid this next time, offer the order with after-sale protection and select "no" in the selection of the 7,15, and 30 day options.

66.44 was the service fee; the way this was framed in the review was like we took this out unsolicitedly. Please note this is the service fee for using the site, this was not taken against your will.

There is nothing wrong with this order and you'll just need to wait for the protection to end. Let me know if you have any further inquiries, Ventshe.

Resolved my initial problem, so thanks for that. Few things can be improved on though, such as replying to tickets within 6-12 hours instead of the average 24hour response time. Other then that, all was resolved so thanks.

Tip for consumers:
Could be better, especially customer service. Should be able to reply to e-mails within a few hours atleast - shouldn't be a 24 hour wait before a reply. Other then that, everything was resolved fairly well & respectfully so thanks for that.

I got scammed on this site by someone who knew that what he sold would have adverse actions in game. When I started the dispute a month ago it is still going on and when I ask customer service about it only answer I ever get is an email was sent this day and person has 2-3 days to respond. Customer service is not good at all. When I show evidence that I been scammed, im supposed to be protected. So far I have not been, just ripped off.

Moving forward, I would recommend also getting in touch with the game publisher and show screenshots of their responses of why the account is locked. This is usually pretty strong evidence that the account is unusable due to the previous owner's actions, and if you have insurance, we can get you some market credit to purchase a replacement.

Do not purchas after seller protection as it does nothing. I had an account reclaimed and am unable to access it. After the dispute and screenshots they sided with the seller. So buy at your own risk but there is no point in buying the after seller protection cause it does nothing. It's a shady business with some shady sellers. So far I've had two accounts reclaimed and one by the seller named

Dispute claims should come with compelling proof because without this, it will be unfair for the other user and users can simply ask for a refund. There is a point with getting protection for the account as you still have 346 days to dispute this. You can continue to send us evidence during this time frame, and I suggest you do. Once compelling evidence is provided, we can reverse the case and still provide you refund — provided, again, that you send it before the 346 days are up.

PlayerAuctions does have some legitimate sellers, however for Steam accounts, there are too many scammers on the site. The PlayerAuctions team has terrible customer service, is very slow to respond and suspends accounts that ask for refunds after getting scammed. They appear to have a secure workflow, but that is far from the truth and only a reassuring facade. PlayerAuctions is a joke of a company and is run by a bunch of morons who cater to the Steam scammer community. Buy here at your own (high) risk.

First, we advise our buyer/s to check the seller's status/feedback and reputation before purchasing. I've been using paypal for a long time. Now they will no longer allow it. Everything it says it fails. When I asked them on facebook I was told they updated their policy and kept pushing Gocoin. I'm very unhappy with them.

2 days ago I sold an account on this site. Someone placed an order for my account, so I contacted the buyer if he would be okay if I changed the price due to high commission(20$) and he agreed, so we cancelled the order and placed a new one. Everything went smooth until I realized they took an extra commission from cancelled order 15$, so that's 35$ for nothing. I wrote them an email and their response was that they can't remove my negative balance. So I wouldn't recommend this site for people who want to sell their accounts.

It certainly makes no sense whatsoever to "prioritize processing the order" since it is Impossible to see how PA could "process the order" without first ensuring that I had received the account information. Also, I had to start a dispute because of PA's slow and poor response, so there was no processing to be done. The comment that the so-called customer service reps had managed to respond is inane. They sent a canned response that did not even come close to addressing the issue. Since the seller was helpful and we resolved it independently, the order worked. If it hadn't been for that, I'd still be waiting.

The site is fine if there are no problems with a sale but trying to get a response from their so-called "customer service" if something goes wrong is unbelievable, You can die waiting for this to happen. I initially got a response that didn't work, told them it didn't work, posted numerous follow ups saying that nothing had worked, got no response at all, then finally got an email saying that PA was happy it had assisted me to resolve the issue--it hadn't--and could I please give them feedback. If the seller hadn't been so very nice, patient and helpful throughout it would still be unresolved.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid their customer service like the plague. There's no way at all to talk with someone, no live chat, no phone number. If there's another middleman service available, use that instead.

First time buying anything on this website btw, I pay for the product and after 30 minutes of waiting I get a notification saying there was an error and that I have been refunded my money. I check my account and there was no refund made. I email support about it and with no reply at all my account gets suspended for no reason at all. If I dont receive my product or I dont see a refund made there will definitely be legal action taken

I purchased an account with buyer protection, thinking that if the original owner reclaimed account I would be able to get my money back or else what is the point of even buying an account from PlayerAuctions. Well, one week later I wake up to the account email/password being changed and account being taken back from the original owner. Even the blizzard email shows a Brazilian origin hours, same as the original owner. I wait 72 hours to hear back from them multiple times and then they await a response from the seller, with no answer! They conclude he wins the dispute when he didn't even respond and I am showing proof. PlayerAuctions completely ignoring the facts and saving thereselves some money, a complete disgrace to the players who support them.

PlayerAuctions runs a marketplace for buying and selling characters, virtual goods and virtual currency from massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).

Business History

PlayerAuctions was started in 1999 by a group of gamers in the states. It was one of the first player to player marketplaces around, becoming a famous hub for earlier games such as Ultima, Diablo 2, and Everquest.
