Playlist.com used to be great! "USED TO BE" being the key words here... After they deleted all of their customers playlists without warning... Which for me was years of painstaking work! I had some truly awesome playlists, and they completely vanished over night. Obviously, I will never TRUST them again! Their current format; well saying it sucks would be putting it nicely!
Playlist used to be my favorite place to go and listen to music. You pretty much could make your own radio station. The problem is Playlist has declined quickly. The music available has become very limited and it seems like more and more songs are eliminated everyday. Playlist better make some changes or it will soon become obsolete.
Playlist.com used to be good and user friendly. In the last year they tried to revamp their site and it seems like they didn't do whatever other fundamental tweeks were needed to actually accommodate the changes. The site is MUCH slower, and it is almost impossible to find out how to play only one playlist at a time. The new Playlist.com sucks
Playlist was the Only site i would ever use for music because pandora is horrible. Playlist had no adds and the songs you wanted to listen to you could. The recent changes to the website made nearly impossible to listen to the songs i enjoyed and added songs i didn't want to listen to. They made like the inconvenient internet radio site i hate the most.
This site is great for creating playlists you can access anywhere (home, work, etc.). I usually listen to mine at work. I'm not sure if there is a limit to how many songs you can add to a playlist - I currently have 113. You can also create multiple playlists for different moods I guess.
Before Pandora came about, Playlist.com was great. Sure, it had flaws, but a few bad links to some songs was nothing; there was more available that worked. I loved Playlist.com because I could actually CHOOSE what songs I wanted on my playlist to listen to, not pick an artist, hear one song I didn't pick by that artist, then hear a ton of songs that I am forced to listen to because the skips are limited to FIVE, which was used up in two seconds, like Pandora and iHeartRadio does. One day, I went to the Playlist website because Pandora wasn't my listening choice due to their random songs you don't want to listen to, but are forced to, and I saw that the developers of Playlist.com had tried to compete with Pandora, taking away the CHOICE of one's own music playlist with songs they actually picked, and made it identical to Pandora in terms of playlist idea. The inability to actually pick your own songs, and having the website make the choices for you, is what drives me AWAY from playlist/radio apps/websites.
When websites/apps compete, you lose.
It used to be the best thing happening with creating your own list. I used to live by playlist.com but now it is the worst! Totally disappointed!
