My sister wanted to try Plexaderm for an upcoming wedding. I had also used before. We are both senior citizens and wanted to use because of bags under the eyes. I found going to their web site that the best deal was buying two and getting third free because it is very expensive for a small bottle. The cost was $119.00, free shipping. I had used before so a few years back so I knew what to expect. They have improved the bottle an it takes for me just a small dab under each eye. You can feel the product tightening on your face. Sort of like lemon juice or something you feel tightening as it dries. Plexaderm works but is very expensive to me. It is tops a 20 to 30 day supply for $60 dollars and that is when using a very very small amount. I use only on special occasions when I will be around a lot of people. So if you use it daily be prepared to spend $100 a month roughly. It lasts after applying only a few hours until you wash your face. It does work for me at least. I gave the rating because personally I think they charge too much for it for the amount they gicve and time it would last... but advertisement is honest and it works
First of all, their $14.95 free trial is a joke, it's supposed to be 6 uses but they literally give you six tiny TINY little dabs. And my face feels like I have plaster on it and that it will crack if I make any expression. I'm very very skeptical of all their "reviews". Hmm.

Plexaderm simply doesn't work as advertised. It's effects are very short-lived and it actually cracks if you move your face at all. Also, you can't use moisturizer, foundation, or concealer with Plexaderm. We used to give each other Elmer's Glue facials in middle school by applying a light layer of glue and then peeling it off after it dried. Plexaderm is like that... except 10x more expensive... And not as effective as the glue. Save your money.
Don't bother. If you have very oily skin it might not dry into a dry lake bed. Then it wouldn't serve the purpose anyway. Otherwise, it becomes really hard and then breaks up like dry clay. Waste of money. I purchased at CVS Palo Alto and returned it within about one week. I can report that they didn't give me a hard time as I thought they might since I had used some. I was pretty insistent since the TV ads were very convincing and WRONG!
I bought plexiderm and it did indeed plump my skin to look wrinkle free
However, it only lasts for about 2 hours then you are back to your old wrinkled
Self. What a scam. I am ashamed I fell for it.
Hopefully this will help other unaware buyers! Don't waste your money.
I'm 39 and I have very sensitive skin. That means I have a lot of problems with different over-the-counter products. I was beginning to think I was going to have to go to the doctor to get a prescription but decided to try Plexaderm first. It's been working well for my daily routine. I like how my makeup looks after I use it. It's also not too heavy. But I can't say it's a perfect product.
I purchased this product and was VERY disappointed. When I applied this product to my face, it made my face feel very tight which I expected based on the instructions. However, I did not expect my skin to turn darker than what it was. When I tried to conceal this with makeup, it removed the product and my puffiness immediately returned. I don't know if this makes a difference, but I am a woman of color and this product made me look like a raccoon. I do not recommend this product. I will try natural options moving forward.
Product malfunction I received my product and the bottles thing to empty after paying $69 for a product and it doesn't work however I called the company customer service and I was told to bang the bottle upside down 15 times and or continue to squeeze pump. It was just the agent made it seem like I was stupid and it was my fault that the product didn't work he just seem disconnected and uncaring I've been a loyal customer for a while but this might change my mind
I decided to try the 6pack trial of Plexiderm for $14.99. It did tighten my under eye, lids, and other various wrinkles on my face. But, if you move the areas that the product is on (in my case) it became crusty & was an odd color of pink. Maybe I used to much, I put my normal face cream product on after the recommended time but it seemed to break the Plexiderm down so I was back to how I looked before the Plexiderm was applied. I will give it another go round, but I don't feel I can recommend this product, not for the price the company is asking for it.
After ONE dose, it actually dried my skin out so badly it caused wrinkles I did not even have to start with. If you look it up it will actually say this can happen. Don't use it.

Don't be scammed by Plexiderm who proclaims to get rid of under eye bags in less than 5 minutes. I just tried it for $66.90 month supply and it did not work as shown on TV
I have used it on several people, the results was the same as I did. Did as directed. I could've spent money on something else. OLD SAYING: DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON TV!

As Don King loves to remind us, "Only In America".
I write reviews about companies that piss me off and take advantage of the consumer. In this case it's a clear case of false advertising through television and social media campaigns. We must all be Watchdogs and look out for each other. But Plexadem has really gotten under my skin because they've been stealing money from hard working folks for almost 3 yrs now. Even though it seems they've taken a hiatus from advertising only to return in Nov 2018 with a massive year end Christmas campaign. I cringe every-time I see the commercial and must mute or switch channels. The old saying "Let The Buyer Beware" certainly applies with this product. Greed is the mother of all evil and the networks who make tons of money advertising bogus products (for not being what they claim) is where it begins.
It's so easy to read all the negative reviews about this product. Simply type into a search engine "Is Plexaderm legit" or "Plexaderm Reviews". When receiving the results don't only look only at the top hits because these companies spend lots of dough to spin their products into looking legitimate. Take a few minutes to carefully search the results and you'll easily find one person after another with the same scenario stating "Crap product", "Don't waste your money".
The best way to stop these companies is to leave the principal owners penniless and prosecute them for ripping folks off. Stealing is Criminal! It's not enough to hopefully get your money back, we need to stop these sleaze-bags from operating and making millions selling dreams.
Bottom Line!
Stay the Heck away from Plexaderm. It does not work.
Lasts maybe 8 hrs at the most. Would have to keep buying more. A very EXPENSIVE way to do cosmetics!
Tip for consumers:
VERY EXPENSIVE as a cosmetic. Doesn't last....comes in small amts only. would be prohibitively expensive to use regularly
