They will ban you for no reason, paying customer or not. They allow sex workers to post and the quality of other matches are very low. I have seen profiles that have been there for years and a lot of fakes that will not respond or ghost you after a couple responses. They are ran by the same company that operates Tinder, Hinge, OKcupid, Match, Meetic, BlackPeopleMeet, LoveScout24, OurTime, Pairs, ParPerfeito, And Twoo. I would suggest staying away from all these sites unless you want to be scammed.

As others have said it's full of women all wanting a man WAY out their league. It seems no one is happy with their own level which is kinda sad... I don't wish to be rude but most of the females are no position to throw demands about... I just laugh out loud at all the single mum's entitlement saying how you must be tall and good looking. What do they bring to the table exactly? The funniest thing is when you finally match with someone they block you straight away or just stop talking.

I can only think most of the women are so angry and bitter because they've been ignored in the real world so they join online dating to get their own back on men... How else can you explain why they would sign up and then act in such an entitled rude manner? They show no interest in trying to attract a decent man... If you compare them looks & personality wise to women in the real world it's not even close, even the best ones on POF would only be mid offline and most of them wouldn't even be that, so I doubt they'd get any attention in the real world from men which might explain why they are all so angry Have a browse yourself and you'll see what I mean

Large, unattractive, angry women all demanding an instant connection—I mean, really? I just laughed and deleted my profile... They are all obsessed with complaining, "Can't see likes." Or just being negative and unhappy in general.

After three months on there this is my review. Most of the women are messed up in some way or other. They have severe issues.
Even the normal ones don't think twice about ghosting you. One woman was talking to me fine then next morning she had blocked me for no reason. That's hardly normal behavior is it?. I had women message me first and then didn't replying to my response. Why bother in the first place then?. They claim to want a funny and good guy but what they really they want someone who is incredibly good looking. It was funny to see average looking ones say things like "I can't believe it's come to this?" as if they're far too good for online dating.
They all think they deserve a really hot guy and if you don't like it it's your loss' because they know their worth LOL... Most haven't aged well at all and look at least ten years older than their photos yet still expect a male model to email them. I won't be rushing back that's for sure

Double standards galore. Women can contact you with no photos yet when a man removes his photos his profile gets hidden.
Women can send as many messages as they like. Men get only one a day unless they pay... Its basically a site of women in their 40's who have decided they finally want to find their 'last first date' now they're past their best and had their fun. They all still think they deserve a really hot guy and if you don't like it it's your loss' LOL... The phrase beggars can't be choosers springs to mind. I'd feel sorry for them if they didn't seem like such awful people

Even the seemingly 'okay' women think nothing of ghosting you in the middle of conversations. The whole site is full of cranks + narcissists. The less they have to offer the more they expect. For example, not being about to drive yet demanding the man has a car or they'll ignore his message. Or being extremely short yet only wanting a tall guy /wanting someone gorgeous when they're unattractive/demanding someone in perfect shape when they're ridiculously overweight. It's utterly bizarre how online everyone thinks they deserve a man of their dreams and won't settle for anything less It's fair to say they'll still be on the site in 5 years.

If the photos don't put you off, then the headlines and profile rants certainly should. I love how they all want to find the one and have a fairytale ending despite their legion of baggage,,,,, They make it perfectly clear their children will always be the most important thing in their life. They then state, If you're not willing to accept their children, it's your loss,' lol,,,,, By the time you filter out the single moms and the overweight ones, there's no one left to message.,,,,,, I should have guessed it would be bad when you see them putting tattoos as a hobby.,

I thought I'd be able to send unlimited messages to people but apparently I need to upgrade again to prestige to do that...
What's the point of having a premium option when it still only let's you message one person every 24 hours? They even want more money to boost your photo. It's never enough with them. Always wanting more money off you. Premium is a waste of time. You can only see who has liked you with that. Still only 1 message a day

They all think they're princesses and they're all looking for a spark. They won't actually say it but what that means is they only want a guy who is incredibly good-looking. ---You only have to look at the photos of the women demanding a spark to realize they're all wanting someone way out their league. ---Why would a good looking man be interested in an average/unattractive woman?... If you're a man, I'd wait until the women message first... If you contact them first... You'll either be ignored, find someone that is incapable of holding a conversation... or just run into unattractive oddballs...---TLDR? FULL of short curvy women with tattoos who want a tall good looking guy who will make them laugh on command...

They're all low quality but have incredibly high standards. Its ridiculous, they're all either divorced or separated - tattooed -unattractive - single parents -out of shape -Low class- and all have a ridiculous high opinion of themselves. All have the nerve to make a shopping list of requirements and ask where are all the decent guys! They all want Mr Darcy despite the fact they all look terrible

I don't understand why you would join a dating site if you're going to be conceited and unpleasant? Imagine putting 'if you don't like curvy and tattooed women it's your loss' I saw that a lot... The ones who say you have to make them laugh and have good banter have neither of those things themselves in my experience... No one cares that your children are your world and the fact you make it your conversation starter is even worse. Nobody cares you can't see likes either, that's not our problem... Do they all use the same template?... What's with all the shopping lists of requests?... It's out of control. No ONS, No liars, no cheats, no one under 6 feet tall, no with who is bald etc etc etc. Then look at what you get in return if you want a laugh. It couldn't get much worse... Ps what's with all the women closing in on 50 still wanting children? They must have been on the site for 15 years.

Pof serves a useful purpose as it keeps the messed up weirdos all on one site so you know who to avoid... If you think of all the bad traits that would instantly rule out a potential partner then the women on POF have them in spades, most of them have multiple red flags and they don't even try to hide them... I've never seen so many dysfunctional angry and emotionally stunted people in my life, all expecting that the man of their dreams will miraculously inbox them... There's probably a few okay ones on there but you'll have to search through thousands of dreadful ones to find them and it's just not worth the effort.

I didn't realize there are so many single mum's in Western Europe and they all seem to be on POF. Virtually every bio on there says their kids will always come first and they can't see likes. Just an auto ignore. By the time you filter those out and the ones who are morbidly obese or using pictures from 2018 there's very few worthwhile women on there to message. You certainly shouldn't be paying POF premium for another 25 messages a day. Most on there really struggle to hold a basic conversation. It really is a hell site full of the worst people that exist

The women are spoilt brats who watch too much tv see a hunk and think that's what they can get *** Asking the earth of a man he must be tall, in perfect shape must have a good job and his $#*! together own home own flash car While they sit there with 3 kids from 2 different men and have daddy issues and have every picture with makeup and filters to $#*! like they have a PHD in it **Lost count of the amount of fat ones who call themselves 'curvy' and the others who say 'chunky but funky' and 'sassy but classy' Let's be honest if they were half as special as they thought they were they wouldn't be on here for the years they have and have had a ring on their finger years ago ***I was on the app around lockdown and surprise, surprise there they are the same exact women on there still. You'd think after that long they'd realise he ain't coming by now.

Nothing good can come from joining POF if you're a guy... Lots of women in their forties looking for a connection {which I guess you must be attractive} I chuckled at how they expect guy to take care of himself yet you've got to accept them for how they are. The guy must be in must be in perfect shape and good looking but you've got to ignore the fact they're aren't. {How many fit men do you know who would be happy dating someone overweight?}... The funniest ones are the women who tell you that you have to make them laugh and make an effort... Hahahaha Nah that definitely won't be happening. Not with what's on offer in return

It's up to you if you join but heres my take... Being on POF is turgid stuff. Talk about the scraping the barrell I got so bored of seeing the same things all the time. It's like Groundhog Day on there. *I can't see likes* or *my children will always come first* was on every single write up I saw. I just ignored anyone with this in their bio. There's no originality and no attempt at humor on there. There's also way too many rude people on there. If you pay extra all that means is you'll be able to message more people you don't like. You get 25 messages a day instead of 1

I was on this site years ago when it was free to message and had very good experiences and met lots of women. Now it's just a money grab by Match.Com who bought every free dating site to eliminate competition. You get one free message per day and that is not enough to get a response. I've had 2 whole responses in 6 months. And the fees at $20/ week? Ridiculous, that's $1000/year.

How many homemakers with tattoos can there possibly be on one site? What happened to good manners & making an effort? There's no humour or personality anywhere to be seen on there Nearly all the women have a dreadful attitude & seem very self absorbed. The profiles are lazily filled out with little worthwhile information that would pique anyone's interest, who wants to read "just ask" or "can't see likes"? The conversation starters are as bad, why would I want to hear about your children? Some even tell you to contact them for their OF. I lost count of the messages I received that were awful. Most couldn't even be bothered to say hello, it's just 'u ok? And that's it.
It's like they can't think of anything to say. (The funny thing is judging from their photos you'd think they'd make a bit more effort as they certainly won't be winning any beauty contests)

I'll keep this short and sweet. If you saw these women offline you wouldn't give them any attention, yet online they act like hot property. It's extremely bizarre. If, on the remote off chance, you find someone even half okay looking, then you'll see they either have other mens children around them or are just messed up. It's hideous I honestly don't get who is messaging these women to give them such a large ego. I can only imagine there must be lots of desperate men. I'm not interested in dating such an awful quality of person regardless of how great THEY think are
