It's up to you if you join but heres my take... Being on POF is turgid stuff. Talk about the scraping the barrell I got so bored of seeing the same things all the time. It's like Groundhog Day on there. *I can't see likes* or *my children will always come first* was on every single write up I saw. I just ignored anyone with this in their bio. There's no originality and no attempt at humor on there. There's also way too many rude people on there. If you pay extra all that means is you'll be able to message more people you don't like. You get 25 messages a day instead of 1

I was on this site years ago when it was free to message and had very good experiences and met lots of women. Now it's just a money grab by Match.Com who bought every free dating site to eliminate competition. You get one free message per day and that is not enough to get a response. I've had 2 whole responses in 6 months. And the fees at $20/ week? Ridiculous, that's $1000/year.

How many homemakers with tattoos can there possibly be on one site? What happened to good manners & making an effort? There's no humour or personality anywhere to be seen on there Nearly all the women have a dreadful attitude & seem very self absorbed. The profiles are lazily filled out with little worthwhile information that would pique anyone's interest, who wants to read "just ask" or "can't see likes"? The conversation starters are as bad, why would I want to hear about your children? Some even tell you to contact them for their OF. I lost count of the messages I received that were awful. Most couldn't even be bothered to say hello, it's just 'u ok? And that's it.
It's like they can't think of anything to say. (The funny thing is judging from their photos you'd think they'd make a bit more effort as they certainly won't be winning any beauty contests)

I'll keep this short and sweet. If you saw these women offline you wouldn't give them any attention, yet online they act like hot property. It's extremely bizarre. If, on the remote off chance, you find someone even half okay looking, then you'll see they either have other mens children around them or are just messed up. It's hideous I honestly don't get who is messaging these women to give them such a large ego. I can only imagine there must be lots of desperate men. I'm not interested in dating such an awful quality of person regardless of how great THEY think are

99% of the site are what I'd call distinctly average/ very plain or even worse... I had very little interest in messaging any of them but after constantly seeing "if you message and I don't reply it's because there's no spark and I don't find you attractive" It just made me laugh... Do they not own a mirror? How can they be so conceited when they are so plain themselves?... This could only happen online. No way they would act like this in the outside world. You'd have to be feeble minded to message anyone on that site

EVERY single woman on the site thinks she is a princess and won't accept anything less than the man of her dreams who makes her knees go weak. All this only works one way, though, as the men are expected to ignore the flaws of the women. The fact the women dont look and certainly don't act like like princesses is ignored, If you think I'm joking, message some below-average lookers, and unless you are Brad Pitt, they will ignore you.

You will not find a decent women on this site It's not the site to blame its the trashy people it attracts
POF is rammed full of ghastly women with no class, ninety percent who are single mums. /They all want the man of their dreams and claim to know their worth despite all being nearly middle aged. Its hilariously bad.
It's funny to see them all wanting to settle down with Mr Perfect now they've had their fun.
Nothing else to say. It's full of crazy egos and attitude.
It cannot get worse than this for dating. It's a website full of the worst women in the world

Talk about having tickets on yourself. POF is the bottom 30% of women all demanding someone way out their league. They all want someone tall dark handsome + funny. In other words they expect to date the top 5 % of men in the world. Theres no hope of it happening and just sums up how little actual common sense there is on there. Isn't it amazing how once they reach a certain age they ALL want to settle down and find the one.?

This typifies what one can expect...
A woman has one pic up and she says it's the worst one of her she has (it's half blurred and you can't see her eyes) and if you want to see better ones you'll have to get to know her. The profile was blank so nothing to gauge from that. That's the mentality you can you expect to find on there... Another one was the man must be over 6 feet 3 tall, not drink alcohol, love cats and Disney, be funny, take good care of himself and work out. How many grown men who are 6'3+do you know who like Disney and cats?... I can't deal with the amount of stupidity and nonsense on show... All I got off POF was a headache... FWIW Any half attractive woman will be snowed under with messages that'll she won't be able to respond to them all

All I saw was CAN'T SEE LIKES x1000. Also a lot of No Timewasters or ONS as headlines as well. Rather than use precious space to create a good vibe or attract men most of the women just complain about this right away. The blunt truth is they can see likes if they choose but they won't pay to access the premium feature. So they'd much rather be cheap and complain. After a hour of negavite profiles I'd had enough of seeing it. If they can't make the effort neither can I. Haven't been on for 10 years but having logged in again it's actually got worse since 2015! The women have got older and less attractive but their demands have become more outrageous. I didn't think it was possible but they've become even more pompous and entitled than a decade ago. They still want to meet the man of their dreams but obviously all still refuse to pay to see the liked me feature and they can't see them, they're not shy to whine about this fact. (maybe less money spent on tattoos and more on dating?) They still can't wait to tell you their children will always come first and many still have "talk about my children" as a conversation starter. They all still know their worth and refuse to settle. LOL 🤣 It's like they don't learn from the past

It should say POF is for entertainment purposes only as it's full of dimwits. Most of the women might have been okay years ago but now past their best & look their age If I had a dollar each time I saw "attraction is a key thing and if I don't reply it's because I don't find you attractive" then I'd be rich. The irony is most of the females who say this are aged 40-50 and are no longer easy on the eyes. I felt distinct second hand embarrassment reading such entitled drivel. I also saw a lot of women knock off 10-15 years off their real age just to avoid the algorithm. 55 year old pretending theyre 40 and 60 year old saying theyre 45. They tell you in the profile they're lying. They don't want to date men their own age. I also noticed when if you match and get in touch with them they wont bother to reply. What's the point then? What a strange little site full of even stranger people

Compared to women in the outside world, it is night versus day. Most women on there would be rated as 2 or 3s in terms of appearance. Even more disappointing is that they are just as low rated when it comes to personality and happiness, not existent. You might think they'd make an effort to be nice seeing as they're not aesthetically pleasing
But nope. They don't seem seem possess any self awareness regards their attitude. Many of them lack impulse control; they either have multiple children orhave half a dozen dogs and cats filling their homes, they also love to get dozen tattoos on their body and brag how they want more. Oh and there must be a 95% male to female ratio.
Stick the real world is my advice...

All the men on there look like thugs just out of Folsom prison or are generally low quality. I just deleted my account after someone who seemed high quality took me onto WhatsApp and led my through a BS story that led to him asking for money. For the one day I talked to him, he really sounded real. After hearing a bunch more stories of men who are foreigners wanting to make a home here, I'm over it. This site was pretty good 6 years ago, but look out! Scammers are out to scam you here! There's more fake rift rafters on here than real people. Look out for this dude! He's impersonating a police officer.

I spoke to a few women who are no longer on there. They all told me the same: lots of men messaging them, love-bombing them straight away, asking for feet pics or other inappropriate things, as well as sending aubergine emojis all the time. The men who can't control their urges have ruined the site for the normal guys. It's pathetic behavior tbh. Ask yourself this? If you're a nice woman, why would you stay on a site like POF? You wouldn't, so
Unless you meet a decent woman real quick before she leaves, then all that are left are the ones that are not acceptable From what I've seen, the ones who stay on there are not very nice while at the same time managing to be extremely stuck-up (hardly a winning combination, but they don't seem to care). I lost count of the times I saw "just ask" where the About Me section was.

I should have known it would be a bad idea joining up There's too many women on plenty of fish that have made terrible decisions in the past regarding men and now want to find a good one. The problem is they now have other mens children and expect you to be okay with that... The ones without children are even worse. Aged 35-50 their entitled picky attitudes would try the patience of a saint.
I honestly have never seen so many women demand so much while in return offer so little... They all want a white knight, a cowboy or a viking lookalike. In return said man will get someone exceptionally plain looking (that's being polite) with the personality of a wet cloth. It's hardly a fair deal Until they lower their demands I can't see how any of them will meet a partner

This isn't a good site. The motto should be why make an effort to create a good impression when you can just complain instead" The women have out of control ego's and are full of their own self importance None of them seem good natured and prefer to complain, acting unfriendly and spend their time telling you they can't see likes rather than make any kind of effort to attract men. Imagine thinking it's a good idea joining a dating site with that attitude. I can honestly say I've never seen so many single mums, weirdos and unattractive misfits in my life.

As soon as you browse the profiles the negativity is apparent. The females make no effort yet complain how bad the site is. They don't seem to realize they're not helping the situation The profiles are all depressingly similar and just scream high maintenance, high drama, and low quality. Instead of complaining that they can't see likes why not either pay to access them or change the headline to something friendlier? God forbid they might make an effort to be nice for a first impression instead Reading "can't see likes" as a headline is a lazy, instant put-off. There are many selfies in bathrooms showing tattoos and flipping the bird, along with numerous pictures of messy rooms. That alone should give you an idea of the quality of person you can expect to meet there. You'll need to be extremely lucky to find a good catch there.
