His profile says that he is not using drugs and that is not true! He gets high and he is abusive. He's a player and the biggest liar that I have ever met. He's been with me for 3 years and I just found out that he is sleeping with other women from POF. Scared to death that he's not disease free... I'm headed to get tested ASAP. They are exactly like IRS scammers whom call you to tell you to pay back taxes or you will be arrested. This Jackass asked me for 48k. This guy total joke! Did meet one decent man, told me after we met he prefers Asian woman. I am educated, attractive; Tall, Athletic Caucasian. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

POF is a poorly designed website that is interested in having you pay more, but get less. The various upgrades don't give you anything that is useful. For example, I would like to eliminate the men I have reviewed and am not interested in. But even if you eliminate them in one area of the site, they still appear in other areas. So you are continually confronted with people you simply don't want to see--and are repeatedly asked, in the meetme section, "do you want to meet him"? And have to again eliminate that person. And next day, there he is again in the meetme section: "do you want to meet him"?

As well, POF does falsely bill. I have had that happen to me. When I told them to correct their error they said it would take up to 10 days to do so (it took 2 seconds to make the billing). To date, 14 days after the error was made, POF has yet to respond to repeated email demands to refund my money. Now I will have to call VISA and get the charge reversed.

I have 60 days of an upgraded membership, but I would not say that I have seen anyone new after the first several days. Upgrading did nothing for me.

Joined POF to help me write an article about online dating sites and apps available. The fake accounts are prevalent but that's not the real issue. If you displease a premium account, yours will be blocked. If you don't answer a premium account, you will be reported and blocked. There is no customer service. There is no explanation. "Your account is blocked because we said so". I made 12 accounts to test. Four of them still remain active because I am "nice" to any premium account that messages. The other 8 are blocked the moment I disagree with a premium accounts' view on women and how they are to be treated. The verbal abuse premium accounts allow themselves is staggering. Nothing happens if they are reported. I was subjected to gruesome role play requests, a frightening number of pain related questions and a lot worse! A lot of the suggestions made by POF premium accounts were not even legal and can be viewed as an assault. POF doesn't care. I have reported premium accounts numerous times. They are sill active. Other similar sites are bad and favor their premium accounts but POF is frightening.

I've read many reviews that are against POF and I concur with most but I'll reflect on that later. Firstly, I want to reply to one statement about the same photo appearing on ChristianMingle (etc.) and POF. This is typical. Most people are on more than once site at one time and usually favor a picture or two which they normally use (among extra pictures). The bone I'd like to pick is that POF removed accessibility to my profile (After I wrote them they replied that my profile was 'DELETED' for one or many reasons). However, it seems that my profile has resurfaced. I am, however, 'BLOCK' me from logging in to reply to responses and/or even login to view the such concerned profiles (perhaps POF has my IP address blocked?). Regardless, I cannot delete my profile for the life of me (this could cause problems if/when in a relationship). They have taken up ownership of my profile and pictures. I'd like to perform a class action suit against them because they are using my profile and pictures for their better gains while locking me out (I feel violated). The more members they have, they more marketing contracts -- which spells $$$. They may not like you but they WILL use your pictures -- especially if they are professional pictures (not fakes). I read a review where a guy said he sees and responds to many profiles with beautiful females but never hears back from them. Oddly enough I had the same experience on this and other sites. What explains it is what happened to me... most of these people are either banned and/or moved on with their lives YET cannot delete their profiles.

pof.com i lost 2 hours from my life for this bull$#*! website for nothing, i was soooo pisst off, they lucky that i cant find phone number, otherwice i would call them and will tell them that im really pisst off with stupid a lot questions on this site, i hope this guy who made this site, will go to jail for waisting people time for bull$#*!, they asking too much about private life, how much i getting money, do my perents still married, what the $#*!! 1000 questions, i even answering them without reading them, cos, so stupid questions, and im not joking they are a lot! About 1000, and this site saying its free, but when u waisting your time 2 hours with silly questions, they asking to pay, im really really pisst off with this site!

I was on POF for years, on and off. Met my fair share of guys. Most were awful, but I never gave up! I met my very best male friend on POF! Even though nothing ever happened romantically between us, we have an incredible friendship! I thought I was lucky to find such an incredible friendship, especially on POF!... Cut to years later, I sent a guy a message. His profile matched what I was looking for and we started talking. Not too long after that, we met in person. It was pretty much love at first site and I was definitely swept off my feet. We have been together just over a year now and I can't imagine my life without him. We are to be married in August 2017. Never in my life did I think I'd find my husband online, let alone on POF. I'm extremely glad that I stuck with it and gave POF one more chance when I just wanted to delete my profile. I have never been happy. It's all because of POF that I met and fell in love with my husband to be! If you're thinking about giving up, don't. Even just one more chance on POF is all you may need to fall in love like we did.

I tried the site with a 3 month trial. Just discovered today they automatically charged me for a renewal I did not ask for. Going back over the upgrade email it does say they will automatically renew but that part is conveniently off to the right of the email so it doesn't show up to notify you of the sneaky practice. I have sent an email to this company with the information they requested for a refund but they have not responded. Cant leave a message as their complaint/refund voice box is full. I have been forced to file a dispute for the charges on my Visa card through my account with them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER ONLINE. ITS A TRAP! GO BACK...

Fake, the other half are low class munters obsessed with dogs and tattoos. Photos of the they own are on most pics and they love to show the tattoos they have. I got bored of reading if you don't love dogs don't message and I have 8 tattoos and plan to have more. You can't buy class

Not sure why people are complaining about getting scammed after paying money. You seriously think you'd have more chance if you upgraded? It's full of the most undateable women I have ever come across in my entire life

The women on pof must think it's Christmas come early because if not for this site they wouldn't get any male attention judging by the looks and attitude of them.

I used Plenty of Fish for a couple of months - back in 2018 - my view is that its actually pretty good -
I got a few dates on it, and although there are a few doubters - I did well -
I recommend NOT paying for it ( you don't need to) and just give pleasant replies / messages -
And see what happens - frankly there are far worse out there!

I been on and off all for 2 years I mat I few men a lot was rude and creeps very disrespectful ugly married a lot of kids drama and play a lot of games and waste of time liers homles and dirty a lot of men looking for sex or a women to feed them or take care of them... its really ppl like my self that's are willing to meet a nice young man but these wild $#*! men get on here and actin like the gold but broke as $#*! so that's why I delete it oh 95% of the men post these old as pictures from 10 years ago that's all I am saying is post real pics and update pics of who u are I live in Washington DC...
