Pogo is working on the customer service and recently got back to me with help for a technical problem in good time. They were able to make it right, so things are looking up as they actually connect with their consumers.

As a customer I did my part... when it was time to pay up... and we're talking a little over $5... I couldn't withdraw... Their algorithm is set up so customers can complain, they do a fake review and delete your account...I contacting the BBB and anyone else to get this FRAUD services off the internet... Burn in 🔥 Pogo... You probably have no shame heartless?OB's

Been a member 11 years but since they took 99% of good games off and replaced with stupid games, I've cancelled my subscription

Pogo doesn't have a decent game to play anymore and every new game is gem oriented. 6 year member, not renewing again.

As a pogo player since 2002 I have decided to no longer be a member.
EA I believe has made this site what it is today. All things must end.

I played games on Pogo for years, many of those as a club member. I let the club membership lapse a couple of years back awhile (I had no time for it for awhile), but recently decided to peek in on it again.

Seeing the dreaded EA logo, I had a feeling I would be in for disappointment. Was I ever not wrong.

First of all, I found that all my points (or whatever Pogo used to call them) were just... gone. Along with all my custom minis, and the little bits and bobs it used to be fun to do challenges and win points to collect.

From other reviews I see that some folks (likely lacking in prior experience dealing with EA) have tried reaching out to their... *hack*... *cough*... "Customer Support"... for help with these and similar issues. At least I already knew not to waste the time.

I stuck around long enough to try a few games that didn't require me to shell out $$$ for a renewed membership just to play. That's when it became painfully obvious Pogo's gone microtransaction-happy. A $72 a year (monthly) subscription just isn't enough for them. These new games are going to require "tokens" or "energy" or "sand dollars" or what-not to play, and they are clearly set up so that not long after you're hooked in, you'll find you can never "earn" enough of these resources through normal play to keep up with the growing "cost" of that next round.

Do I want to play the next level of some puzzle game now without endlessly grinding through boring stuff (if they've even made that possible) to earn enough tokens for it? Looks like I'll have to shell out extra $$ then. I mean, who hasn't got spare bucks lying around for that kind of nonsense, right?

Or I could just move on.

I avoid games (and companies) that employ this kind of business model like the plague. Anyone else who doesn't like burning money for nothing should probably do the same.

I stopped playing games on Pogo because they were boring and took way too long to load. There are lots of other game sites that I can go to!

Paid Pogo member since 2008. Pogo sold to E. A. Most preferred games have changed to never ending looping and all the same format. Goal is to have you purchase power ups but the games are BORING. Many of these games are identical except for themes but they all require you to play over and over and over and when you finally win the level, you move on to the next which requires the same ridiculous repetition. The original CASH jackpot of $2,000 for members was reduced to $1,000 and now it will be eliminated completely. The cool Holiday badges now require you to play multiple games, winning a plain utility badge and if you get all of them - like 10 games for this Christmas challenge in 1 week where the games are extremely long and some are difficult - then you get the pretty badge. It's just a cheap $#*! scam now - milk them for all they're worth because they're the only game in town. After almost 12 years, I won't be renewing and that's too bad because I have spent a fortune on mini items and such via the gem packages but I'd rather do without. As it is, the mini fun is gone: No contests, no reason to purchase that stuff anymore. The current "25 days of Christmas" celebration is ridiculously cheap and there isn't even a NEW offering for each of the 25 days - so really it's just a Bait and Switch. This is the 1st year I didn't receive a birthday gift and yes, those things are or were a part of the paid membership. Buyer beware - you're better off having a variety of games using MSN gaming or even facebook but EA isn't going to treat their customer any better than they are right now and as we all know, the service will get worse. Good luck Merry Christmas.

The parent company of Pogo, EA, has informed me that my Pogo account is "banned or suspended". This was apparently due to the fact I was a yearly member and come the renewal date, they could not process the credit card on file because that card had been cancelled by Chase Bank due to the Target Identity Theft situation of a few months ago. The Pogo site would not let me update the credit card info, there was some glitch on the pages that made that impossible. I contacted customer service about how to update my credit card info to renew my account, and I was sent a cut and paste non-answer to my question indicating that my account had been "banned or suspended". Well, since I could still log in and play games and since POGO was sending me daily emails about how they were trying to charge my credit card (an email from them that you could not reply to), I thought this was a mistake. Several more emails to "customer service" and I get the same cut and paste response. I was able to submit info via a PayPal account and Pogo charged me $39.99 for a renewed yearly subscription, but I am now informed once again that my account is "banned or suspended". I have now filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. Pogo does not get to charge me a renewal fee and then turn around and tell me that my account is suspended. You don't get to collect a yearly subscription fee for a service you have no intention of providing. Their customer service is apparently outsourced to India for emails. I did find their corporate address in Redwood City in order to file the complaint with the Attorney General. I feel Pogo and EA are operating in bad faith and their various components do not know how to interact with each other, as one phone rep told me "no problem" straightening out my account and then I get another email stating my account has been "thoroughly reviewed" twice and the suspension will stand. No reason for a suspension and no answer to my request for a refund for the fee they took out last week.

Yes, a family friendly site filled with cheaters, stalkers, and poor sportsmanship, presumably Democrats! Pogo was great many years ago when I joined. I noticed at the time that there would be random messages from odd foreign names such as Zika saying go to POGOCHEATS.net and you can win Pogo games. The messages were repeated in numerous chat rooms and at the time I thought nothing of it. I started to realize as I played Boggle Bash players were earning unattainable scores at least by humans. Light bulb, the players had purchased cheat software from POGO, called double dipping on funds, and allowing players to cheat, pissing legitimate players off! Even now you can go to a Boggle room, and see a player called BSlinge124, who is a nuisance, and a cheat. Pogo not only allows this behavior, but, they get money from both legit and non legit players. There is no chance of beating a purchased cheat software(bot) and it makes me want to reach in the computer grab the person by the neck and choke em! What is the point in cheating? Get praise from a bunch of clueless players who think you are a Boggle genius! Wake up people! I am paying to be annoyed by Pogo and the cheats that it sells cheat software to. Seems unethical to me, and I will no longer be abused by the greediness, and sneakiness of the EA SPORTS morons. Family oriented, yeah, Gambinos, or Gottis! Maybe I can get one of them to take out the cheats! Good riddance!

Club Pogo has NO SECURITY in place to protect their website. They will allow HACKERS into your account who may also download a VIRUS. They will then do NOTHING to correct the problem THEY CREATED. I have placed several calls and wasted hours with their so-called "Tech Support" (overseas call center) who HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE on how to trouble shoot a computer. They emailed me a link to reset my password three times but the link was broken AND THEYDIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS SIMPLE PROBLEM. Club Pogo and Electronic Arts are so well hidden that it is impossible to contact them and speak with anyone. They will however continue to debit your bank account for their monthly fees. This is nothing but SIMPLE THEFT to accept money for an account that does not work and they refuse to fix. Club Pogo/Electronic Arts are nothing but SCAMMERS. Please be very careful before your agree to create an account with them. READ THE THOUSANDS OF REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET FROM MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN CHEATED. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in their city to see if they can do anything but based on the never ending complaints I have read online I might not get anywhere. THIS IS A VERY DISREPUTABLE COMPANY. If you are already a member BE VERY CAREFUL. Based on the information I have seen they probably won't be in business much longer BUT THEY WILL STILL HAVE YOUR BANKING INFORMATION.

It appears Pogo will just be another game site. No Chat, No Tokens, No Badges, and we lose everything we gained over 20 years, for me. Very sad.

I've played on Pogo for years, mostly cribbage, which is a Java game. Over the years almost all the browsers, like Chrome, Java, Safari, have become no longer supported. The only one that works is Internet Explorer and even that quits during a game 1/3 the time. Cribbage used to be a fun game. Now the intermediate room is filled with expert and master ratings who won't play with lower rating players. There are so many you can't even get in the room half the time. And here is another catch. They have 120 tables in the room but will only allow 90 players in at once. Go figure that one out. To me the games seem to be as crooked as a dog's hind leg. I have not been able to win more than 3 games in a row, and even then you still lose more than you win. Yet I see some of these Master rating people and their stats show they have only won 10 games more than they have lost. Even winning those 10 games in a row will not make you a master. That is lame pogo rating system. The trolls and disruptive players are a problem. Even if reported numerous times for profanity and harassment, it takes a bit to get them banned. But then they just add the number 1 or a letter change to their name and just get a new account and start their trolling once again. There are many who are bad sports. If you leave after playing one game with them they call you out in the lobby for being a "Runner" The men are always hitting on the women and sex talking them at the game table. While others think Pogo is a dating site. Others use it as a cyber sex site, both men and women. And there are many men who pose as women on the site. You can buy a subscription and get your members only room but that is a farce too. I have seen the member only room say there are 30 players in the room but when you go there you find only 5 players. Really Pogo? If you bring any of this stuff in the game forums your posts get deleted and customer service is a joke. So who would be stupid enough to even play there, much less buy a subscription?
