Pogo is working on the customer service and recently got back to me with help for a technical problem in good time. They were able to make it right, so things are looking up as they actually connect with their consumers.
As a customer I did my part... when it was time to pay up... and we're talking a little over $5... I couldn't withdraw... Their algorithm is set up so customers can complain, they do a fake review and delete your account...I contacting the BBB and anyone else to get this FRAUD services off the internet... I've been a pogo player since 2001 and I've never seen it like this. EA games took the fun away and replaced it by greed and more greed!

I subscribed to get rid of ads but the price increased to $23 a month which is ridiculous. The ads are so annoying the site is useless.
Sadly after years of being a paid player I signed off. It has changed. Is it EA? I dont know. It is like a dead horse. Just get off it.

Even after you join, POGO wants more money to play the game. $$ for crystals to play the "MEMBER ONLY" games that you joined to play! Then the BS error messages. Compatibility problems? I'm playing your games with no problem. Sign out of POGO, come back later and, the VERY SAME game I played earlier, is NOW telling me I have RESOLUTION COMPATIBILITY errors, the very same computer I played last week on, the same computer I was playing on earlier this day, I can no longer play the very same game I was playing earlier, now has "Compatibility" problems?. I go on your little forums and complain, SAME COMPUTER AS EARLIER! SAME RESOLUTION AS EARLIER! WTF? After complaining of Resolution Errors, I start getting "SPIKE SERVER ERROR" messages. Terrible website. Constant crashes on Scrabble. Can't play a complete game. Wouldn't even consider paying money to play on this site.
Your 'SPADES' game never lets you finish. The game "freezez: after 400 tokens are earned. Naturally it takes 500 to win the game! So, you can never ever win this game! POGO REALLY SUCKS IN SPADES~!
I think it is lousy whether you pay or not so why pay when it is always having problems with the wesite

Still uses an outdated NPAPI plugin in Java that was no longer recognized by all the major browsers due to security reasons back in 2015. I have called customer support and they told me to try Google Chrome, then Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and then Microsoft Explorer 11. None of them can open the games I try to open on each browser. The only browser that could open 2/3 that I tried was Explorer 11, and Chrome actually opened 1 game once, but then not again for some reason.
Games are also really boring and slow even when they do load. For instance Texas Hold'em is so bad. Just go to pokerstars.net or any poker app and its just 500% better. Also their multiplayer Monopoly game only lets you play 35 turns and then it just calculates the game from where you're at. At that rate, why even play the game? Just let us click 1 of 4 slots, and simply run an algorithm and just determine the outcome of the entire game. That ruins the game, and its NOT Monopoly at all!
I like the idea but I hate the quality that you've had to lower it to, to combine all these games together. It apparently can't be done properly and affordably with all the licences you have to pay to get these games.
There's not even a simple difficulty option for games like checkers. You can't choose easy, medium, hard for the cpu (which I always have to play against because there also aren't very many players in some of the games, making it very very long of a wait to get an opponent).
By the way, sitejabber.com gave me this stupid cat avatar even though I chose nothing. Way to go sitejabber. Just posting images around randomly on other peoples profiles? Very professional.
Been with POGO for years and never was a big fan. The switch to EA was the last straw. EA Sucks, Bye!
PopUp WebPage's Cripes errors; and Blank pogo chat out!
What it is that the animated Easter Badge and non animated badges are Popping up a 'Cripes' webpage 'error' because of a couple Certain <color codes> used in non & animated badges.
Some people have found a way to use that certain color codes in Flash to boot or kick Most Players out of the rooms to get the Cripes errors; PopUp WebPage and Blank pogo chat out!
If? Pogo would add (NULL) in a new subject or line
-Hidden- - NULL - OR Null in front of the Sample ~> NULL<colorcodes> for badges in there source code for chat rooms
That would -null- the Cripes errors" webpages and would turn it into a ZERO So it cannot popup again into a new Cripes webpage error. It's Dead' Null' Zero' Zip' Gone' Bye' So The Players will enjoy not having a Popup Cripes errors; any more from certain colors

It used to be great, I loved using Pogo. We actually bought a yearly subscription at once, but now I wouldn't use this if it was given to me. I enjoy playing Scrabble with my wife and she found a coupon to get her first month almost free and she said it still wasn't worth the 2.00 that she had to pay for it. I cancelled my account after being a loyal customer for years, they charged me anyways and then went on a rollercoaster ride just to get the refund back. I was told first that it would go back on my card within 24 hours, that was a lie. I had to however get back in touch with their chat within those 24 hours with a ID number. I did that and got told the same information yet again. They kept asking me for an order number that I have yet to find to this day, either on CC website information or Pogo's site. When I finally got through to the guy in chat, and told him look there is no order number, he rushed me off the live chat. Still received no refund, so contacted them just tonight. I had to give last 4 digits of card info, login ID, zip code, birthday, country, and the last gem transaction? I mean seriously? Shouldn't have the last 4 digits and birthday been enough? We don't ask for this much information where I work at to pass disclosure to work with health insurance records. I was told tonight that it would take 5-7 business days to receive a refund that was supposed to take less than 24 hours... I will NEVER use Pogo again, I don't care if they switch to free games completely. I will give bad reviews to anyone that asks about them.
I didn't even get into the bugs that are in the site, having to reinstall and uninstall Java a thousand times, getting pop up blockers stopped and feeling like when you had to hold an antenna a certain way or you would lose a signal on TV. That is how I felt using their terrible service.
July 31st, Pogo is not renewing Hasbro games such as SCRABBlE. They do not offer refunds to customers that only play one game either

Since there is no zero rating, I have to give them a one... which is one more than they deserve. They are thieves because they took eight months of my membership and never answered one of the DOZENS of e-mails I sent requesting assistance. There was a change in their website, so we then had to use our e-mail addresses to log in. As my user name began with a "V," I was one of the last to be changed over from using the user name to using the e-mail address. IT NEVER WORKED. I tried and tried, but I could not access my account and those money grubbers never once responded, despite my using their "help" button... which gives you stock answers and zero assistance. Since I had several friends I enjoyed meeting online in the games, I ended up buying a new membership and lost EIGHT MONTHS that had been already been paid for. 2) The games also changed. While they don't tell you, they mix members with non-members and you end up waiting on people as they have to watch ads... but you don't know this because you, as a paying member, receive no notification. 3) THEIR RATING SYSTEMS ARE A JOKE. I loved playing one particular game, but found I lost points after I had won four in a row. The system was so inconsistent, but it was obvious that it didn't work properly. Too bad. 4) You could be an expert in a game and you would be playing with a partner who was a bare beginner and you had no way of knowing this. 5) There was no way to vote out disruptive players and they didn't give two craps if you complained because THEY DON'T RESPOND TO QUERIES... EVER. 6) The games had bugs and you would often find yourself "frozen" in the middle of a game or even worse, suddenly ejected because Pogo "belched." 7) They have a bad language filter that would bleep out simple, everyday words that were NEVER curses, but you could write a word like t h i s and write anything. Uh, what? Not to mention that the vast majority of players were way over 18.8) The games went from decent, yet simple, graphics to sexist/cartoonish (skintight FA uniform, spades characters looking like stereotypical 40's mob types... including the "heavies" and "woman of questionable integrity" and on and on. 9) You couldn't get rid of disruptive/delaying players so people would be stuck for 20 minutes or so or had to quit just to be able to play. 10) and to reemphasize this: THEY NEVER RESPOND TO ANY QUERIES. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.
Tip for consumers:
AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS. I used it for years and after the change, not one single player ever told me that (s)he was happy with the changes. Most agreed that they would quit at the end of the membership period...or never sign on at all.
