Almost 100% of the time you cannot reach delayed, they send you. And there's too many rules about getting a refund so the satisfaction guarantee is no guarantee at all. I believe there are no leads and they are just scamming contractors. Seven years ago they were decent now it's 100% scam

I find them to be a bunch of scammers only differents there not up front with it 3yrs and all I did was buy leads never made back a penny until in the end I decided to give up which was a wk ago.They already have there pros whom they look after. Buying leads is the biggest rip off I ever experience in America from Porch I Hope the Government look into it.last yr I payed for a subscription $256 for membership also with the promise From big talking Alex, that my company would get more recognition.what a fool I was to listen to this man.Upto now I haven't made back a penny.And on top of everything I still had to buy leads which no customer answers and when they do they say they got someone already so you lead money don't go back in your bank account it goes in porch bank.I could go on but my advise to anyone is do your research.
I checked my business profile on Google was shocked when I found out porch used my company identity to solicate quotes I immediately called them. Multiple calls multiple days no response. Steer clear of these parasites I only hit one star because a lower rating isn't a option

They do not honor the refund policy they'll try to find any excuse literally not to refund. And everytime they call it's only to upsell another subscription tier, also they lie about "free advertising" on their app

We have been using Porch for a while, the quality of leads are getting really bad. Non-connection leads are a standard norm for them. If you accidentally leaving a message for the customer for over 60 seconds (some people's voice message is long to begin with), even at 61 seconds, Porch consider it a connection made. My advise is don't waste your time or money on their service. Period!

Don’t waste your time on the leads. The quality of the leads are bad compared to other services we use. If you happen to get a hold of the customer. The customer has been contacted by other lead sources too, so you have not only Porch selling the same leads to 3 contractors, the same lead was also shared with other lead companies. Don’t waste your time or money.

Purchased leads from Porch.com. We were on an subscription account that Porch will auto charge our account every 2 weeks to bring back to the set amount. If you happen to leave a 61 second message, even though no connections were made, porch still consider that a connection made.

I've been a porch professional for more than 4 years. I stopped using them for lack of quality leads and they enticed me with "verified leads". Those leads were far and few between. I have since stopped using them and have a balance of $350 and they refuse to refund my money. Looking at their current lead opportunities, the nearest lead is 40 miles away. Don't use them. They are withering away, having less and less relevant leads and just don't do what they promise as they pressure you back into re-signing up.

Our job was fairly easy, or so we thought. Our job consisted of removing carpet from our breakfast (137 sq ft) nook and installing vinyl planking. Although it took him all day, the porch handyman did a good job of installing our vinyl wood plank flooring, but he did a terrible job with the floor to carpet transition strips. When he removed the carpet, he did not leave enough carpet flap even though my husband told him to. He said he'd ‘take care of it.' Well, he didn't. What was left were two incomplete transitions. I called porch the following day asking them to send me an experienced floor person to complete, they did, but it was the same handyman! Still looking for someone to correct the job.

Hired "handyman" with 44 years experience. Big mistake! Terminated him before project completed because he left us with a huge mess, did not cover anything up while tape, bedding and painting. Had to use our personal dumpster to haul off debris, just not up to standards. Way too expensive for what little result we received. Would not recommend, refer and definitely no hire. Extremely poor rating.

The contractor missed the 9:00 appointment. He called and rescheduled for 11:30. He arrived after 12:00. He then left the job because he did not have a stud finder and went to get one. He was gone for over an hour. When he returned he mounted the TV successfully, but spent hours trying to run the cord through the wall, which he eventually gave up on. Then he charged my elderly mother $203 when Porch had quoted $118. As you might expect, I am furious.

We had porch lawn services for two years, typically Spring through Fall and would put on pause during the winter. The contractors they use for lawn services switched almost every appointment and never showed up the day they were supposed to. They were consistently 2-3 days late. Having my lawn cut on a specific day was never a huge deal so we let it slide but my recent interaction with them has caused me to write this review and to make the decision to never use any of porch's services. I called in to reactive my lawn service for Spring through Fall this year, was given an exact start date and thought all was done, set to auto bill with bi-weekly service. Day of appointment comes, and guess who doesn't show up? You guessed it, Porch once again. So I call in to ask where my contractor is and find out they never reactivated my service and that it would take another 2 weeks to get someone to come out! Unbelievable... the incompetence is truly mind blowing.

I scheduled Porch to send someone out to do several repairs to my house. Fix wood rot in a door frame, repair dry wall, install a new toilet. The morning of the repairs I was contacted and told there had been double-booking of jobs for my repairman. Was told he'd be about 5 hours late. It was rescheduled several times during the day and we ultimately had to delay the work by a week. My only complaint is with the scheduling department. Jamie and his ultimate work product were great.
It was a pleasure working with Porch they were very professional doing what they promised to do which is sometimes a rarity today. Their servicemen Adrian was very nice he arrived right on the time which surprised me I'm not used to that kind of home service. Adrian stuck to his work until he was finished and he was patient with my little dog that was a little pest I appreciated that. The price was reasonable. The whole experience was very good I definitely would recommend this service and use it again. Thank you, Porch
Porch sent over some folks to install a new thermostat, they ended up blowing a fuse, not knowing what they did, and then leaving after 4 hours of "troubleshooting" and no knowing what to do.
After complaining to porch, they sent another guy out that thankfully knew what they were doing and fixed everything (the only reason I give 2 stars). Afterwards I still had to pay this person which costs double what the first person charged. I sent an email to them asking for a refund of some kind and they ignored my request.

I bought properly 10 leads from these guys not one of them has panned out and every single time I purchased one I have to spend 45 minutes on the phone with them trying to get a refund. And half of them if you actually get a hold of somebody which is rare. There's not even any job to be had. I think they're just playing the numbers and hope they don't have to refund everybody when they send out fake leads they're probably killing it. Avoid like the plague

I had a buried electric cable for my sewer pump short out. You recommended Scott D. Electric to fix my problem. Scott did an excellent and professional installation of new above ground cables to provide power to my pump. He was available, arrived when he said he would and completed the job in one day. I would highly recommend him for any electrical work.

Porch was less than half another quote I got. I didn't measure perfectly so we had to adapt. Ugh. My contractor/handyman was brilliant and knew just how to compensate. He was fast, efficient tidy and the finished product is beautiful.
I asked Porch to give me the name of some local businesses that could clean and repair my gutters. They just sent me a questionnaire, which I filled out. But there were never any business names sent to me. I won't be using Porch again.

I never signed up for their service or to receive advertisements. My home inspection company gave my info to these people without my permission. Now porch continues to harass me even after I requested (twice) to be removed from their call list. What a pathetic way to try to drum up business! Really makes me trust them a lot, you think? Why would anyone use these unethical middle-men who pocket the hard earned money of their subcontractors? Hire a handyman directly, don't use these rip-off services who make their money by overcharging you and underpaying their subcontractors.

I signed up because it had free credit to join. The first lead I bought did not respond but I was refunded my free credits back. The second lead I got a contract on. The lead was 10.50 and the job was 2800. However I have been harassed nearly everyday with phone calls and emails to solicit me buying their premium service.
I scheduled a tv mounting service for last Sunday at 10:00, the first issue is the tech called to see if they could come at 1:30. I said that I had another commitment and could not wait. The single technician showed two hours later around 12:00. I was required to order two technicians and was to pay an additional $79 for the second person because the TV is a 65". The single technician was able to manage the job successfully by himself and he was very professional. When the bill was presented I was charged for two techs even though only one showed up two hours late. The invoice was corrected only after I complained and everything is paid and finalized.
I asked for help related to making my screen porch usable year-round and used the word "winterize." Got back information about irrigation systems for yards so, they do not freeze.
I know how to google "winterize" and had already done research about this. Whoever got my request evidently did not read it carefully or know anything at all about how to search for appropriate businesses.

I actually had a very good experience with Porch. I got a call pretty quickly from a contractor, Angelo, and he followed up and to set up an appointment. He arrived as per schedule and installed 4 fans/lights in our house. He did a great job and we're very happy with his work. Everything seems to be running well even though 2 of the fans were more difficult to assemble. He was even very helpful in offering his opinion on one of the fans we had purchased and we ended up going with his recommendation. He also took the recycling materials and old fans/lights. Overall, no complaints! Thanks!
