I needed a garbage disposal installed. Sam arrived on time and fixed me up in a little under an hour. Service was more affordable that the ARS subcontractor that Home Depot had contacted. Glad I went this route.
Almost 100% of the time you cannot reach delayed, they send you. And there's too many rules about getting a refund so the satisfaction guarantee is no guarantee at all. I believe there are no leads and they are just scamming contractors. Seven years ago they were decent now it's 100% scam

It was worst ever, the so-called ill-mannered, asthmatic, weak and patient they sent to fix our huge king size royal bed. He brought a pickup truck & a dolly to move a King-sized furniture. He was wearing tank top and shorts and he was not even in uniform which I was expecting from this so called-huge company. This person was not even wearing mask and gloves which I offered him and I offered him hand sanitizer too which he rejected to use. He Was coughing and sweating and above all he was throwing his cough and sweat particles in the entire house. We got effected from his behavior which was extremely disturbing and unacceptable. He created a scene in our apartment and our neighbors came out and when they saw the scene they all said he is no doubt a drug user. He was a drug user and my neighbors are now going to file case against him coz of the scene he created and left our stuff in middle of the street and for shouting out loud. It was very heavy and we were suppose to give him 99 for 2 hours but he worked just 1 hour and rest he spent his time on call and 20 minutes he spent in the restroom and didn't compensate the time he wasted in his activities. My younger brother helped him when he saw that he was asthmatic and weak. He Disturbed our entire apartment so badly. He had no manners and left everything in between the Main Street. Which was unethical. Very poor experience. The company should rather fire him or close their company because no Person on this planet earth would tolerate this kind of poor service they provided me.
The whole experience was easy. The installer was actually early. The price was good compared to a couple of other quotes. All in all a very good experience.
Fantastic service by the Porch Mowing Service. Showed up exactly on time, and didnt waste any time taking care of the front and back yard. Id recommend them to anyone!
I need my storage shed in my backyard repaired. I contacted Porch.com and had two contractors, Daniel and Josh, contact me both using the same number. Daniel quoted me without even seeing pictures of my storage. After I objected to this and sent him pictures he said he couldn't see what the problem was. The pictures were very clear of the damage to be the storage but he said he needed to come to my house to give me an estimate and he wanted me to provide my debit card number and pay $59 before he came out. I didn't know him from the man in the mirror and cancelled the appointment. Contractor Josh texted me and said he would like to talk to me more about the project. When I called the number the person that answered the phone for Porch.com said he did not know Josh so that made me a little leery. I can understand Porch.com having one number and but when a contractor contacts you they should leave their company number not the general number for Porch.com. Needless to say I haven't heard from Josh again. From no one at Porch.com I guess because I didn't want to give them my card number.

Guy who assembled was great! Some confusion with scheduling. Was rescheduled twice. Wasn't told it needed to be rescheduled - had to call them after waiting for an hour each time for guy to arrive.
First they scheduled me to have a window a/c installed on 5/26,(a Sunday). This was the Memorial Day weekend. Then the day they were suppose to install the a/c they call me saying they have to reschedule because it's a holiday weekend. They now reschedule me 4 days later to 5/31 at 10:00am. I call them to confirm the day before which they assure me someone will call 1hr before my 10:00am appointment. The day of the appointment no one calls. I call them at 9:40am, then I'm told they couldn't locate a guy for the job and they will find another person to do the installation. I then inform them how disappointed I was in their unprofessionalism and that I'll be looking at other places to complete the job. Within 20mins they call me saying they can have someone else over by me by 3:00pm. I told them I was no longer interested.
The questionnaire on Porch only took 10 minutes to complete for 2 bathroom remodels, and I was contacted by 5 contractors all within 48 hours! Very convenient resource.
I entered into a contract with MovingPlace, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Porch.com. I paid them nearly $5,000 to have a container dropped off at my house on a Friday so that we could load it with movers on Saturday then have it picked up on Monday.
On Friday afternoon, they inform me that the carrier they are working with (and note this well--they work with carriers instead of doing it themselves, meaning you're paying more) wouldn't deliver the container that day. Then they guaranteed it would come the next day, Saturday. I confirmed with them multiple times that it would arrive. Lo and behold, once again I get a call that they would not deliver it on Saturday and would not get it until Monday.
Well I canceled all of my movers and that cost money, and then I moved everything outside myself over hours and hours of labor, and now it's going to rain between now and Monday when they're finally claiming they're going to drop off the container.
Porch. Coom and it's subsidiary MovingPlace are not reliable and should be avoided at all costs. Contract directly with the carriers at issue.

The installer was on time and had the correct equiptment to install the fan in the 14 ft. Ceiling. He worked quickly and was finished in about 1.5 hours. The price was resonable.
Don't waste your time with the lead generation business. Leads are poor, and they don't honor there refund policies!

Poor customer service. They never pick up there phones, but they like to leave meassage to avoid dealing with customers upset with there service!
