Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!

After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

I ordered from Postmates thinking there prices were reasonable and delivery charges were cheap. Boy was I wrong! First off they overcharged me by $10 after my order was already made, then when I contacted them they said there vendors can change their prices at anytime. Even after I provided the screenshot of their prices they're like, "There price listed quote un quote is an estimate" BULLCRAP... I will never use postmates ever again nor will I recommend them! They didn't even try to offer any credit or nothing! Worst customer service and business ever and I never write reviews but postmates is horrible.

First of all this company is a rip off, they overcharge me on few occasions, and the food never gets on time. And when you try to reach them over the phone there is not a number to call them. The prices on their menu are not updated, you will end up paying more.

Ordered delivery, processed as pick up, waited an hour. Contacted them and was told there would be fees to change the order to delivery. Looks like I'm going to have to pick it up myself, just what I wanted to do. Thanks Postmates

I placed an order to jersey mikes for pickup and when I got there they said the grill was closed. Nothing in the postmates app warned me about this and when i tried cancelling my order through the app to get refund the cancel order button did not work on the app totally useless! No direct a contact info, no nothing! DO NOT order from them ever!

Worst delivery service ever they either get the order wrong or don't deliver it to the right address. Don't bother wasting your time and money of this company. Go through another delivery service. Sick of having to get refunds and not getting what I asked for.

I use to order from them and never had a problem now all of a sudden they pre authorize your card double what your spending and they say its to assure the money can cover the order. This is bs and then it takes damn near 5 days to get back on your card. Im not sure if they were being scammed or not but I wont be using this service anymore.

Every item we try to order is well above what we pay at the restaurant on top of the feed. I just tried to order a hot dog from a place we usually just go to, the menu price at the restaurant is $5.39... Post mates price? $13.94! The photos are of the menu and postmates app. More than double priced for the same food and I am already paying a fee for the delivery. Liked Post mates for a minute, cancelling my membership.

The drivers are not responsible for anything. So you get what you get and if it's not right, you get to correct it. These $#*!s charge three different charged to being you half your order. They refund you the tip. The freaking tip that I didn't even add due to the other 2 fees. Service fee is 6.62 plus a delivery fee of 3.25. A delivery person tip fee of 4.51. They refunded me what they stole from me. 4.51.

Tip for consumers:
Thr service is not worth the time. I spent more time correcting their mistake and we all know time is money.

Because my experience was awesome! The app is super convenient and easy to use. There is guidance given in the app so you can start using it right away.

I had a personal shopping request which is harder and more time-consuming for Postmates shoppers to do. I had to hand-write my list and explain exactly what I wanted.

The Postmates driver I got, Alba in Silicon Valley, was awesome!

Super fast and got EVERYTHING RIGHT! She not only made the Postmates ETA she had a smile on her face when she arrived.

That has been my 1 and only experience so far. I will definitely try them again. The price was fair considering it was a personal shopping request.

Lamb dish I ordered was so dry and tough (obvious freezer burn) I couldn't even get a steel fork into it. It was inedible, and I don't use that word often.

After contacting Postmates Support, they refunded a whopping $5 of the $15 cost. Any time I have had issues with Seamless, they have refunded the full amount or gotten me a replacement meal. Last night I went hungry and I paid Postmates $10 for it.

There is no real customer service support so if you have a problem you have to wait a day for them to email you. When you do finally get an email back it will be the same automated email from different people. Then eventually someone will email you saying they can not help you at all.

I placed an order through postmates for China walk on Bailey's road and there seemed to be no other way to do it because the website directed you to 2 postmates without even signing in or anything and whenever I waited for my food and never came and the tracking order said that they were picking it up and they never came into liberty it's been over an hour and whenever I could contact a customer service through the chat they disconnected me when I told them to cancel my order and give me my money back because I never brought it to me. They said that I was supposed to go pick it up. Why would I pay for delivery fee and go through postmates if I was gonna pick it up myself in the 1st place? This makes no sense and I can't believe this place can is allowed to do this. Stealing, poor customer service

Tip for consumers:
Do Not Go through Postmates. Save yourself the time and hunger pains and money that they refuse to give back! I asked to cancel and they disconnected from the chat. Their customer service number is disconnected too!

I use Uber, Lyft, Instacart and Grubhub on a regular basis in St. Louis so I thought I would give Postmates food delivery a try.

I ordered a Arby's Max Roast Beef meal with a Dr, Pepper and large fries and then went throught the usual sign-up on Postmates.com St. Louis.

I could not find any info on how much this service charged, but I thought maybe it would be comparable to Grubhub, another food delivery service here in St. Louis.

The meal cost $8.67. They doubled that price to give me a sub total, then added sales tax to the 100% mark-up AND added a $13 delivery fee for a total of over $33!

That is why I could not find what the charge for their service would be until after I gave them all my personal and debit card info, right down to my security code.

Beware Postmates! Data thieves!

I would give a negative star but that's not possible. They accept the order and then they keep extending you delivery time. Once they exceed your patience they even have the ordasity to threaten to charge a cancellation fee. I will be making sure everyone knows how horrid to his company is.

In case your food doesn't arrive or the driver brings the wrong person's order - Postmates will NOT give you a full refund. They will keep the automatically applied tip for the driver even if they don't actually bring your order! They refunded the cost of the food and kept the tip for the driver even after multiple contacts to customer service.

You'll end up giving them gratuity for wasting your time. Stay away.

I used Postmates to deliver my Dad's Father's day gift to him and it never arrived. Worst yet, the driver kept the gift for herself. When I wrote to them they brushed it off saying that the delivery had been canceled while on route which is not true. I will never use this service again and would recommend that nobody does.

I spent 6 hours making bike deliveries, and do you know much I made? 30 miserable dollars busy Saturday in New York City but postmate Pay rate sucks. This is their method: drive to pick up the food sometimes 5 or 10 minutes, wait for the food around 20/30 minutes, and drop off the food like 20 minutes away, you spent 1 hour in 1 delivery and they just pay you 5 dollars. & by the way I think customers pay too much in the system and that's why they don't to tip us!

Postmates unlike the competitors used to be cheaper, faster, and goes to places others don't, like this local cafe that I love. Well not anymore. The other day I ordered and i. Pregnant and have been craving a mocha frap from coffee bean. So I ordered one for me, and one for my husband. About 11 dollars with tax for both. So I go to the checkout knowing they have delivery fees and what not but I was shocked to see the total was 21 dollars. How it it possible my fees and taxes are more then the price of the coffee. Plus tipping the driver. Postmates used to be cheaper and didn't have all these Cart fees an 6/7 dollar delivery fees. I don't care how bad my craving was. I'd rather go myself which I did the next day then spend nearly 30 dollars on TWO coffees! Insane 21 dollars plus tip for 2 coffee's?!? No thank you

My first order from them was never delivered so they refunded me 5-10 business days after the order. The second time I ordered it was an hour and a half late and there was flies and maggots in the food box so I contacted them again and they got back to me the next day and said they would only issue a refund if I sent them photos of the flies and maggots, of course it was in the garbage so they wouldn't refund me. Months later I received a great promotion from them, 50% off my order so unfortunately I ordered from them again and I got the order after about 45 mins which was okay but there was items missing from the order maybe $10 worth so I contacted them once again and received an email explaining that because I had 2 previous issues that I am no longer eligible for any refund. So if they mess up your order enough time then it's now your fault. Just delete the app it is so shady and not worth it.

So basically one of the worst f-ing apps i've ever got. Sure it's good in terms of how it looks but it's taken $32 out my account when the meal came to $23! Delivery is $11 when the restaurant is a 10 min drive from me and it's ridiculous. They've over charged me and taken way more money than they needed ($10 more) and it's honestly outrageous. I had to cancel the order and i still haven't got my money back. SMH!

Postmates doesn't even deserve one star. They are misleading and overcharge. When confronted about their business policies and refund demand of overcharges they respond in email with they are sending the information to the appropriate people on the company to assist of which nothing happens. I had to contact my bank and dispute through the bank. After some research I have found this is standard business or Postmates. Buyers be aware.

My order was for $41 and change. They held my card for $51 and change. AFTER the food arrived, I was shown my updated receipt, which reveals $67+. They are absolute thieves. I mean really, an over $26.00 difference?

Postmates would not refund the cost of food that was ordered and charged but not delivered. They failed to follow up with the restaurant and were only prepared to refund part of their delivery fee. The brand has flimsy standing and will eventually fail once people realize that they are not able to deliver what people actually order.

Garbage company. They will take your money lose or mess up your order, have you sitting there for houra wont refund you or make it up to you in any way, their customer service is a joke of an automated system that is absolutely worthless and intended to make it impossible to get help or retribution. Ive sat here for 3 hours and had 5 orders cancelled on me because these idiots are too dumb to do their job. Run away from these crooks and never look back. They treat their employees just as bad. I know this because I drove for them for a while. Theyll do everything they can to take as much of your money (as a customer) or to give you less money (as an employee). Go to grubhub or doordash or something else because postmates is TRASH.

Ordered in advance because I was doing a early shift and didn't want to prep lunch. I've been waiting around for my food to arrive, usually when someone drops off food they would let someone know but no one said anything. The driver claimed he waited at least 5 mins before leaving. What the hell. I contacted support and they said I have to pay for the food and service. I was literally robbed because I didn't get my food and I get charged for it; so where's the food? The driver probably enjoying his free meals. This is a crooked company with dishonest people. NEVER USE POSTMATE!
