Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!

After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

I ordered some food that cost about $20 bucks and when the driver accepted the order and received the order I seen on the map that he was just sitting around on some street. So finally when he arrived at my building I waited by the door to retrieve my food and it never came. So I went downstairs and security said that he never came in at all but he marked the order as delivered. So I quickly emailed customer service and they told me since he pulled up and waited (and never contacted me might I add) that I will not be receiving a refund! Please who ever is deciding to order from this company DONT! It is a scam they don't even want you contacting them when There's a issue. If I'm spending my money with you I should get great customer service and rapid response if there is a problem. These people are very unprofessional and I hope they get shut down.

I order from a local sushi place with a confirmation email at 4:47. Order was to be delivered at 5:50. When the order didn't arrive at that time the app says "Merchant needed a little more time preparing your order." I called the merchant. 30 minutes after my supposed deliver time the merchant said they still didn't even have my order. Wish I could have given 0 stars.

We placed an order with postmates and were told to expect delivery in about 40 minutes. 30 minutes later we received a text that the order "had to be cancelled". Reasons given were all blamed on the MERCHANT. However when contacting the merchant they indicated the order had never even been placed. We placed the order directly with them and drove to pick it up ourselves. Not the evening we had planned.

So I got this spam message from Postmates today entitled "Detox to Retox". In the body of the email it states the customer has an opportunity to "retoxify" the body after a supposed "January Detox" and month of "healthy foods".
So this not so subtle message is that Postmates customers can eat "toxic" food once again! And order that "toxic" food from the restaurants that support them!
And of course, they are educating the customer that healthy eating is "depriving" themselves.
Brilliant. I emailed the company but felt the need to post this, since this is the most pitiful, tasteless, condescending, unprofessional piece of garbage "marketing" ploy I have ever seen.

Twice now they have pre authorized my card for $50+ each time for a $10 Starbucks order I placed for my daughter who's a freshman in Highschool. With no Their fees, business practices and policies are completely out of line. I will no longer utilize their services. Period

I bust my butt driving too much, delivering food in dangerous weather conditions, waste too much gas & put in too many miles in my car to only be compensated between $4-$8 for over a 30 minute drive. This should be like a Part time job for teenagers.

Be weary of using Postmates. I used it and had my work address saved in it and didn't realize till after I pushed submit order. I then tried to cancel the order and they still charged me $36 to cancel my order. I will not be using them anymore.

Don't waste your time ordering from this app... 98% of the time it will get canceled an hour after it tells you your order has been confirmed and is being prepared by the restaurant.

The restaurants don't even know they're using their menus. Once you've placed an order, a Postmate Driver will either call or go to the restaurant and place a to go order. That's why prices are so much higher and delivery times are always so long.

I'm currently working for Postmates and they treat us as if we don't have responsibilities and they will have you available but pull others and give them an order/orders for same location you are sitting. Pure waste of time and what they pay you is atrocious and some one needs to regulate them.

If our prepaid visa doesn't work or we have to return and get paid nothing. I just went to a delivery and my card didn't work at pickup. I got no response while there from Postmates. When I finally got theu the order was given to another driver. I was given a boat load of excuses as to why my card declined. None their fault. Go to Door Dash please!

A lot of customers will have a driver go to a busy restaurant and order their food, wait 30 minutes, and deliver to there apartment with no directions, and not leave a tip. I dont care how much you are dissatisfied with your order, you still tip the driver for wasting an hour of his time. If every delivery was like that for the driver his pay rate would be $4.00 per hour. If you dont tip then dont order the damn food.

This service is absolutely horrible! This was my very first time using this service and the very last! I normally use DoorDash or UberEats; however, on yesterday I decided to order from a restaurant online and the link directed me to Postmates! First off it the merchant did not have my items nor did the start on my order when I arrived! They cancelled my order! I watched them do so! I had to search far and wide just to find out how to reach any customer service for this service which is horrible for someone using the services! After learning I could only use email I emailed Postmates and advised what happened because the charges were still on my card and it was cancelled BY THE MERCHANT! Postmates has refused to give me a refund on a $40 order. I was out of my money and no food! Looking at these reviews I see that they are clearly a horrible service consistently! It's definitely not a service I will recommend to anyone I know! Overpriced and are a scam! Full of thieves!

You have no way to contact Postmates customer service directly, their drivers are always stealing something from you order, when you contact them for support they take more than 48 hours and then tell you they won't refund you because it's been more than 48 hours. I use to love this thing because I am so stupidly lazy, but this is BS. Back to Uber Eats I go.

Double charged me for my order and not refunding my money back. I am tired of explaining them the issue but they knowingly act like that they don't understand. Big scammers of all time. Do not order from them.

What a rip off! Their app doesn't work correctly and the restaurants substitute items and charge you for both! They cancel orders without letting you know and worst of all you can't call and their customer service is a joke!

Stay away at all costs!

I ordered and it said one price, then authorized double. The restaurant says they aren't even affiliated no contracts etc. then after my delivery, my $45 order was billed to me@ $113! I contacted the help and no response!

Horrible experience. Asked for a refund and never received it. They started billing me monthly, no idea why. I had to stop payment at my bank and ended up having to cancel my card to make sure they wouldn't charge me again. Awful company.

At checkout I was charged $26.00 including delivery. Then I was charged $40.00. It went down to $32.00 and then I was charged again $35.00. This is illegal and I don't appreciate my money being stolen. "I told them have screen shots of all these transactions! I want all my money back or I am making a police report! I work hard for my money and I will not let this issue go until it is resolved! I will call the news, paper, go online and tell the truth about this! Someone please do something about this or I will." Honestly I don't think they are gonna do nothing it was just a way for me to vent because I felt helpless. The lady even ordered extra this extra that when I never even wanted none of it. I've never felt so taken advantage of. Don't order with them they will do what they want with your money because they have full access to your bank account.

They didn't deliver and never notified me. Did nothing to correct the issue. Couldn't even get a live person to talk to about it. I will go out of my way to make sure I never have them deliver me food again.

Our son worked for Postmates a few summers ago and for that, we are thankful. We ordered a delivery yesterday to deliver from a restaurant tonight. We received confirmation via email. 20 minutes before the food was delivered, we received a message that the order was cancelled because there was nobody available to deliver the food. This is unprofessional and demonstrates an appalling lack of organization and leadership. Exacerbating the situation, there is nobody to call, email, or otherwise contact. We will never use Postmates again. Thankfully, there are other choices.

I work a lot and do not cook. I will pay for delivery food and have depended on postmates for about 8 months... however the past week I have been delivered 3 meals at a premium price (that were inedible and have had 2 ordered cancelled after the had been accepted). I have been a loyal customer and have paid hundreds for premium delivery cost ($13 delivery fee for some orders). I am done. They are not dependable and have ZERO customer loyalty. They last time I complained about inedible food they responded and thanked me for my feedback. Not getting the service I have paid for nightly for the past 8 months. DONE with Postmates. $13 is double and triple other delivery services. If they charge that much it should show in product and service. Shame on you postmates.

After ordering from Postmates the driver said he knocked on my door and ring my doorbell, waited five minutes, called, sent a text, which I heard none of and I was at my home because I ordered the food to be delivered there.
The driver left and took my food with him. I contacted Postmates through email "the only way you can contact them" and battled back-and-forth with a bunch of emails and they basically stated it's up to the drivers district discretion to leave the food at the front door of which I would've found two minutes later or take it back to the restaurant, postmates said in my case the driver returned the food to the restaurant. I called the restaurant, The food was never returned. Post mates refused to refund me any of the money, not even for my food Worst service ever!

The driver delivered my sushi order and left it at the front door, per my instruction. However, I did not receive a single notice from the driver, uber, nor postmates that the order was delivered. When I use grubhub, I get a notice when the order is ready, when it's picked up, when it's on its way, and when it's delivered. Postmates, however, did not send a single notice so I had NO IDEA the food (raw fish) was sitting outside for an hour in an 85 degree summer heat. Obviously the food was not edible and contacted postmates/uber. They responded several hours later stating they will not refund the order since I instructed them to leave at front door. The only reason I tried postmates is because they were offering a promo but their delivery fees are so high, I ultimately did not get any discount. I will stick to Grubhub in the future. Postmates/Uber is a joke. Horrible company followed by horrible customer support.

I ordered some food from stack located in Irvine. I went to stack and they told me my order was not in the system. Sadly they said my money cannot be refunded because I need to speak with someone from postmates. When I called the estimating waiting time was 54 minutes are you kidding me!
I will not use this service and I will not recommend it.

I ordered through Postmates previously and had a few issues with them overcharging me so I stopped using them! Decided to give them a second chance and that was a mistake! Ordered from restaurant really close to my house and noticed $8.99 service charge additional to $ 5.99 delivery fee. The customer service explanation was that the restaurant is not a part of their network so that's why the fee. Nowhere does it mention it on their website about it or the service fee. The receipt was included from the restaurant and there was not any additional charges. I feel a little deceived by them and of course they will not refund the charge! Be careful with this service! Delivery was on time and the order was correct!
