Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!
After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
Have not been able to order. Account suspended for no reason. Attempted to use multiple payment methods and even created a new account and paid for Post mates unlimited BS.
I recently tried using Postmates and my order was never delivered. We even saw what we assume to be the delivery driver drive up to our house and then turn around without dropping off our food. We reported the issue and were told that we would receive a "credit" for the cost of our order to use in the future. We then attempted to use the credit for another order. This time, we followed the delivery driver on the app once it said our pizza was out for delivery. However, the delivery driver was on the other use of town. We tried contacting the driver to see where our food was and received no response so after waiting 2 hours for pizza, we cancelled the order. I again was given a "credit" to use for a future order. I have been hesitant to use it with the fact that 2/3 orders made with this company were NOT delivered. I recently went to order again so I could use my credit/money and be done with the company, but to my surprise, my credit has expired. I reached out to the company and was told that because it's been expired for more than 2 days that they are unable to refund or return my credit to my account. This is theft. I want my money refunded. ($36.27)
I placed an order from Denny's online@ 8:15 am Sat. Called them 3 TIMES! Driver on the Way... by 11:35 driver arrives. Food cold... Threw Food in TRASH! DENNYS said order picked up at 8:45. Called POSTMATES!... UNACCEPTABLE! REFUND! REFUND REQUESTED! WILL BE PUT BACK IN YOUR ACCT 1-3 BUSINESS DAYS... 5 DAYS NO REFUND! Called company 4th time. "We have receipted. Will refund to your Acct. They say! LIARS! ONLY RECEIPT I NEED IS MY REFUND IN MY ACCT.! ALWAYS TRYING TO STEAL FROM THE CONSUMERS! BAD BUSINESS! RETURN MONEY AND GET RID OF USELESS DRIVERS. There were multiple things wrong with the order:
1) The delivery person calls me up and says the order is cancelled whereas the wesbite shows me it's "In Progress".
2) I get a message on my cell saying that it's about to delivered only to know that the delivery guys has the incorrect address. My address on the order and under my profile has correct and complete address with the correct pin code.
3) The website suddenly starts showing that order has been delivered. I don't know where and how it got delivered because I certainly didn't get it.
4) Now when I am calling the delivery guy it says the number is not a working number. Probably he blocked my number.
Now after waiting for more than an hour, here I am with no food whatsoever and money deducted from my account. This was my first time ordering with postmates and it was an awful experience.
I seriously wish I had seen this site before placing an order with them. I can see similar reviews from almost everyone. Looks like this company operates like that and make money out of people.
Their drivers don't follow instructions and often are quite late. They have even left my food outside without telling me where it was. Order at your own risk.
Wow disappointed again by your service! Dishonest and just awful! Cancel an order before every option closes smooth move kids. That's how responsible you can be at a job!

Yet again I've been sucked into the postmates web. I keep saying I'll never order again and then do. They are terrible! Accidentally over tipped and when I say overtopped I mean it was a 120% tip! They wouldn't refund me. They also ripped me off with a gift card my gf sent me! Charged me what the total was PLUS an extra 5 for I don't know what on our order! They don't respond to your customer support emails until it's way too late and when they do they basically tell you nothing and hey can't help.
POSTMATES IS A CROOKED ROBBING CO THAT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES LIKE DIRT! I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT AND CHOKE ON YOUR TEARS.

Wow. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this company could use a lot of improvement.

"Let me help you out with your concern." I wasn't helped at all. Postmates advertised a bogus signup promotion of $5 off first 5 orders (which still exists on the site by the way), and then I was given one free delivery as consolation when support couldn't figure it out. Their default offer of $100 in free delivery is better than that!
"We are not showing any promo codes applied to your account." I am looking right at it in my Account Settings. "Promos - 100% off Delivery Fee, Expires 9/22/2020, Next order only." If Postmates cannot see this in their OWN system then I am at a loss. No wonder the correct promo didn't get applied. Postmates can't even see the promos applied to their users' accounts!
I asked them if they could look into this issue further, and if they couldn't figure it out, please delete my account. They wrote back 2 MINUTES later. "I'm sorry to hear that you want to delete your account. I'd be more than happy to check this for you."

Have tried to use them now for the last time. Always say items we order are unavailable and have gone as far as cancelling our order. NOT RELIABLE! Use another delivery food company.
I was on the computer when my husband decided he would like a sub and asked me to order one. Instead of going to my phone and ordering through the app or typing in jerseymikes.com, I just googled Jersey Mikes and a table came up with order, website, and directions buttons. I clicked on order, put in our order and payment and my husband left for the store. Then it hit me that the price I paid was more than I remembered paying in the past. I went to the official Jersey Mikes website and sure enough, the #17 Mike's Famous Philly cheese steak sub was $14.75 ($15.71 with tax) on the website - I had just paid $17.85 ($19.01 with tax) using the 'order' button. I was upset. I cut coupons. We decided to get a sub for dinner because I received a message earlier saying we would receive double points if we purchased a sub today and by using the 'order' button I wound up paying $3.30 more for the same sub and NO double points!
I immediately called the store and spoke to a person who called over the manager. The manager told me I had to call the place where I placed the order - I did not realize I did not order through Jersey Mikes and could not find who I ordered through. I finally realized 'Postmates' was a delivery service - which I didn't want. I tried contacting them and got no where - the 'live chat' disconnected me. By this time my husband had returned with the sub - we always get the giant and split it as it is cheaper - and we ate it. It was delicious, but I had this bitter taste in my mouth from being 'taken advantage of.'

My family is sickened right now. We were shorted a drink, we got a salad we didn't order, the burger was devoid of the toppings we ordered and THERE WERE HUGE BITES TAKEN OUT OF ONE OF THE BURGERS.
This was from Fatburger and Fatburger gave us a hard time about replacing anything. I just want to throw it all away and probably will, despite my husband going ape **** and demanding replacements. I mean I don't know if this guy put his gross hands into my fries, sipped out of the side of one of the drinks, or whatever.
I am absolutely, literally shocked. NEVER AGAIN.

Not only did they charge me full price and not honor their advertisement which is false advertising. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT WITHOUT DELIVERING IT. The only way to contact customer service is by trying to cancel your order. THEY NEED REPORTED TO BBB

I have ordered from postmates twice and each time they messed up my order. The first time ordered subway, they forgot all of the toppings even tomatoes. My second order which was today because i was starving and couldnt leave work, was from chic-fil-a. My food was really cold and to top it off my sandwich was missing the pepper jack cheese and extra pickles they didnt even get me pickles. I AM NEVER USING POSTMATES AGAIN BECAUSE THIS IS FREAKING TERRIBLE.
Apparently they sit outside with your food and text you after they drove away...
Oh and the company keeps your money, as a credit... ummm I will not be using you again.

On https://postmates.com, I was going to buy something from Walgreen until I noticed that site was unsecured. This means anyone can see what you are doing while on the site even your bank information. I hope everyone is aware of this. I just had my account deleted. It is probably why so many customers are complaining because something is shady with the site. I will deal with Doordash or Grubhub at least when I am on the site, it is secured all the way to paying with my bank card. All I know is you have to watch your browser up in the left corner to make sure that the lock symbol is there because I was on a site where it was unlocked meaning the site I am on is not secured. I do believe there may be another site out there trying to get people's information. I cleared my history and went on another browser and I saw the lock is secured even when I acted like I was going to order something, the site seems secure. The site just sometimes looks questionable to me. I will on the sites that I know and that is Doordash or Grubhub. So far I have not an issue with this type of unsecured with their sites at all.
I ordered from postmates because they offered free delivery. I ordered a small pizza and the website made me add 4 toppings to the pizza when I only wanted one. The price I agreed to was $13 dollars. My order came 2 hours late and was cold. I complained to postmates about this and they offered a $10 credit to my account that I HAD to use within 5 days. Two days later I checked my account and was charged over $32 dollars for the small pizza and also had a $13 dollar pending transaction, which was the original amount I was supposed to pay. I contacted postmates for a refund and they told me that the $13 dollars was a "ESTIMATED" charge! I would have NEVER agreed to pay over 30 DOLLARS for a small pizza! They NEVER informed me of the price change and NEVER got my authorization for this charge. I am DISGUSTED WITH POSTMATES AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
I ordered through the web using Postmates as the delivery service. I gave easy to follow instructions guiding them to my apartment on the second floor. The delivery driver didn't even attempt to approach my door, and simply left the order in the lobby on a bench.
When I contacted Postmates' customer service, less than 10 minutes after the delivery, I reported it, and requested them to reduce the tip amount (I thought that would be sufficient).
They emailed me 20 minutes later, and said "thank you for the feedback".
When I responded, and told them it wasn't just for feedback, that I wanted to reduce the tip, it took another 20 minutes for them to get back to me, and they said I had up to an hour after delivery to change the tip.
I said okay, go ahead and change the tip since it's still within an hour, and in another 20 minutes I received a response that basically said, "now it's not, sorry".
Terrible customer service, terrible delivery service, and I'll make sure never to use them again.
I normally never use Postmates, usually Seamless or DoorDash, but I had a $15 off promo so I placed a order through my web browser because the app was so glitchy and wouldn't even open. After nearly 2 hours and the delivery person changed 5 times, the order was cancelled on me with no reason. There is NO customer service number to contact. The website is NOT user friendly and took me 10 minutes to locate a chat bot function to which I received no response. There was no explanation, refund of my promo, or promo offered to makeup for the inconvenience. This is honestly the WORST experience with a delivery service I've ever had and reaffirms why I use DoorDash and Seamless. I am not one to post negative reviews but this was beyond frustrating and I want to spare others from this experience. NEVER USE POSTMATES.
Food was never delivered, the driver lied and said she did and told them I confirmed, I did not and they refuse to give me my money back. This is a crime and they need to know it is NOT ok.

Two hours ago I decided to try Postmates and have Chick-fila delivered. After waiting an hour, the Postmate neither came to my door or even found the lobby of my apartment. When I dared miss the call, after returning it 30 seconds later, they took my food, left, and charged me the full $48 for the delivery. I got no food (someone else did, I suppose and got to eat my dinner?) and they didnt find me. Never, NEVER in my life have I been thus treated.
