Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!

After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Postmates charged my card 100$ on day when I did not even order food. Despite the fact that this is illegal, they did not even provide an explanation for this. I highly recommend people NOT use their service. They will perform unauthorized charges on your account, and their customer service is highly unprofessional. I have never left a review for a restaurant or delivery service. But this was so bad that I had to.

Terrible service. My friend let us use his debit card, but the charge was disputed. Even though I've switched my account back to using my own card, which works fine, they have put a freeze on my account. When I wrote to the support team, they said I had to get my friend to provide bank statements to unfreeze my account?! Bull$#*!. Use doordash, eat24, or grub hub. Awful company

The app charged to incorrect card for the purchase, and when I reached out to the company they were less than willing to work with me on this issue, which was infact, their issue.

I have deleted the app from my phone and will be a strong advocate against using this company.

Their suggested times were highly inaccurate, they did not charge the correct card, and their customer service is some of the worst.

False advertising. Poor customer service. Undecided only to make the wrong decisions. They are absolute trash. In writing they will tell you you will get 100 dollars off, but when you don't and you actually call them, after 10 minutes they assure you that this will apply as 99 cents for your next 100 orders, if you are lucky. Absolute trash.

After waiting over an hour for a burger from a fast food restaurant app said my order was delivered! NOPE!
Never received order! Called to complain and got some agent (probably in India), couldn't even understand her!
Stop giving this company business! They suck!

They do not care about customer loyalty. They treat you as though you mean nothing at all as a customer. I contacted them regarding one of many discount codes they send me daily. Apparently it didn't work through their system. I was given no indication whatsoever whether or not promo code was accepted or denied. I simply waited several days post order to find that I had not been credited. It was five dollars. After a series of round and round emails, I was told to look out for future promo codes to use. I told them this was unacceptable. They did not care. $5.00 was much too much to give up to keep me as a loyal customer. I deleted my account. They could care less. What flourishing business gives up a customer for $5.00? Postmates does.

I will select a chain restaurant in Vancouver, WA yet, on multiple times, the order is redirected to Portland, Oregon?

I canceled an order to Panda Express because that location is actually located inside Airport terminal and no way for driver to park their car and retrieve. I've complained with live person previously and it's still happening.

Why I'm so angry is because this happened once again yesterday. Within 30 seconds I hit cancel, yet my Bank Account has $30.00+ Pending on hold. I think this is horrible and yes, as previous complaints have stated, it's a scam. I did not receive any goods or services yet you received my money. On a large scale somebody making out or laundering funds?

Are you trying to build up local business after letting looters & rioters ruin downtown. IDN, but I'm mad.

Postmates needs to go out of business in 2019. They are consistently stealing from deivers $1 here and $2 there so it becomes difficult to make a big deal about $1 and whenever I do complain about delivery fees being short they either #1 ignore me or #2 say their payout is correct and thats that. They have multiple drivers claiming the same issues. They leave drivers in bad situations all the time. You cant see drop off location until after food is picked up. They say walmart deliveries pay more, but they simply pay less delivery fee so every thing will add up to $4 plus it takes way more time to complete a wall mart delivery for no extra pay. They force customers to tip so they will never tip more than $1 which makes it tough. The complaints pile high and its the management disingenuous responses that makes me leave a review

What a scam! I cant believe they are still in this business! Super expensive, no customer service, multiple charges and the one way i found to complain/explain what happened with me i got an automated reply?! Really? Its 21st century. DO NOT ORDED!

Was supposed to get free delivery with "Postmates party". Was still charged a delivery fee, plus other charges that were not authorized beforehand. At least let me know beforehand that there'll be $10+ extra tacked on to my order so I can close the app and pick up the food myself.
Wait time for customer service is currently 1hr+.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use Postmates.

Just wanted to say I am not impressed! First time user and I was trying to order food for sick son... Found late night place, ordered food. Let him know it would be delivered so he didn't have to leave his apt... 20 minutes later I receive an order cancellation! You should not allow your merchants to cancel after an order is received! Really poor service... Now still hungry sick person who could have already gone out has to wait even longer?. Either turn off ordering ahead of time or agree to take orders! Don't cancel after the customer thinks he has an order coming... really reflects bad on you. Make strict agreements with merchants to follow and don't allow them to be on your website if agreement is not honored! Very very disappointed in my first attempt Postmates needs to get their act together! Poor!

There isn't enough time in the day to address all of the problems with this service. My feedback can be reduced to: absolutely disgusting customer service. I've never been offered actual help, assistance, or anything to make up for wasted orders, incorrect orders, orders that show up 2 hours late, etc - these are all things that I've experienced in my ~10 orders.

Second, there is no obvious way for the customer to voluntarily reach out to the Postmate before they pick up the order.

As it stands, this service has costed at least an extra hundred dollars so far - and not so much as an apology or offer of a single free delivery service. I understand that people will gauge you if you let them, but WOW. You'd think a SF company in 2017 would be a little most customer facing. HA.

5 thumbs down, zero stars, and I look forward to one of your competitors doing it better.

NEVER EVER AGAIN. The customer service folks just give a canned reply when you tell them half of what you ordered didn't show up... issue a $5.00 credit when there is over $12.00 of food missing! Theft! I'll take it up with my Credit Card company. I'm pretty sure these shysters won't last for much longer. They are so dishonest.

Drivers are ridiculously rude and unprofessional. Neisha in Raleigh had me stand outside texting rude remarks refusing to tell me car type or call. Charged it as delivered after I waited outside for 10 minutes, no other driver has an issue. Zero customer service support. A stupid automated response. I was billed and now have no dinner. Another meal needs to be sent out or I need a same day refund. I'm cancelling unlimited and switching to Uber eats.

They chronically cancel your orders after waiting for hours. I had six in one month! They then promise to give you a credit for your troubles and never deliver on it. Their fees are outrageous and make no sense to even deal with paying a membership for the pleasure of being ripped off. They have made unauthorized charges on my account to the point I had to take it up with my bank and have them investigated bc there is no real way of getting ahold of these a holes. Do not use them. You will be so sorry. I thought door dash was Satan but these people are lucifer's big evil step-daddy. I literally hate them and wish them every horrible thing that can ever happen to a human being on everyone that works for that scam artist company.

7 times out of 10 lately our food has been extremely wrong. Example order pepperoni pizza and get Hawaiian. Ordered potato skins and got sliders. They refuse to refund the mistakes they make. Paid 51 dollars for a meal. One 11 dollar item was missing. Would not refund me the missing item. Stay Away!

I had a horrible nightmare experience after several OK experiences. I placed an order from a spot 5 min from my house at 6:22 pm. I was promised the food would arrive at 6:53 pm. I thought, Great! Then, The website delivery times kept increasing. Currently it is listed at 8:25 pm delivery. I have contacted Customer Service (only available by email) and the best I have received is "don't worry, your food is on its way" and no empathy for the fact that my family has been waiting now for over an hour vs. the spected delivery time. Completely unacceptable. Not sure if I will ever use them again. Great concept, severely flawed execution.

Would give zero stars if possible. Tried Postmates for the first time because the restaurant I wanted to try used them. Received confirmation of my order. About 10 minutes AFTER my food was scheduled to be delivered(and too late at night to order elsewhere) I received the message that delivery was cancelled because they, well, had no delivery people. To add insult to injury, the email I received said "don't worry" because they will credit the charge against my NEXT ORDER! Customer [non]service says they'll "try" to respond within 3 business days. Planning to report this as credit card fraud if no better response is received.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE POSTMATES for any delivery. they cancelled and will not credit my charge card for their own failure. Am reporting as credit card fraud.

I was ordering pizza for a small Halloween work party and was referred to Postmates by local restaurant staff. Long story short, a temporary hold hit my account, but I never got the food. The charge, which was more than the total, was eventually credited back to my account but that's not my major problem with Postmates. The website is not user friendly, and it is merely IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a live person. The site does not list a number to contact, it only shuffles you from link to link to link to link. Even writing a review on this company was a hassle and I think it's done purposely. Someone from their support staff eventually emailed me back, but when you're scrambling to pull together a lunch and not sure if your order was received, eventually getting back isn't good enough. I would not take the chance on their services again, especially when you're in a crunch and have no room for errors and hiccups. I called another restaurant with onsite deliverers and there were no problems.

I placed an order that totaled 18.00. When I went to pay the tip the total was 40.00 before tip. I still tipped not the drivers fault. I contacted postmates and received generic responses except one that explained if the restaurant is not partnered with postmates then the total may be different but double? Bad business. Especially during these times. I kept trying to get a receipt for the breakdown. Never got one and now my emails are being ignored. Stay away from postmates, no integrity or support if it does not benefit themselves. I only wanted to see what charges were higher. I was never emailed a final receipt and it is not shown on my app. Just the original amount I thought I was going to be charged, but bank account shows double.

I believe it takes two in every situation. The delivery service as in Postmates and the vendor in this case Blaze Pizza both are responsible for getting food to you hot and an orderly manner that did not happen. Blaze Pizza would not refund my money, and said I had to go to Postmates because they were the delivery service even though I didn't go through Postmates I was on hold with Postmates for over an hour and my last 2 minutes, a recording came on and said my wait time is now another hour that kept happening I have yet to speak to them about a refund! Never go through Postmates! Never go through a restaurant that won't credit your account or offer to help in any way! Horrible

Down loaded postmates because of 50% off first five orders. I then placed my order promo code rejected. Postmates then tells you this is only for delivery service. With their fees my order came to be 3 dollars less than original amount. The promo from postmates is a scam that takes money from local stores in the area. Becuase you started out shady Will not use this app ever.

No other info.

Products used:
None tried to use their food delivery. Felt that their tactics were a little shadowy.

I ordered from there once and as soon as the driver handed my my food, everything feel through the bag because it was soaking wet. I paid for a drink and they gave me an empty cup. I also randomly had 60 dollars pending on my account when my order was only 20 dollars. NEVER AGAIN

This was my first time ordering via Postmates. The delivery guy called and texted me that he couldn't find my house. I told him exactly where to go and also sent him the address again via text. He was supposedly 5 blocks away. After waiting outside for 15 minutes, I went back inside. Tried to find contact information for Customer Service. Practically impossible. Now it's been over 1.5 hours and I need to go in search of food. If they charge my credit card, I will be calling the bank.

Before they returned my upfront deposit as soon as my order arrived but this time my phone froze up "before" the order was accepted so I had no choice but to cancel not knowing it actually was already accepted. They gave me my money back for the actual food on the spot but tried to keep my deposit. Ignored my emails demanding to know what was going on. Not feeling too great about them. Second time around: charged me a 52 dollar deposit on an 18 dollar bottle of wine and then when they finalized the transaction by actually charging the 18, they gave back the 52 for like two seconds then took it again. Thieves. Disputed with my bank.
