Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!
After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
I ordered some $9 Chick-fil-A and my total came out to be $21.50. I was confused about that because I thought I had $100 in free deliveries. I go in check my bank 2 days later and saw that they charged $30 as well as $21.50. Customer service has not responded and they probably never will. Please do NOT use this service.
I place order and five minutes later receive a text indicating one of my items in not available -- no problem. I then send a text back (and subsequently, five emails) asking which item is not available. Finally get an answer, adjust order and continue on. After twenty minutes get an email saying the restaurant not currently taking orders -- and mine has been cancelled. Wasted 25 minutes of my time. Why have the restaurant on your web site if not currently taking orders? Why have a "support" option if not going to respond? The one email i did receive back from customer support was auto-generated and did not address my issues.
I ordered using this service on Friday May 8th. After waiting 40 minutes with no communication, I called the restaurant. They informed me that the service was still trying to find someone to deliver my order and confirmed the food was still there. I went online and cancelled at that point. I have been unable to obtain a refund from them and I've been trying for almost a week. $21.09 gone because of their delinquent service. Please do yourself a favor and use door dash.
If I could give them a negative zero I would. Made a order with postmates, order was submitted completely wrong. Got refunded and postmates charged my card double for refunded item. After several back and forth messages through email where they repeatedly said the same thing (copy and paste responses) the issue is still unresolved. And I have a negative balance on my card. Will not be using their services again and will be posting to all my social media accts so my friends will not use this service.
I placed an order with a promotional code. When I submitted it the code was not applied so I immediately cancelled it. They took my money and when I spoke to 3 different service reps they would not refund my money that was confirmed as cancelled. It was 1 minute but they said the restaurant already had my food ready. Complete crap and bullsh*t. Worst customer service EVER and I will never use their services, total scam of a company!

I ordered food from a restaurant. It was supposed to be delivered between 12:30 and 1 PM. I ordered it at 11 AM. They pre-authed the debit card for the full amount, $38 including their exorbitant fees. At 12:15 I get an email "whoops, we had to cancel your order" with no explanation, and "don't worry - we didn't charge your card" which is a lie! They suck.
I had a fradulent charge from you twice in april. I submitted my info two weeks ago with no one contacting me back. I have called a 5 times in those two weeks with no one being able to give me any sort of update. I have also been talked rudely to and placed on hold while i was explaining my frustrations to an employee. Postmates has the worst customer service i have experienced in my life. Funny thing is, i was never a customer. Only the person who stole my card information was. However upon trying to deal with Postmates to resolve this situation, i see how they treat their customers and I refuse to ever order through them. I will be filing a lawsuit about my fraudulent charges and the lack of communication or concern on Postmates end.
Postmates owes me 400$! They never paid me for the week and it's been a month and this is the page they give you to scam you out of your money. There is no way to talk to a human and all of their customer service is computer generated that takes you to a dead end.
I am a little disappointed in postmates because when I order food I can not put any special notes for the restaurant or driver. At my mothers she's in a gated community and we can't give any directions on how to get in or what to do. I hope this issue is fixed soon so the orders can be more convenient for people. I also wish for the ability to have the notes because I can't eat mayonnaise so after ordering I have to call the restaurant and request for them to not put it on my order.
I placed an order for an ink cartridge from Staples which cost 22.99 with tax about 24.99.
They charged $56 for the ink cartridge and added an $11.99 service fee!
Mind you they never showed any service fee charge before placing the order. How is this business still running, cheating people like this?!?!
On top of that... no live customer service. You can only send an email through the help section. And... they force you to leave a tip. If you don't leave a tip for your last order, you cannot get into your account to view anything!
Postmates is scan - please do not use this to order anything. They will take the funds from your account and will not forward the order to the merchant as such, you will not get the product. They have the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Only online customer service help and wait time is about 2hrs. Worst of all the customer service will ot resolve any issues but only apologize and state that their system is down. I'm still waiting on my refund for a purchase from June. RUN

This delivery man ruined birthday dinner.
I ordered 3 lbs of $3/lb chicken breast. Without even contacting me, he decided to bring a little over 1 lb of $7/lb chicken breast! So I end up with less than half of what I needed for more than double the price!
He also "couldn't find" any type of garlic. Right.
Also totally ignored the delivery instructions. Instead decided to call me and waste time arguing with me about what I'm telling him to do vs what the gps is telling him to do.
Stupid.
And they refused to refund me for the double prices chicken. :)

The worst place to order food, my food was $15 dollars I ordered some general chicken from a chinese restaurant they charged me over 30$. I live in LA and drive to Hollywood to make deliveries. Made about 60 deliveries in 4 days and earned $470. If u provide fast n friendly service people usually tip. Sometimes alot more then you'd expect lol thinking about starting it full time, alot less stressful then my job and pay rate is about the same
Order was delivered but missing a couple of items. I let customer support know and was told they couldn't refund the missing items but I could call the merchant or let the driver know. What? It's not my job to chase down a refund when I paid Postmates. Will never use them again. There are far too many other delivery services out there to settle for one that steals from you.

I got a coupon to wave the delivery fee, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered 6.50 worth of food, and the final total was 12.00ish with with taxes and restaurant fees (high but whatever). Well overnight I got an alert from bank account and fount out the cost had been updated overnight, adding a "service fee" (total BS). I was ultimately charged 16.86 for the order! BTW the delivery charge would have been 5.99, meaning they would regularly charge 22.85 for a 6.50 meal BEFORE TIP (which I did $2 cash). This service is $#*!ed; there are way better delivery options out there.
You need to make improvements to your delivery service. Took 2 hours for a 45-60 mins order. The driver was suppose to be at my apt by 9:21 and didn't get to me until 10:30pm. He went to another damn borough when my order was only a 10 mins drive away because he had other orders to deliver. How the hell did he end of in another borough 30 mins away from where I live. You need to make improvements immediately or you are not going to have a successful business. I will never use you to order anything again.
I ordered from Shanghai Mammas in Cincinnati ohio plainly stated all meat on side with other intructions. All other intructions were followed except meat. Also asked for extra rice. All rice was grouped in one bowl and meat was added. Husband and daughter are allergic to shrimp. So all of the food was un editable. Full charge was $19. Plus sent picture explained in 10 emails and they would only refund half of the order. Unacceptable. Horrible service
I ordered a pizza for delivery. It was $50 and ten minutes from my house. It took 2 hours to get it and it was cold as ice. I can't wait to post the terrible service all over social media and let everyone know how not to use postmates.

I first placed an order with them, asked the delivery guy to call me at my desk when he arrived, so that I could run downstairs and meet him so that he didn't have to take time looking for our suite. I went down to meet him, and could not find him. I tried to call him back, and the number would not take return calls, so I waited for over 20 minutes, and the guy didn't have the sense to call me back and ask me where I was! So, no lunch! Now, I just decided to give them one more chance. I placed an order, looked online to see where it was in the ordering process, and guess what? The business closed over a year ago, yet Postmates had them listed on their site and even let me place an order with them! Idiots! I will be closing my account with them and taking their app off of my phone! Steer clear of Postmates!
Worst customer service ever! Will stick to doordash or grubhub! Takes forever to get a hold of someone and once you do no one can do anything to help you! Had a hair in my food and was offered NOTHING!
They didn't honor my promo code and the food came cold. I would never recommend this to anyone. It's not worth the money. They didn't seem to care that the order was satisfactory. They don't know anything about customer service.
I had some issues with a Postmates order and called customer service. After 15 minutes on the phone waiting, I reached the customer service person. She asked me a few questions about my issue, but said before helping me, she needed my social security number. What? Why would she need my social security number in order to refund money to my card. After hanging up, she repeatedly called me from a different phone number. Never use this service, it's overpriced and a scam.
I ordered from Postmates thinking there prices were reasonable and delivery charges were cheap. Boy was I wrong! First off they overcharged me by $10 after my order was already made, then when I contacted them they said there vendors can change their prices at anytime. Even after I provided the screenshot of their prices they're like, "There price listed quote un quote is an estimate" BULLCRAP... I will never use postmates ever again nor will I recommend them! They didn't even try to offer any credit or nothing! Worst customer service and business ever and I never write reviews but postmates is horrible.
