“Whitepages provides you access to mobile numbers that is hard to find.”

Its a good website, each customer just need to read the terms of service of the small check box that they ave to agree stating that its an auto renewal service and they can cancel at anytime once they are sign in to their accounts or contact customer support to cancel for them. Therefore, nothing is wrong with the apart from people not reading what they are signing up for.

Top Critical Review

“Not Really Worth Paying $22 A Month For.”

There were many times where I felt cheated and ripped off. I would run searches on spam/scam caller numbers and there would be "no name associated with that number." They had the gull to make this sound like it "rarely occurs" but in my experience it occurred most of the time. Other times former owners of the number (including but not limited to long deceased people) would show up in search results for a number that just called me. In a few instances, a name of a fictional character would come up. It's really like "what am I paying for here?"

As a recent subscriber to White Pages Premium I quickly found out that the service was strictly a telephone search engine for a monthly fee of $29.95 and should you want any other background information on the individual you were able to do (one check a month) Any additional came as a cost of of 18.95 per inquiry. Sorry, White Pages, your Premium Package is not a service that makes sense when so many can offer better for less. And as a recent comparison to other search services I have read you were rated as inferior. Best wishes to improve.

My father was talking to a person and they ran a report and it is so ridiculously incorrect. When you type in a person's name it should be more specific. They have all kinds of horrible information that is against my dad's character it is disgusting. This site needs to be closed down or get their facts straight just went through 42 pages of absolute nonsense. That in 2-3 pages was actually my dad. I am appalled to think of how this site is ruining people's lives.

I purchased a review of someone. And a year later they kept sending me emails that this person had an addition to their criminal record. I didn't bite at first, but then I did purchase a new report for $20 and guess what. No changes! NOTHING NEW. The criminal record had traffic violations 10 years old. They bait you with "Criminal" and it's old traffic stops. DO Not fall for this as I did. I will pursue the refund with AMEX.

When you are out trying to find a phone number and you really need it - the $20 doesn't seem like a huge deal. Until you see that they have charge you for the next month. Completely not worth the money. I approached them about a refund for the current month and basically got told it was in the fine print. NEVER AGAIN.

I have tried to check a couple numbers that have robots called me. They were uninformative. So out of curiosity I checked my number, and the numbers if known businesses, my work, etc. that are established and public information and not one of them had a single piece of accurate information. This is not a service, it is a website that does not function but for some reason still exists.

The numbers are rarely right, the info WP provides is basic info that I can get for free, I was hoping to find accurate cell phone numbers. The website is always malfunctioning and sometimes iI can't even login, forget about reaching customer service - it's non-existent!

When I joined Whitepages Premium several years ago, it was excellent. The info I got was up to date and I could keep up with my high school friends. In the past year or so, they even have my info wrong--people I have never heard of are listed as relatives. A lot of the addresses they have are wrong or out of date. They often list people that have died. And it's really difficult to try to have it corrected. It truly is better than nothing.

Tip for consumers:
How they were so great when I first signed up, but how did they become so undependable. Very often when they show "current address" it is the one they have moved from. They used to give you previous addresses with the dates they lived there but now they only show you a bunch of addresses. Like I said, they were so good but you can't count on them any longer.

My stalker called me out of the blue after over 5 years. I looked up my whitepages.com information and discovered they somehow had my current phone number there despite my being careful to only give it out to individuals and NEVER grant approval to any entity to share my information. Whitepages.com also merged all of the addresses I have ever lived at, including family addresses, leaving my family exposed to the stalker. Their opt-out option is a JOKE and a LIE. When I clicked on the opt out button and followed their instruction to paste the URL of my name, entire date of birth, phone numbers & addresses, it did NOT remove my information. I received a message that I had too many requests (when I only had the ONE request), and I needed to add my e-mail address to create a "ticket" - which is a thinly veiled attempt to just complete their information about me! They have no conscience and do not care if they cost people their lives. How many deaths did they directly cause?

Tip for consumers:
If you inquire on anyone, they add you to their e-mail spam list and also LIE about people you've searched about having new information. There IS NO NEW INFORMATION. Also, how embarrassing to have these names appear in e-mails to you forever! EG you are sending out Christmas cards, look up someone's address ... someone who has CHOSEN to be listed ... and you receive e-mails about them forever, as though you are stalking them.

I signed up yesterday.
Today I logged out so my wife could log in on her machine.
She could not log in.
I tried on my machine... and i can no longer log in.
I asked for a password reset, gave them my email, and a box appeared saying if I entered the email I signed up with, a link will be sent to it.
I did it FIVE TIMES and never got the link.
The email addy is on my receipt!
I had to submit a request and still have heard nothing.
My guess is I'll hear the day after they charge my card another month.
Always check reviews FIRST!... DOH!

In an emergency I needed to look up the phone number of a colleague. I paid the $4.99 and in the moment it was worth it because I did get the phone number I needed. I immediately cancelled the subscription on the website. A month later they charged me another $4.99. I realized I never received the cancellation confirmation. So I logged in to my account and it did not indicate that I cancelled, so I completed the cancellation steps a second time. I still did not receive a cancellation email, so I took a screenshot of the messaging online as proof that I did indeed cancel. I called my credit card company to ensure that I don't get charged again next month. Ridiculous! I'll use a different site in the future if I need this kind of info.

Tip for consumers:
Shop around before using this site.

Trying to track down a family member whitepages listed Atkins, AR as one of the addresses. That was an address I have not seen with this person before. So I paid for a month so I could get the address. Wouldn't you know NO Atkins AR address in the premium report!

I originally only wanted to search up one person so I signed up for the 1 dollar 5 day membership option, I found very minimal information about the person I was searching for and I thought I thought I had cancelled the membership. Two months later I come to find I've been charged $40 that is non refundable, for a service I haven't even used in two months. Despite this their premium membership is most certainly not worth $20, spend your money elsewhere.

I asked for information about my brother-in-law. What was returned was an address for him that said he had lived at this address for 22 years. I don't know if he lives there or (I would think for $10 that would be a minimum of current correct address) not. He has certainly not lived there for 22 years. Other places he lived were Frankston, TX; Gainesville, FL, New Jersey, etc.

I ran lookups on two cell phone numbers, mine and my wifes, both of us have had the same numbers for nearly 15 years. In both cases a small amount of the info was correct, but lots of it was info from other family members. Stating incorrect past residences, and all kinds of other wrong info.

I was looking for a cell number for an old friend, I searched the basic white pages site. They had my friend listed but the cell phone information was redacted. They stated I would need to sign up for their premium service to obtain this information. I signed up and paid, but they did not provide any cell number information, they didn't really have it, it only appeared that they did. Waste of $5.

Paid over one hundred dollars for premium package. After getting it I find out I only have a short amount of look up. It gives you very small amount of information and tells you that you have to pay more to unlock more. Within a month you can't even access the people that you paid to do a search on. All of the information disappears and you have to pay again to see the same information. Less than a month and I can't do anymore searches but it says that I have a year membership. CAN YOU SAY T H E I V E S!

Whitepages has been taking my $4.99 and it can not be used on my IOS 12 pro plus device. They're really slick too and completely rip us off. The app states it's compatible yet alll you can do is open the app nothing else, AT ALL, will open at any given time. What a rip-off.
Don't buy into what it states on your Application app because it's straight up LIES!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I don't understand how you guys pay $100 for this crap. I won't even spend $1. If they have your card number forget it. Money keeps coming out. The info is alllll wrong and you keep sending me alerts that I have a new number. Ummm. No. You look up someone and then it sends you back so it counts as two. Then every number every name, email etc counts. The info is wrong and they scam you out of money. They start charging your card for everything after a report or two. Then if they can't charge your card they go for your paypal. Watch out total scam. Then you can never get ahold of anyone to get your money back. Total waste of time, money and energy, oh and brain cells. My head hurts now lol...

With WhitePages Premium I get phone numbers, addresses, relatives and other trivial data. This is hardly more than I can get for free using Google search.
