We booked four hotel rooms in Paris for three nights via prestigia for June. The borders are still closed and we are unable to make our trip. Prestigia refuses to provide any form of credit despite the French government citing that all travel and booking agencies are required to provide reservations through September 2020 with a travel voucher to be used within 18 months. Terrible company who is profiteering off of this terrible situation. I will never book with prestigia again.

Do not book here they are frauds, do not give your bank details once you book they say that the booking has been unsuccessful meanwhile they've already took the money from your account. Also to make things worse they don't tell you that your transaction was confirmed.

Terrible customer service. There was a glitch on the Prestigia website that very clearly indicated that I could cancel my booking, free of charge. Despite this, when I canceled I was charged the full amount for the booking, and was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. They were not able to reinstate my booking, give me a refund or credit toward a future booking, despite the obvious issue on their end with their website. I will never use Prestigia again.

Their website had a glitch that caused my credit card to be charged twice for two separate bookings. I immediately contacted them to notify them of the discrepancy and they refused to cancel the second erroneous booking. I then attempted to cancel the first booking and they refused to refund my money for that in spite of "free cancellations" being advertised. They will steal you money. Do not do business with them.

I booked hotel for 7/15 on 6/30. Reservation states free cancelation until 7/14. Canceled reservation on 7/1. First response is "non refundable". After pointing out the "free cancelation", they REFUSE to to give credit back my card. Instead, future use credit. Complete bull, I disputed the charge. Screw them. Scam!

So far so good. Good price and the site works well. I'm a little concerned because the phone number is not in the US and we will just have to wait to see if the reservation actually goes through and I could confirm the reservation with the hotel directly.

Wish I had read these other reviews. Pandemic hits - I canceled before the "free cancelation " period and they WILL NOT refund the money, which they charged me ahead of time. I had no idea they'd charge me the full stay up front! They are crafty - they hide the important info. And now I'm out $1900. Screw this company. Avoid them! I didn't even realize who they were as my reservation via Trivago went to them!

I am a bit worried as I have not heard of this company before, but to book the hotel it forward me to this website from Trivago. I cannot comment on my experience as I booked room online yesterday and that was it. I am still yet to hear from the hotel itself.

I booked a hotel room through Prestigia, with full and free cancellation terms. However, when using my cancellation right Prestigia refuses to repay, thus stealing my money. The hotel has not received any money and have confirmed that they respect the free cancellation policy.

This is a total scam of a company. On their website they offer free cancellation and once you book, even if you cancel right away, even on the same call as when you booked it, they will still not refund you. They also did not inform me that if I cancel my hotel my money would not be returned. I also did not get a cancellation confirmation, I was only informed I would not receive the money well after I cancelled. They count on the fact that people do not screenshot free cancellation before booking.

I think the 1 star is for the fact that they do reply to an email, otherwise it would be zero... if that was an option.
We had booked a hotel room in Montreal in March that had to be cancelled due to Covid. I realize that these are tricky times, particularly for travel industry, but to wait 8 months for a refund on money that I have paid is ridiculous. I've emailed them hoping to resolve this without leaving an unfavourable review, the reply back is always the same... unprescedented times, they are only allowed a certain amount to be refunded per day by their bank... Never again. How do you run a business like that?

Never again - Prestigia – Jamais, plus jamais!
In August 2020 I booked a ski trip for the 2021 winter... surprise, I was charged & debited € 273 (so no free reservation) on the pretext that the hotel request the payement of 1 night when the booking is higher than 3 days – which is totally false!
In October I canceled my reservation and although my rate promised free cancellation I was not refunded!
Flee …

If I could give them negative stars I would.

I booked a hotel with them, then cancelled it (or so I thought), and later rebooked. Apparently, my cancellation didn't go through (some computer or WiFi connectivity issue), but I didn't know this until the day I checked in.

Even though the hotel was more than willing to ignore the 2nd booking, Prestigia insisted on charging me for BOTH bookings. Prestigia even admitted that the bookings were identical (same hotel, room type, dates, and same 3 people on the room) and that their system would have flagged it as a duplicate had the 2nd arrived closer in time to the first one, but because the 2 bookings were 12 hours apart, they insisted on charging for both because I "didn't cancel by their deadline." Again, the hotel was happy to forgo the 2nd charge, but Prestigia insisted on charging me despite knowing/understanding that it was a computer glitch. Talk about greedy and inconsiderate. I'll never use them again.

I booked a hotel in Namibia through prestigia which was pre-paid. Once arriving at the hotel, there was no reservation for me and the hotel was booked for the night. Being in a new country, with no hotel room was frightening. Luckily the hotel found me a room in another nearby hotel. I've emailed prestigia repeatedly for a refund and all I get are emails saying they are still "investigating". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will cheat you out of your money! Terrible service and untrustworthy

You really should just include taxes and fees in the listed price. The taxes in Las Vegas are huge and not including them in the room rate is very misleading for people who may not travel as much, which I'd imagine is the demographic you're hoping to appeal to more. Listing the base rate and then hiding the rate with taxes and fees behind an 'i' link only makes you look scammy.

Was skeptical when I booked via Prestigia and now I know I should have been skeptical. Hotel bill was paid to hotel and Prestigia also charged us $151 dollars. Use a proven site or better yet go directly to hotel. Also requested no feathers in booking - that information did not make it to hotel.

I booked with them hotel this month and due to Covid19, the hotel closed down, many emails send they take so long to response, total ignorance to queries, last response was one week before reservation after I interfered I called the hotel myself. And then after hotel confirm closure they refuse to return the deposit and telling me the hotel will waive the rest of the cost. They are not to be trusted and would never recommend them

I booked a room in Las Vegas, hit the button and then discovered that there were additional resort fees that were not mentioned during the booking. I discovered I could have gotten a much better deal with Booking.com, Experia, and several others. I went to cancel because it was "free" and the next window says that I have a credit of my amount on the website (instead of crediting my credit card.) I tried to call customer service and four times they dropped my call just as I reached being "next in line." Then I called the New Jersey line instead of the 1866 and was told I was first in line for over 45 minutes. They didn't answer so I'm going to go through my credit card company if they don't refund it. Please don't use them, they are very decietful in their practices... hiding charges, not crediting back your cancellation on your card despite the cancellation being free, and then not responding to your call while claiming you're first in line. It's a huge scam.

Don't use them...worst customer service ever.

The cancellation was supposed to be free...but the website now claims it has been credited to my Prestigia.com account. I tried to use the customer service line and was on over 45 minutes...despite being told that i was next in line.

I made a reservation at the Hyatt through them and they charged my card and sent me a confirmation #.
I called the Hyatt before my trip to confirm and they did not have my reservation. I contacted Prestige and I got a recorded message that the offices were closed due to covid. Even in California businesses can use the phone during covid. It became apparent using email that I was not going to get a refund and filed a fraud claim with my credit card company.

Saw them as a new partner at hotels.com decided to give them my business as it's hard and tough competition out there. Worst mistake I made is giving them my business. Not only was I unable to check in to the hotel I was unable to cancel the reservation either. Had to book through hotel directly and file credit card dispute

Prestigia is such a scam. I booked my reservation to Cancun that totalled $2000 and when I went on the app to look at the booking details they didn't show up and I accidentally cancelled my reservation, I emailed several times to reverse this as it is not at all something I intended on doing, and I really wanted to go on this trip, but was told they can't do anything, unable to reinstate my hotel that was $2000 that is booked in 10 months from now? Simply over an accidental cancelation no one can help me at all?
Covid took a lot away from me and this trip was going to finally be the breather I needed and I spent what little money I had on it just to have to swooped away because of an accidental click on a button... this company is slimy and won't look out for your best interest.

After several attempts to try and resolve an accidental cancelation i was told there is nothing to be done. I lost $2000 over accidentally canceling my booking that I have tried to reinstate but apparently it is not possible? And once I asked for someone who might be better suited to help me I got ignored.
This company won't look out for your best interest, and I highly don't recommend them
