We booked four hotel rooms in Paris for three nights via prestigia for June. The borders are still closed and we are unable to make our trip. Prestigia refuses to provide any form of credit despite the French government citing that all travel and booking agencies are required to provide reservations through September 2020 with a travel voucher to be used within 18 months. Terrible company who is profiteering off of this terrible situation. I will never book with prestigia again.

Prestigia had the best price for the hotel we wanted to stay at. Got booking confirmation straoght away and I also rang the hotel directly to confirm they have my reservation, which they did. Smooth booking all round.
I recently booked a trip with this company. I booked this trip for my wedding. One day before my arrival date I was informed that my reservation was cancelled. This notification came from a friend who found out when he called the hotel to have a package delivered to our room for our wedding. I called the hotel and was informed Prestigia had cancelled my reservation. I then contacted Prestigia to find out why my reservation was cancelled. I was told it was a glitch on the hotel side which I then confirmed was not a true statement. I was later offered another hotel which was by far unacceptable considering the hotel I had booked. I was then told Prestigia could not fulfill my reservation and offered a 10% discount on my next booking. Totally and completely insulting. This was my wedding and your company not only cancelled my reservation and didn't notify me, you insult me with your 10% discount. Very dissatisfied. I suspect I will have issues getting my refund as well.
If the price seems too good to be true, it is. Do yourself a favor and do not book with Prestigia. Pay the few extra dollars and get a reputable business. I had made a reservation and had to cancel because of Covid 19. I canceled weeks in advance and within their cancellation policy. However what they don't tell you, it they refuse to refund all the funds you had to pay upfront! You only get credit on a future stay. They do not have that many properties and when you do find one, the rates shown are triple what the rates usually are. I'm upset and out $400. Do not recommend. When I tried to take my case higher up, they closed it.
I am planning a trip to Graceland and Prestigia provided all the information which I was able to compare other websites too. Having the information provided for me I was able to decide and book what was best for me. The booking process was quick and easy.
I recently booked a room in Vegas then changed my plan about a day later. I canceled and expected a full refund. I received email that I am entitled for a full refund. Nothing happened for 2 weeks and no refund was issued. I emailed and called Prestigia several times but no response and was on hold forever. I finally went to my Visa company and issued a dispute. Be careful with Prestigia when booking. Not sure if this company is legit
I booked a stay at Iberostar Selection Cancun on December 2nd. I then received a confirmation of my stay (multiple confirmations) and they charged my credit card, so I then proceed to book approximately $3,000 worth of non-refundable flights for my family and I. Little did I know on 1/10/2024, 39 days later after my reservation was confirmed, I received an email that they cancelled my reservation. I was absolutely appalled that a company can do this to a consumer. I now have $3000 worth of flights and nowhere to stay. Prestigia has not offered any concessions, not a single action to try to help me with my situation. Their website brags about "immediate confirmation of your reservation." This is an absolute farce. I will be looking to see what legal options there are to pursue and highly encourage anyone considering Prestigia to go elsewhere. Just look at the reviews, this is not an isolated incident. It's standard practice for this organization. I'm hopeful I can speak to an attorney and see if a class action is warranted since so many others have had this same experience.
Do not book with this web site! It's registered in off shore zone -Gibraltar! You will see no money, no reservation! I got my reservation canceled due Covid -19 lock-down in April, and no matter reservation says- FREE cancellation. They sent me e-mail telling me that I got TRAVEL CREDIT! Now I'm trying to book with my travel credit... and guess what... NO SUCCESS! Very fast, and Plain e-mail responses from some BOT, but money are GONE! Use Booking.com, Expedia, com, Hotels.com!
Booked a room for my son's school trip. Decided not to send him to the states so cancelled the room as per the cancellation policy. Got confirmation that the cancellation was approved and my credit card would get 100% refund. One month later, Prestigia emailed and said they weren't honoring their policy and were providing me a credit. Stated that the were using the Force Majeure clause, even though that did not come into affect until after I had cancelled the room.
Called hotel and confirmed that prestigia got a full refund on all hotel rooms, so they are not out any money, but have decided to keep mine.
Fraudulent in my opinion. Don't book through this site... they are taking advantage of this pandemic to line their own pockets.
After booking, confirming and paying for a hotel, they cancelled on us 2 weeks prior to our departure, stating no availblity. We called the hotel directly and ther was avaiilabilty. They then offered us lower quality hotel. DO Not waste your Money and time. Customer Service is NON existing. Keep you on hold for literaly hours.
I was a bit confused at the end because an invoice wasn't sent to my email, only the details with no price etc. I had to go back to the booking page and follow the links to the invoice. Other than that, quite easy to use.
I was searching online for hotels for a weekend trip to San Francisco. Prestigia had the best price by far and was almost half the price of other sites. I booked it right away, not really thinking it through.
A day after, I thought to look up reviews on the site and then p a n i c k e d. If I had seen the reviews beforehand, I definitely wouldn't have risked it.
So right away, I called the hotel (a Marriott) & asked them if they had gotten the reservation info... they didn't. My trip was still a month away and they said they usually get the online info sent to them a week or two beforehand... greeeaaat. So I waited, called about a week or so after, and they had it!

I just saw so much negativity in the reviews I figured I should let ya'll know that sometimes it works out perfectly fine.

Someone stole my credit card and charged over $3000 with this website. I called them the day it happened and they said they could not help me unless I had the reservation number. Why would I have the reservation number if I didn't book it?!?! So I gave them all of my card information (of course I cancelled the card) and they said they would send it over to their financial team and give me a call back in 24 hours. (that was on 1/11) I called back on 1/13 and they said that it was a Saturday and there was no manager in the office and that I would have to wait for a call on Monday. Called back after not hearing from them on 1/24. Somai said she would call me back because it was 5 PM their time. It was 10 am my time and that she would call me in the morning. Still nothing and I have been trying to call the last two days and conveniently no one is at that number anymore! The bank is also working with them trying to get the money back, but they are the WORSE! I would never use them.
I haven't gotten to the hotel yet. But I did see all the bad reviews and got scared so I called the hotel to see if my reservation was made and it was. Thank GOD. SO FAR SO GOOD. The room I requested was book and everything seems good so far. Hopefully when I go things will remain the same. I am also aware that I have to pay the resort fee when I arrive to the hotel. We'll see if anything else but so far so good no complaints as of yet with the booking.
I booked through their website for a hotel on the gold coast Australia and it turns out it was a quarantine hotel. I couldn't stay there obviously as I wasn't coming back into the Country. They then proceeded to take my money then didn't want to give me my money back. Then once they finally responded they called me Karyn. This is 100% legit.
I have a real bad experience with prestigia, we did the reservation, due to the system change automatically the reservation to the following day, there were not rooms for the day we wanted in the hotel. When we realize it was almost inmediatelly, 10 to 15 minutes after the reservation, the agent of the company did not do anything to change the reservations, we explain the situation, we sent an email. Even though we called the hotel and verify that the reservation was not in place yet, and we called them again, they did not put any effort to change it. I lost 150 dollars. The service was really bad. I do not recommend prestigia, the name of the company and its services does not have any merits.
I booked a hotel room for my boss using this service. I was weary because I'd never heard of it before, but all other 3rd party booking services said they had no rooms and my boss made it clear that it was very important that he stay at this specific hotel. So, I did a little research on them and they seemed to check out okay, so I booked. About 20-24 hours later, we get an email saying our room could not be booked or confirmed. My boss paid upfront in full, they said they had rooms available but then after taking our money, couldn't confirm a room? What does that even mean...? Of course we got a refund but it was a huge inconvenience and very odd to me. It would be like Expedia or something saying they had 5 rooms available, so you book, then get an email saying they weren't able to confirm because they don't have any rooms available. I even called Prestigia to confirm that our room was good to go and they said yes. So weird, just don't bother using them.
I NEVER write reviews but was forced to on this site. We scheduled a Father's day get away this weekend (June 17th -21st) in Las Vegas as the Venetian. We booked through prestigia and once we got here the lady at the front desk told us the reservation was cancelled! Luckily, because of the covid crisis the hotel wasn't packed and we were able to book another room. No email notifications were ever sent to us. Then when we got to the room I check my checking account and the full amount of the trip was charged to my debit card! I write an email, they asked for my reservation number and no response after that. I also tried to call the number on the agents email that responded to me and I get a response that the caller is not available.
Bottom line is this company is a complete scam. Stay far away from them.
UPDATE: They paid back the deposit, but it took a few emails and I thought I'd lost the money.

I trusted the site even though I had not used it before. Had to cancel the booking within 12 hours of making it. They said FREE CANCELLATION, but have retained almost 10 percent saying its a credit to another booking. A business that lies so blatantly cannot be trusted with other things. Do not part money with these people.

Do not use this site, had a trip to Vegas booked and since Covid 19, we were unable to fly to the USA not to mention that Vegas is shut down. I inquired about their cancellation policy and that I would like my money returned to my card and that I would book again once the situation changes. They canceled my room and kept my money.,. I have sent 26 emails asking a Sr. Representative to contact me and still nothing... just a message saying that they are in compliance with their policy
They canceled my booking a month after I hooked it and 2 weeks before my arrival due to a "technical error". I had to rebook a hotel at a different site at a much higher price. I will never use this company again. Please stay away
I decided to write this Prestigia review after I noticed that the first result when you look up "prestigia + review" on google is a negative one... I wasn't sure back then about booking my hotel on this website and I was worried, but I just felt brave that day and really liked their price (there was a 50% off promotion on my hotel booking)... So I just did it. And I didn't regret it. Everything went smoothly, be it the payement or the great customer service (I called them to make sure that there was nothing wrong about my booking, don't forget I was a bit worried), and once in the hotel, I had no problem at all. I'm writing this just to say that one shouldn't always trust whatever google is telling them. Prestigia is a trustworthy hotel booking website and I use it again to book my next hotel stay.
