We booked four hotel rooms in Paris for three nights via prestigia for June. The borders are still closed and we are unable to make our trip. Prestigia refuses to provide any form of credit despite the French government citing that all travel and booking agencies are required to provide reservations through September 2020 with a travel voucher to be used within 18 months. Terrible company who is profiteering off of this terrible situation. I will never book with prestigia again.

Booked a hotel with them, I never ever book any hotel that does not return 100% don't ask me how I didn't see it. Husband has cancer, had second surgery Feb 3rd due to cancer coming back. We booked prior to this Dr. said he was fine to go March 3rd a month later let him heal when he comes back we start treatments. Fast forward Corona virus comes out, Dr. says sorry he cannot travel his immune system is at risk. This was Feb 28th Cancel airline no problem refund with all Dr. documents, other hotel in Madrid no problem. Prestigia sent them same email Feb 28th. They say sorry hotel has strict cancellation policy no refund no matter what. Going back & forth absolutely disgusting behavior. I couldn't believe I called hotel they said we are so sorry but you didn't cancel until the day of your arrival, I said no I cancelled 28th of Feb they said sorry Presitgia cancelled March 3rd. If they cancelled when you sent it we would of refunded you. The HOTEL then reaches out to Presitgia telling them off for what they did and blaming hotel. With all my proof and all the stress of my husband they are blaming me & the hotel. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DISGUSTING PEOPLE. They waited so I wouldn't get any refund. BEST ADVICE BOOK THROUGH HOTEL!. UNTIL THIS DAY THEY ARE STILL EMAILING ME TELLING ME THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING AND ITS MY FAULT. I wish to relay an experience I recently had with a company called Prestigia.com. I booked a hotel through them via Trivago back in April. A month later I contacted the hotel to confirm my reservation, the hotel said they had it and to just present my ID upon check in and everything will be good.
I arrived at the hotel (the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas NV) on November 2nd to check in, I was told Prestigia had canceled my reservation over a month ago. I called them in London (or where ever they are) and was on hold for over 15 mins so I hung up. I sent an email and they called me back in about an hour. I told them what was going on and they said they had not canceled the reservation.
Come to find out, Prestigia had booked the room through another company so at this point there are 3 different companies involved, 4 if you include the hotel. 4 hours later a representative from Prestigia (I won't use his name) told me to go ahead and pay for the room for Saturday night and they would have it worked out by Sunday morning.
I paid over $300.00 for one night at the hotel (I NEVER would have paid that much for a room but he said he would work it out). Sunday morning came and neither the hotel nor myself had heard anything. I had to hurry up and pack everything and check out of the hotel. I ended up getting a room at the Flamingo on the strip for double what I was paying at the Golden Nugget. I also want to let you know that the Golden Nugget had NO sympathy for me and did NOTHING to try and help me, in fact, they wanted 1 ½ times more than I paid at the Flamingo.
I understand it was not the Nuggets fault but their attitude was you're SOL, it's not our problem. In fact when I told some of the guests what had happened and what they wanted for a room for the week the response was "for this place?" So the takeaway is, you may pay a little more but book direct, it's much safer.
It was good, hopefully I won't run into issues like I have in the past with other companies

I had selected the option for fully refundable and it added extra USD30 for it, but when i got the email receipt, it shows as non refundable.?
I have not heard back from the customer service about my issue.

This is going to be lengthy. I booked with Prestigia and read the reviews AFTER I did, making me regret my decision. Tried calling Prestigia to cancel, but couldn't reach anyone after being on hold for an extended amount of time. Another red flag. So I decided to stick it out— my trip to Vegas wasn't until January of 2022 and the cancelation policy said I would be fully refunded up until a few days before. Then I found an Airbnb a couple of weeks later that I had already stayed in, and wanted to book that instead. Again, shaky to cancel with Prestigia because reading other reviews made it sound like the refund may or may not happen, so I didn't book the Airbnb right away. I will say the Prestigia website is AWFUL. Makes you feel like it's a scam because you can't get anywhere trying to "log in" to your account, sometimes the page is in a different language even after you try to correct it, etc. So rather than doing the cancelation myself, I decided to reach out to the email support—complete game changer. I spoke with a lady named Anna and told her my concerns about getting my money back based on past reviews. She reassured me the money would be refunded, but due to covid and high cancelation volumes, it was going to take about a month. I had her confirm the card I used to book the hotel stay, and told her I would be patient and contact her in a month if I hadn't gotten a refund. A few days shy of a month, SHE contacted me and let me know the refund had been processed and would show up on my statement in 3-4 business days. I don't know of many customer service sites where the employee reaches out to you again, especially after their side of an issue has been resolved! I figured I would've had to explain my situation to another rep or deal with a bot to get the ball rolling on a refund again. Nope. Today I looked at my credit card and the money was refunded. My advice—use the email customer service option for all of your concerns. I would recommend this company solely based on that. I can't vouch for the actual hotel stay, obviously, but their problem solving and refund policy seems stable. Just have to have some patience. Also Prestigia if you're reading this, Anna Silkana deserves a raise. Thank you.
