The booking through the site was straightforward. Few clicks and it was done. Confirmation received right away.

I was pleased. The process was easy. Now if I can check in without problems I will be completely satisfied.

If you're thinking about booking with Prestigia, don't! There is a reason the prices are low compared to other websites!

Me and my friend booked a hotel in Sicily with Prestigia for September 2017. We received a booking confirmation and the money was taken from her account. A week later we called the hotel to book a boat tour with them, we were told by the hotel that they couldn't find our booking. So we called Prestigia and told them, they assured us that there was a booking and there was nothing to worry about. We were then provided with a booking reference. We called back the hotel and provided the booking reference, to my surprise, they still couldn't find us on the system. Naturally, we panicked at this point and called Prestigia back, they said they'll look into it and call us back. We didn't get a call back that day, instead we got an email that evening telling us that the hotel booking is cancelled and offered us 10% discount off a further booking with them. There was no mention about what had happened and no mention of our refund. We were upset and extremely worried, as we had no hotel and they had taken our money. We didn't know whether we'd get our money back, and we had no confidence that we would.

We called Prestigia the next day and asked what had happened. They told us that they couldn't honour the price on their website and had booked another hotel. We were furious at this stage! We were never told any of this, and if we didn't call the hotel to book a boat tour we would never had found out! We asked why we were never told this, they didn't have an answer. We said we wanted a full refund and didn't trust them any longer. Thankfully, we got a refund 5 working days later.

Because of the mistake Prestigia made, it meant that the hotel we originally booked and wanted was no longer available. So we had the added stress of finding something else.

The whole experience was an absolute nightmare! For days we were stressed and anxious about the entire thing.

So take our advice, don't book with Prestigia. Save yourself the worry and pay a bit more to book through a reputable company.

It says i can cancel up to a certain date-so why I have i had to pay the whole accommodation amount up front?

The Prestigia Reservation system was easy and included clear and specific details of the booking options.

Bank blocked the first transaction, but it was helpful I saw that warning as I completed the transaction.

On the app i was told i am paying everything. In the confirmation email I was told I had to pay €30 at the hotel.

There was a hidden fee.

It was very easy to navigate through the site. I found the process of booking the hotel step by step was very helpful.

1. There is nowhere to specify two TWIN rooms.
2. There is nowhere to ask for the rooms to be next to each other - if possible.

I faced a similar experience as Kim D. False advertising from them. Will never use this website again.

Credit card didn't go through but service rep in france helped me resolve. Rate was 50 percent lower than any other website

Charged 25 Euros without consent. I did not get an email for the amount! This company takes advantage of tourists! BEWARE!

Booking was easy. Hopefully everything works out. I will need to double-check with hotel that they have my reservation.
