So it's kind of complicated, but Primaris and Dropit have partnered to create Primarche, where you buy stuff online. In October I bought a pair of shearling gloves from Primarche. They arrived, and I put them aside. It wasn't until January, when it got very cold here, that I began to wear them. Imagine my disappointment when, after only a couple of weeks of wearing the gloves, the stitching began to fall apart. The gloves were not subject to hard usage. I took a photo of the problem and contacted Primarche. Now I want to make clear, the staff person who fielded my problem was amazing! Shout out to them! They were responsive, very pleasant, and completely professional. Unfortunately, the response from Primarche and Primarche's vendor was less than optimal. Here is part of what I was told: "Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a product exchange or return for this transaction [N.B.I was seeking neither; I requested a repair], as it has been over 3 months. [As explained in my letter to Primarche, I had only begun wearing the gloves a month earlier, and I sent photo documentation that showed very little wear on the glove]. Additionally, our warranty covers 30 days from the date of purchase, and this period has already passed. If the customer prefers, we do offer an Alterations & Repair service. Please note that the customer will be responsible for the cost of alterations, as well as the return and shipping labels." Note: I was not asking for an *alteration,* I was requesting a repair. And to require that I cover the cost of shipping and "alterations" – which could quite likely cost as much, if not more than, the product I purchased – is ridiculous and unreasonable. This is not good customer service. So be advised: Primarche does not stock quality goods. Primarche does not stand behind the products it sells. Primarche hides behind third party vendors. I will not be buying from Primarche again.
