I started with houzz around 1 year ago.I had a call from technical people 3 month ago
They said that i owe them 300$ and i don't have card on file that was tru so even with them providing me minimum value. So i paid and requested to close the account. Next month they charged my card again so I send request to close the account It says it would be closed in about an year from now. Next month after they charged my card again. I give them call and request closing subscription again. I hope they will let me go. I'm not willing to work with this company anymore because the way they do business doesn't seem morally acceptable to me.
I've been contacting pro support for the past 2 wells now each day. Everyday multiple things happened. They said a manager will be reaching out within an hour & they will take care of me.
Jeff Shapiro, my account manager is full of ****. He is throwing me around, giving statements he will help and send me information, call me back and try to solve my issue but nothing more then bill crap.
I highly disrespect Jeff and his team. They have done nothing but trouble to myself and my business.
BE AWARE
The awareness of Houzz if VERY low in our market so we don't get many leads through Houzz Pro. We find we have to educate our prospects about Houzz when they come into the showroom. Only one lead in 5 years has resulted in a project.
We have found the Houzz Pro site frustrating to work with. The options for answers are limited and don't fit the actual scenario. We often have to settle on an answer that is not the case because the right answer isn't available. We've been told the Concierge tried to reach us by phone but there we have not gotten those calls. There's an automated email that goes out when you select Lead Quality that absolutely should not go out. I retired a lead and found out an automated email when to the prospect right away! Totally inappropriate!
In the same boat as other's with this company not holding up there side of the contract and im to small to do anything about it. It has been 8 months at $544 per month and my site is still not set up and no one tat the company will help. They just keep giving me a new " success manager" and they all say the same thing " this isn't right. I will fix your site immediately." But lo and behold nobody does anything and I lose contact with everybody.
I have had a professional profile with Houzz for over 6 years now and have received a lot of benefits from leads to the free website. My volume of leads have not always been consistent, but they're generally a better quality than more generic home-improvement lead services. When Houzz acquired Ivy I was very excited about all of the project management tools. I'm sorry to say it has been a bit of a disaster. The integration is so buggy and the tool itself is missing so many essential elements (like the ability to log project notes?), that I had to completely backtrack and drop using it almost all together. That definitely cost me time and the confidence of a few of my clients.
Overall the Pro app is great. However, occassionaly the app is down (both the website and the mobile app), and quite annoying I cannot respond to clients mails.
HouzzPro offers nothing that will HELP your business to grow. It doesn't do anything special and is just a way to get your money. They offer a 30-day trial period. Immediately upon signing up, I realized is only does about 1/4 of what Quickbook does and costs over twice as much. So, I called and cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. And, of course they said they cancelled. But, charge my account 30 days later and keep charging every month. I have disputed each charge as it comes in. I have called Houzz and get someone who tells me they completely understand and see that I cancelled and they will take care of it with no more charges. And guess what? They charge again. So, do NOT under any circumstances go with HouzzPro.
I like working with Dan Davidson. He is really helpful and informative. Our company uses the Houzz Profile as a portfolio which is very convenient. No more carrying books and photos. The platform has so many platforms that can help you run and manage your business. We love it.
Hi! I signed up for the Houzz program and I've been using this service for almost 1,5 years. My business grows a lot because the quality of clients here is much better than in other platforms. Also I want to say that Houzz provides very good support team which can talk with you and check every month if your account is in a good state and everything goes correctly and how to attract even more clients. Highly recommend!
We've been a paying Houzz Pro for about six years. The platform provides a significant percentage of our projects, but each year the ratio slightly decreases. We have to assume that they've saturated our market with other designers, as evidenced by searches for similar firms in the area. We used to top the charts. Not so much anymore, which is disappointing. However, our rep, Brittany Bromagem, has been instrumental in providing advice and guidance, which has helped. If you join the program, make sure you have a knowledgeable and caring representative.
Answer: After being hounded for years by their persistent sales team we finally committed for a year of "Pro" service for our design company. This was very expensive and yielded no solid leads after one year. For comparison, Google gave us over 3,300 referrals in a year, Instagram almost 1,000. Houzz Pro? 35. In an entire year. Less than 3 click throughs a month for $400 a month. After a year they renewed us on a month to month basis for $400 a month with no fore warning or any follow up to see what we had thought of their "service". Our Houzz Pro "dashboard" contains no information on billing, renewal terms or renewal dates. To cancel your auto renewal you have to do it on the phone, 30 days in advance. Our sales rep. No longer answers emails and will not address this issue. We are disputing this with Visa and we keep getting charged. We block Houzz Pro and next month we get billed by Houzz Advertising. Truly a terrible, parasitic, dishonest company that provides zero value. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Answer: Yes use it as you may---am part of the team. Keeping in touch with me would be the best of both worlds for me and the client.
Houzz Pro has a rating of 2.9 stars from 157 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Houzz Pro most frequently mention customer service, free trial and credit card. Houzz Pro ranks 4th among Home Remodeling sites.
