I've purchased moving supplies many times the past several months from property #*******. Each time, Jim has been able to answer all of my questions, is extremely courteous, and always helps me get materials into my car. Jim is a tremendous asset for Public Storage!
Thank You to Mark and the other associate who was there this morning. Words of the wise great help in answering my questions about online payment although it's self explanatory still thankful for there input.#*******
Just want to say the customer service at store ******* is AMazing! April and Alexis always have a great attitude when I come in and almost do there best to make sure I'm taken care of! Great job ladies keep it up!
Service was good before. It is excellent now. The new property manager leaves nothing to chance in his quest to keep our family's possessions clean, safe, and secure. Keeps us up to date so we never get any late fees.
Nancy in a south Reno was awesome even though you can see she is being given difficulty in her job due to the way PS conducts their online presence. My problem is when a company subdues a workers ability to function inside what they created for customers. She helped us over that issue and if PS valued her service they would fix their programming so it doesn't conflict w field offices and booking there in. As far as I'm concerned she should be a supervisor or boss of the people who can't manage their own business cause she knows what she is doing, period. Kris. ;) people need to wise up.
We rented a unit in July and had no lights in unit itself or hall facing unit for 6 months. We notified on-site associate, we also called and emailed customer service and never got a response. Public Storage drafted from my bank account every month timely, $220. I guess the expectation of responsibility is only on the customers side. My husband had to climb in the dark over a a full unit in a 10 X 20 space…not safe. We were always directed back to the on-site associate whose hands were tied. These units should be made ready before anything is ever moved in or even rented out. We were told it was the baluster l, not the bulb. Can't be fixed after you load it up. Horrible experience.
Worst customer service, one problem after another (gate code not working, approximately 30 phone calls asking me to pay the bill starting 2 weeks before it was even due, they even called my emergency contact regarding payment before it was due, storage door broken). I unfortunately didn't read their reviews before choosing them.
I rented a 7'x10' unit for a beginning rate of $153 per month. The door is poorly sealed and there is a thick layer of dirt covering everything in the unit. A little over a year later my rate is $196. To add salt to the wound, I receive daily ads in my yahoo email for same-sized units available for $91 per month. When I called customer service to inquire about switching to the cheaper unit they told me those were promotional rates for new customers only. I asked if the new customer who gets that deal will be paying $196 after their first year and they stammered, not knowing how to reply, then said "Well, everyone's rates are subject to change, that's how this business works." I strongly suggest folks look elsewhere for storage solutions. This company is akin to something you'd expect from doing business with the mafia. I can't stress enough how much Public Storage should be avoided. You're better off taking your property and burying it in the woods.
The new purchase ownership transition had existing customers over a barrel still coming out of pandemic limitations. Public Storage raised prices with impact---mine increased by $50. I am a senior citizen relying on social security received the third Wed of the month. I am therefore forced to pay a punitive late fee every month until I can get help to relocate. All Storage offered a change due date form for its customers. Public Storage does not. It is a terrible way of doing business trying to recoup Covid losses on the backs of current customers struggling under the weight of exploitive fees with no consideration otherwise. A sad testimony to the company, its policy and its leadership.

I just got hit with a 25% increase in my monthly rent after several years with normal adjustments. This is blatant price gouging. They do not have significant impact from inflation as
1) they have few employees
2) Utility rates are regulated
3) their facilities have been built for years, so mortgage rate increases are inconsequential
4) my particular facility is half empty, so claims of a decreased supply of units in my area is a lie.
Terrible company. Find somewhere else to store your belongings. I am.
Answer: They will find a way to charge you for anything. And they will charge fees in which they will take you to collections for. They are a really greedy company
Answer: No, and they will charge you for a spec of dirt left.
Answer: Just post a review on Google Maps andwrite a review about your experience at any business
Answer: The longer you stay the more you pay period. Depends on how much value they put on a hot active size rental.
