PureVPN has a rating of 2.4 stars from 14 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. PureVPN ranks 77th among Vpn sites.
I have been using PureVPN for over two years now and I have always been super satisfied with the services provided. Great services, decent speeds, stable connections and top notch support (whenever I needed them). Highly recommended!
I have been using Purevpn for near 3 year. It used to be great, but the last year it has become really terrible. With a vpn, you just need to it to work, but with purevpn, everytime you try to connect there issues. Most of the time it will not connect first time, if it connects, it will be really slow, if its fast, it cannot connect to my network printers or drives. They say try different protocols, which i have done on many occasion, everything may work on one protocol for a day or two, then back to issues. When you speak to the advicer's they contradict each other. One says, m this is best, other say no the other is best. I work with systems and networks, and im struggling. I would honestly avoid, save yourselves a lot of pain and wasted time.

What I found most awesome about their software is that it was really easy to setup unlike their competitors. Trust me when I say I am not a computer geek and I specifically hate the installation part in the programs. Always getting bugs and extra stupid marketing addons. Purevpn saved me from all that crap.
Recommended to anyone looking for a simple yet best online security solution.
The service was not so great, the app doesn't make it easy to quickly connect to USA, and always wants me to connect to a cheaper country.
Even their FAST service wasn't so fast. On a gig fiber connection, I got 60 meg dl at best.
The worst thing though is their billing department.
Even though I decided NOT to renew, they are fraudulently billing my credit card, and even after contacting me, they are still doing it.
Don't believe the hype! I was a Pure VPN subscriber since 2018, but as shortly after PureVPN executed their move to British Virgin Islands in 2021 their level of VPN functionality and customer services decreased dramatically. I still had 3 years left on my subscription with them, but just recently cancelled. Avoid PureVPN at all cost unless you like throwing $ away!

Pure VPN service with Dedicated IP Add-on
As a 5 year+ user, I was initially impressed. Service was good, connections fast and reliable.
Sometimes my Mac did not properly renew it's DHCP and IP4 settings, though that's not to PureVPN.
Since almost 5 months there has been a drastic limitation in speed, reliability and service.
There are even signs they are actively logging - so just be aware and careful.
I am moving to another realiable party as not too happy with PureVPN anymore.
Ludicrously unacceptable and criminal to sell Lifetime subscriptions and then cancel/expire them after 5 years. Like so many others I bought a lifetime subscription for PureVPN on Stack Social and now PureVPN refuses to honor it.

PureVPN is the best vpn service available in the market with there strong team and experience of over 8 years. They have grown vastly in last few years, nearly reaching 100 countries with servers and thousands of IPs and every now and then introducing an addon to fulfill the users needs.
I have personally used Dedicated Streaming, Dedicated IP and SmartDNS addons. Each of them not only have real use case but they perform extremely well. Since, for a lay man VPN can be technical and difficult to understand at times, PureVPN support team take good care of the customers, no matter which part of world you're from and even if don't know perfect English. They will get the job done for you there and then.
I have been using the holiday discount they had offered and with the annual plan it costs me less than $4 a month. Isn't that affordable for all your online security, unblocking and streaming needs?
I will recommend PureVPN to anyone looking for a reliable VPN service, from US to China - quality of service is awesome.
Tip for consumers:
You may even ask for a trial (available from time to time) for testing purposes before you proceed to pay for a monthly or yearly subscription.
Ok, like many others, I became one more victim in their lifetime subscription scheme. They sold lifetime subscription since 2015 through their affiliate stacksocial and when activated, they activated just 5 years in their control panel, reasoning that their system has limitations and I have to contact them after 5 years term to renew the subscription.
I introduce you to biggest con in the business of conning, just read more: just before 2020, which means just 4,9 years after they began selling lifetime subscriptions to users, they announced that they are changing their system and stopped selling anymore lifetime subscriptions. When contacted to renew the 5 years subscription, they didn't honor it and just replied that "they will contact their affiliates to work something out"!
They sold lifetime and my subscription should depend on their affiliates?
Not just that, now my 5 years subscription has ended and 20 days past since I last heard from them.
So short version is that they sold lifetime subscriptions for a higher price, and didn't honor them, just stopped the subscription after 5 years because they have problems with their third party affiliates which I don't care a bit, because my contract was with purevpn and a lifetime subscription. It was their own products which purevpn confirmed many times in email that the subscription is lifetime.
Just read other reviews, I'm not alone, of course. They won't honor any of their lifetime subscriptions and I wonder if they will honor their other subscriptions which have a longer period.
If you really want to go with this company, which I don't suggest, don't pay for longer subscriptions, if you want to get something out of it.
Anyways, I don't suggest having a subscription with them because of their logging activity (search google), while they write that they have no-log policy.
I tried PureVPN as my current VPN is up for renewal and I was considering changing my VPN service. I purchased a single month to evaluate the service. I didn't have a problem with speed, but there is a real problem with latency. That is, you click on a link and it literally takes 15 to 20 seconds before it can establish a connection to the page you clicked. I tried several different servers and it was the same. PureVPN blamed it on my computer and offered a load of "fixes" that would sort the problem. Of course none worked. I went back to my previous VPN and all the problems went away.
While they claim they keep no logs, their privacy policy says different...
"Information Included in VPN Connection Logs
We know the day you connected to a specific VPN location and from which Internet Service Provider. This bare minimum set of data is required to help you with technical assistance, solving connecting problems, and overcoming region-specific problems.
We also know the connection length and how many connections you make when you use our VPN service, without connection timestamps, with the sole purpose of categorizing your profile as Power, Core or Casual user. This categorization helps our Product teams improve and cater to the needs of various user groups as per their preferences."
All of this is known as logging. So the zero log policy is a lie, evident by the admission to such in their privacy policy. If you purchase a dedicated IP Address, that address is tied to your account and email address as well.
In essence, everything you do online is traceable back to you. So where's the privacy?
Also beware when you sign up for a single month, they create a ongoing payment with PayPal or your bank. You will be charged monthly, even though you signed up for one month. Luckily, PayPal will send you a notification of this... your credit card company or bank may not.
Personally, I don't trust the company, so I cancelled the service. There was a resistance on their end, even though their website says "no questions asked," but this can be quickly resolved by mentioning opening a case with PayPal.
Good service and Great Experience with PureVPN! I never had any problems with it, Special thanks to Support team :)

I have used PureVPN for many years, having found them to always be ahead of their competitors... unfortunately, as of recently, that has changed. The claim that they do not keep logs is simply NOT true - if you read the fine print, you'll notice that they state they DO keep logs - of connection time and data used. Not logs of where you visit, agreed - but your usage IS logged.
Secondly, and becoming more of an issue is that I have found PureVPN to suffer DNS leaks; a test at doileak.com on more than one occasion showed that whilst I was connected to a VPN server and my IP address was masked, the DNS came from my home ISP. Not good.
Thirdly, whilst PureVPN updates frequently, I am finding that often they introduce more bugs with the updated software than they cure. The Windows App is quite buggy and on several occasions on two separate computers, I have had to disconnect the VPN and restart the software just to restore my internet connection.
Their pricing is absolutely fantastic - no two ways about it - but their customer service isn't so great. The "Live Chat" is not quite so "Live" as you may at first think, and I very strongly suspect, given the pattern answers that appear, that "Live Chat" is quite often a Chat Bot. Either that or their customer service people are some of the most robotic people in existence.
I have since switched to another VPN provider which is just as easy to set up, much MUCH more stable and with equally good pricing. Out of fairness I will not state which VPN provider I have gone with as this is a review of PureVPN, not an advert for their competitors.
PureVPN USED to be a very very good VPN provider, but their game has gone downhill fast and a swift search of the internet will show they are slipping in the VPN provider rankings for their overall poor service in general and abysmal customer service in particular
