Tried to make an order for my elderly mother (she has been a customer for many years and receives a paper catalog through the mail) - want to purchase a coat priced more than a hundred dollars. She wondered if there was some type of free shipping coupon or offer, so I looked online (she doesn't use a computer of any kind). I found some promo codes and telephoned to place an order. Naturally, the call goes to Phillipines call center and codes not accepted. When I inquire why, I'm told must join a club to get special offers, and I then I get read the script pitching me on the $14.95 per month membership fee. I say no thanks and then asked whether I still want to buy the coat. Telephone manner was terrible, stilted, scripted and unable to address disgruntled customer. Supervisor was not much better. Told supervisor to remove me from mailing list - which he seemed delighted to do! The hung up without ordering anything, ripped up catalog, and that is that! Done doing any business with this company - their loss! Don't favor this company with your purchases/business - crap service and no diplomacy with customers. Terrible.
