Qrfy

I used QRFY to generate a QR code for a brochure, under the impression it was a free service. However, after printing my materials, I discovered that QRFY was using a redirect feature, which came with a hidden subscription fee of over £200 per year. This was not made clear upfront. While they offer a free 7-day trial, after that, you're automatically charged if you continue using the dynamic QR codes, which is essential for tracking or updating the link behind the QR code.

When I tried to pay via their monthly subscription, which they advertise as cancelable at any time, they charged me for the entire year instead. Upon contacting customer support, I was met with a dismissive response of "should have read the terms and conditions." This level of customer service is completely unacceptable.

I strongly advise against using QRFY unless you're prepared for surprise fees and poor support.
