This is my experience. I will never use Quandary Peak or Mahdi Eslamimehr again.
We retained both Quandary Peak and Mahdi Eslamimehr for 2 reasons.
1. Mahdi Eslamimehr stated to our attorney as well as to us he never lost a case.
(I've since requested reimbursement stating the above wasn't truthful. Quandry Peak, George Edwards, their attorney and Mahdi Eslamimehr have responded but have not disputed my above claim re: Mahdi Eslamimehr losing prior cases)
Prior to retaining Mahdi Eslamimehr, our attorney told Mahdi Eslamimehr that this case solely relies on his expert testimony. We lost and it cost us around $400,000. When our attorney called Mahdi Eslamimehr to let him know we lost, his response was "Thank you for letting me know." That was it. The defense's expert witness was self-taught and did both software and hardware for $4,700. The arbitrator wrote in her decision that Mahdi Eslamimehr was "unpersuasive."
2. Mahdi Eslamimehr promised he would keep the bills down by having his associate, Cassie Oates, do the bulk of the work as we explained we don't have a lot of money and we've already used up our life's savings. However, this was not true as the bills reflected Mahdi's work was 87% to Cassie's 23%. (they haven't disputed this either)
Mahdi Eslamimehr requested we give him a Google Review 6 months prior to arbitration and then on our last day of arbitration, asked again. We were confused why he was so insistent on Google Reviews prior to completing the work.
In our opinion, Mahdi Eslamimehr was unprofessional throughout his testimony. He was rude and arrogant behaving as if he was too good to be there.
Mahdi Eslamimehr lost his temper during arbitration when being crossed. He apologized, but the damage was done.
Mahdi Eslamimehr refused to sit next to the arbitrator when we asked him to. Mahdi Eslamimehr said he would have to look left to the arbitrator and then right to our attorney and Mahdi Eslamimehr didn't want to have to move his head that much; from side to side and back and forth.
Mahdi Eslamimehr was annoyed the defendant was typing so loudly and it distracted him. Mahdi Eslamimehr demanded our attorney ask the arbitrator to put a stop to it. The arbitrator shook her head and said she couldn't hear the typing and didn't understand what the problem was.
Mahdi Eslamimehr mumbled his words and spoke so softly I couldn't hear him.
We had given a retainer of $5000 to Mahdi Eslamimehr. When the final bill came in, it was not applied until we were the ones to bring it up. Watch your bills carefully.
I've reached out many times to George Edwards, CEO Quandary Peak Research, asking for a conversation. He has refused.
