Rainbow to Heaven and a random shipping company they contracted LOST MY DOG'S ASHES and now it's never to be found. I am heartbroken.
My puppy passed away on my birthday in July, in which I found this company via an online search. The worker who picked up my fur baby was kind and did an amazing job of comforting and ensuring that they would handle him with great care for $400.00. From there is where things went downhill.
Communicating with Rainbow to Heaven was a nightmare, at times receiving late responses via email and eventually receiving a random call one day from one of their "drivers" that insisted he could only drop my dog's remains off THAT DAY or I'd have to wait 2 weeks. ($75)
Being that I already paid, I agreed to the two weeks in which I called to follow up on my fur baby. I was told by a customer service rep that they would call me back as my dog was located in their old location. The following Monday, I received a call from another random shipping company that they were in front without any kind of notification via e-mail or call prior. The driver left my dog's remains at a random location from the safe location that was specified. Rainbow to Heaven nor the company has taken any accountability, and never called me back after explaining how I felt and needing to speak to a manager.
I WILL NOT use Rainbow to Heaven nor recommend using their services as they will lose your dog's cremains without any sympathy or attempts at making things right.
This place is a scam. They're pricing is insane and they take advantage of people who are grieving or preparing to grieve the loss of a pet. They're pricing on their website is worlds different than what they actually charge. I knew I'd be paying a fee for travel since we aren't located near any major cities. But the website lists $199 for cremation services and we paid $1700 all in, including a charge almost triple what was posted for cremation. I emailed, called the number listed on the invoice (which just goes to what seems like a random cell phone number), and when I finally got in touch with someone was forwarded to a different number who told me to call back the original number. I was then given a half answer on the difference in fee - which was a "coordination fee" included in the cremation fee ON TOP of the $900 coordination fee I was charged separately. Additionally, I was told a second person from rainbow bridge would be coming to our house, that person never showed up so my husband had to HELP WRAP AND CARRY MY DOGS DEAD BODY out of our house. Are you joking me? As if the process of losing a dog isn't hard enough, these people take advantage of the situation in every way and it's disgusting.
