I wish that I could leave RealDefense LLC ZERO stars.
This company will rob you for a monthly charge of $19.95 per month for something that was not mentioned as a recurring charge that is said to be for live tech support. I did not know or authorize this payment when I purchased their crappy software.
PLEASE DO NOT BUT! STAY AWAY FROM THESE ROBBERS
BE AWARE OF THEIR FRAUDULENT CREDIT CARD CHARGERS

I WAS CHARGED FOR A TECH SUPPORT SERVICE THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. AFTER THE "FREE" 30-DAY TRIAL, I NEVER AGREED TO A YEAR OF CONTINUED SERVICE FOR "$19.95." I AM A 72-YEAR-OLD SENIOR AND I FEEL LIKE I WAS TRICKED INTO PURCHASING SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT AGREE TO.

We used STOPzilla quite successfully for many years. When it came time for our license renewal, we discovered that Real Defense, LLC had purchased STOPzilla. Stupid us, we thought it would be the same service we were used to. After paying a total of $239.00 we let them do their "thing". Order ID: ******* Order Date: 02/05/2022 01:28pm. A customer service rep took control of our computer (which I do not like) and proceeded to "fix" everything. After they were done, everything ran slower and or was unresponsive. We asked for a refund, but only received a partial refund of $59.99 for the software. The remaining $179 was for "tech support". A complete scam ripoff. Why would we need tech support for something that isn't there? My husband has a friend who specializes in network security. I wish we had asked his opinion first. STOPzilla was recommended to us by our local computer repair guy (who is a gem). I wished we had asked him before blindly trusting RealDefense, LLC. We keep getting their emails. I wish we would get a refund of our $179 and be removed from their email list. RealDefense, LLC is a joke! I do not recommend them for anything. It is the old adage of "If you can't beat them, buy them."
