I have gotten leads from realtor.com for about a year as a realtor. At first they were ok. But I the last 6 months it has been not so great. I decided to go on the site as an ordinary customer to see how it works. Well when a customer clicks on a house asking for information they are interested in immediately another box pops up and in large red letter next to a click box it says,. Want more information? So you click the box next to those words. Well apparently in small black letter at the top of the box it says, Want to see more houses? So you are actually clicking to see more houses before you get any information on the original house you initially inquired. Each click summons 2 realtors. When you click the pop up box it summons 2 more realtors. So it makes it harder for a realtor to call or contact a lead and the customer is bombarded with phone calls, emails and texts from 4 or more realtors! Many companies farm out each lead to multiple agents on top of that. I got contact by 6 realtors for that one lead. Also,. The house I didn't want to see came up as under contract? What the hell? I will be ending my agreement with realtor.com when my contractor is up! You should get a person as a lead. Not a lead per click? The same person can click on multiple houses and get hundreds of agents contacting them that pay for these leads that are over sold. All my customers that I actually got through to said they would never inquire about a house on that site again! A lose lose for agents and customers.
