Com I've been on site last 2 months yesterday 3702 Bamberger for sale $65.000the listing agent Janell With Coldewell Banker in Lakestlouis, moved photos and stated it was taken the day, yesterday it was Posted I feel this is Fraud and against the Law, it's a Bunch of lies, I have $100K got home Loan crab in the bucket! Need to be Investigated, by the Law!
What the heck happened? The recent new version is horrible. Wow, I bummed. Whose running the place to be so stupid to think the new version is better?
This service is a joke! I was a brand new agent and when I received a call from Realtor.com, It all sounded great. They asked my zip code and zip codes I would like to receive leads in. Instead I receive leads that are not in my zip code or the zip codes I requested. Also, I keep receiving leads on the same properties over and over again. None which are worth my time because of distance and potential pay off from the sale. When I called to talk to them about canceling, I was told there was nothing they could do and I still need to pay $168 a month, for a service that is worthless, for another 9 months. When I asked so your telling me I have to pay approximately $1512 for a service I can not use. The response was, "You can call back at the end of the 9 months (after I have paid $1512 for nothing) and let realtor.com why you are unhappy with the service a they might give you a credit." Seriously! Well thank you for your amazing service and concern Realtor.com! On to the next naive and gullible agent... Bravo! You have built a business on crappy costumer service and unhappy customers.
Erik Askevold….Not. Realtor Erik Askevold…,NOT! No Erik Askevold. Remember. Character is everything! Cocky, he is! Sometimes even mean!
I tried them for one year. In theory, buyers on Realtor.com interested in a particular property ask for more information via email. Realtor.com forwards it to one of the agents in the queue who purchased this zip code who should contact the buyer within minutes. I always contacted the buyer within minutes. Realtor.com sent me about 3 or 4 leads a week.
MY EXPERIENCE:
98% of the time buyers would NOT answer the phone, nor would they would return a phone call or email.
Of the people I spoke to, the vast majority were just 'lookey-loos' attracted by an impossibly low price; my area has many country clubs with required membership equity of anywhere form $40k-$100k (plus annual fees of over $25k) so many beautiful homes are languishing on the market at ridiculously low prices.
In addition, I was receiving leads from other realtors who were also advertising with Realtor.com and, in this way moved themselves forward in the queue for referrals (the minute one gets a referral, they would submit a request for info on a property- often their own listings!)
At the end of the term I advised my customer rep that I was not renewing. From that moment on (even though I had another MONTH left on my subscription) I didn't receive another lead (as bad as they were).
You've been advised.
I'm very please with their services, very knowledgeable and friendly, I would recommend them to handle your property purchase.
Before you sign up DON"T JOIN! You're committed 1 year MINIMUM. Year contract costed me $10k. I ddin't know this... sales rep told me it was month to month. Then i tried to cancel 4 months later and they told me I was locked into a year contract! I DIDN"T SIGN ANYTHING! They said that by giving my credit card, I implied consent. DEFINITELY REPORTING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUEREU. I thought leads were going to be good. BAD leads 7 months and not ONE appointment. (this is when i tried to cancel). I was only getting average 4 bad leads a month.
IF youre thinking about it, i hope you read this review and/or read other. I wish i did. NOT GOOD ROI. www.zillow.com/profile/watgary. I'm a REAL realtor with a real review. Don't do it!
He Dinsmore Team was OUTSTANDING! They recently sold our home for over the asking price. We could not have been more pleased with their level of customer service.
Sean provided objective guidance on the asking price. This was backed up with reasonable comparable data for homes that had recently sold. This attention to detail provided a level of trust and confidence in his ability to represent the sale of our home.
He also was extremely resourceful in helping us make decisions on home improvements for our consideration such as new landscaping, painting, bathroom "refresh" and other potential projects. He gave us objective suggestions and provided recommendations on vendors who could perform the work. His suggestion to stage our home really made a difference in marketing of the property. His collateral materials of our home, pictures and marketing was top notch.
This was an emotional move for us because we had lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years. He was always VERY PATIENT and responsive to our numerous questions.
His follow-up was EXCEPTIONAL. We have sold other homes and did not get this level of service with our other agents. He guided the process every step of the way. We would hear from him early in the morning and late at night. We appreciated his responsiveness.
COULD NOT HAVE A BETTER AGENT REPRESENTING YOU!
I was looking for at least three months on homes through realtor.com, that said for sale, listed 3 hrs 20 hrs ago so forth. Each time I found a home I would contact a realtor in connection to it or call. Each time, oh the house is still available when do you want to see it? We set a time normally for the same day. SOOOO about, either an hour later OR right before we are set to leave, we get a call from the realtor. Each time they say, the house JUST went under contract so we have to cancel the showing. I can show some we have available. Normally way more than I m looking at in price. So I got smart, or so I thought. I waited on a house we really liked, ready to make an offer even, for about four days. OK, fourth day still for sale. We called set an appointment to go see it, AND OF COURSE, Oh sorry it JUST went into contract. I have some you may like. I'll send a list. BSBSBS! This is like 2-3 times a week this has happened. AT first I thought things are just selling fast, reason I waited on this last one to see if was a slow mover. So I am done with the fraud, the fake listings, the fake realtors, the fake everything. I am going to go FSBO!
The website is horrid horrid. Has no listingstatus close to other homes viewed. Just absolutely horrible. Will go to other websites. Horrid horrid more than hoorid. Will they care no.
My review is in regards to Realtor.com's agent lead program. They make it sounds fantastic, but it's TERRIBLE. Not one single lead I received turned into business. I only actually physically spoke to lead they sent twice, and they didn't even realize what they had been inquiring about. With that being said, their site in general is misleading. The Realtor.com rep that suckered me in was Eric Schmitz. He never informed me of a contract. I had already agreed to give it a try, and provided my credit card information when I received the email with the terms... 1 YEAR CONTRACT! Then, he lied about the fee amount of the zip codes I had purchased. The fees ended up being double what I had agreed to every month. FINALLY after calling multiple times, sending emails and speaking to Eric's supervisor... they agreed to let me out of the contract at 6 months, and threatened to report me to the credit bureau if I stopped payment on my credit card. Wow, thanks...$2800 later and not one single closure from this JOKE of a program. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS, IT IS A TOTAL SCAM.
I cannot tell you how many times I have requested appointments on homes for over $2,000. No one calls back or bothers to respond.
Realtor is a well put together website and app, although it needs to be updated. I definitely prefer Zillow when I'm looking for a house.
The new app is so terrible that I think it may be a conspiracy to require people to rely more heavily on their realtors.
As a realtor who just signed on for inquiries to be sent to me@ over $50 each, I am now seeing how Realtor.com has consumers fleeing to competitor sites because their search app is unusable! Given the number of complaints saying the same thing, why is that company not ditching the bad software? Instead, their advertisers and consumers are having to ditch. Who runs these businesses that are so stubborn they don't listen to repeated feedback? Self-sabatoging Corporations?
Update August 2016 --I have been caught in the back and forth disputing the charges. The arrangement I made with my rep Eltrya was for a one-time payment of $1290, for Exclusive Leads at 4x/monthly. Instead, I have been receiving varying charges of $180 to now $215 monthly--having to continuously dispute these. After receiving 2 leads over the last 2 months (the first being a $90k mobile home when avg sales price is low $200ks), and conflicting responses from customer service, I saw the writing on the wall and I cancelled. One email from the company stated the first lead was not exclusive, followed by other reps stating it was?! I liked doing business with them before all the changes that have occurred. Disappointing, since I was hoping to continue having a good arrangement like I did in past years.
Used to love this app, I could look for homes in my area. The new version is just unusable so I deleted it!
They will take your money so quick and if you have any issues understand that you are in no way a priority!
Fair experience, nothing much to say, need faster responding time indeed.
Tried a lot of them, nothing turns out really helpful.
Very slow results, cluttered pages, lousy pictures, map search is almost impossible to locate... the site is no longer user friendly
The listing details are much easier to read than on Zillow and it has room sizes which I think are important. It's way too slow to update though.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
